134. Poseidon
They arrive at the plaza and it seem they don't need to do anything. They have won, the officers have been defeated and the goons lost their morale. The Straw Hats have defeated all the officers, even after they overdose their Energy Steroid.
Jon see a chance to make an epic entrance, so he jump from Shirahoshi's shoulder. Jon run on the air and jump down in front of Neptune. Jon jump from high altitude and create a loud sound from the impact. He protect his body with Armament, and even hit the ground harder to give more dramatic effect. Jon has made his Superhero landing cooler.
He gathered everyone's attention and they all look at him. Jon stand up slowly and everyone see the two people that tied up beside him. Jon didn't say anything and just cross his arms while grinning. Everyone suddenly cheer seeing Hody & Decken unconscious self.
"Luffy-sama, what's Jon-sama doing?"-Shirahoshi
"Don't mind him, Jon like to show off, it didn't change after 2 years, hahahaha."-Luffy
"You guys are really strange."-Fukaboshi sweatdrop
Everyone cheer at him, and Jon grinning widely while holding his chin. It's not the highest score in his book, but this entrance sure have big effect. His best entrance scene so far is still Marineford when he fall from the sky in a big war.
"There it is."-Usopp
"Really, he never change."-Nami
"It has been engraved in his bones."-Brook
"He is programmed like that."-Franky
Jon then bring Hody & Decken to Neptune so he can do what is needed. He look around and see the Kingdom soldiers are arresting the pirates. Altough it's not clear if they can put 100,000 of them in prison.
Surprisingly, Neptune freed the human slaves. This island is a resting site for pirates, so it's not wise to hold them here. He also didn't arrest the Fishman pirates, but punish them with comunity service. He just arrest Hody, Decken & the officers.
Luffy & co arrived shortly after that, and everyone is relieve that it's over. The Straw Hats & Jinbe approach Luffy. Suddenly Luffy ask Jinbe to join their crew, and Jinbe refuse. Jinbe say he still have other business to do, so he can't join them now.
'So he want to join, but he can't do it now.'-Jon
"What will we do now Luffy?"-Zoro
"Let's run away from here, they'll see us as heroes."-Luffy
"Geh!"-Zoro & Jon
The Straw Hats immediately pack their things and sail away. Shirahoshi follow them and ask why they run away. Zoro say he didn't want to be a hero, because he need to share his sake. Jon also say that he like to be antihero more than a hero, it looks more badass.
Neptune that has finish the judgement, search for Straw Hats. Fikaboshi tell him that they have run away. Neptune chase them and then invite the Straw Hats to a banquet. Luffy immediately agree after hearing about the banquet. The other also agree to eat something after spending their energy.
The Straw Hats then go to the palace with the Royals and Jinbe. They'll rest there, while waiting for the banquet. Chopper also want to treat Neptune & the princes. Jon help Chopper closing the wounds after he treat them.
While being treated, Neptune tell them a story about his late wife, Otohime. She is someone that always want to make Fishmans and Humans live together. She believe that they can make a peace with humans despite their hatred.
Jon listen to Otohime's story and can't believe how big her heart is. She's still believe in humans even after what humans have done to her kind. Jon admire her big heart, because he know he won't be able to do what she did.
After Neptune finish his story, Jinbe also add some about Fisher Tiger. He was the first captain of Sun Pirates, and the one who release many slaves from Mary Geoise in the past. He have different vision with Otohime, but he don't hate her.
After hearing Jinbe's story about Fisher Tiger, Jon sigh. Jon know Tiger have that hatred from his experience with humans. But Tiger did not judge humans undiscriminately like Arlong or Hody, at least after he save the slaves.
Jon have heard about Tiger from Koala when she told him about her past as a slave. Jon was surprised, but he also relief that Koala was saved. Koala just know Tiger's story after he saved her, and Hack didn't know much too. So Jinbe's story explain many things to Jon.
"Old man Neptune, i know you have that letter to relocate this island, but don't be too hasty. Before the slavery gone, and human's opinion about Fishman, or the other way around change, don't relocate to the surface!"-Jon
"Yes, you're right, that's why i still didn't do it till today even after getting that letter. I plan to bring up this topic in Levely this year, what do you think-jamon?"-Neptune
"No, it's not the time yet. Did you have any ally Kingdom or country?"-Jon
"No, not really. We don't really have real ally-jamon."-Neptune
"Then i suggest you to make friends in this year Levely. I have a suggestion for you to approach Alabasta Kingdom. They're our friends too, so it will be easier."-Jon
"Friends? More like family right? At least for someone."-Nami
"Not yet, it's soon to be family."-Robin
Robin and Nami giggling, and Jon sweatdrop at them.
"Anyway, you need allies first before attempting to bring that up. Even if other Kingdoms agree, it will not assure this Kingdom's safety. By gaining allies, you'll have more protections from other countries or forces that want to harm you later."-Jon
"Hmm, you're right, countries and kingdoms only have eyes on their interest. There's no real friends or enemies, only profits. Gaining true ally will be crucial for our dream."-Jinbe
"I understand-jamon. I will be careful and take this plan step by step."-Neptune
After their conversation end, it's finally the time for the banquet. The banquet is very merry with many singers and dancers. This is the atmosphere that the Straw Hats like, instead of usual Kingdoms stiff banquet.
The Straw Hats are inside big air bubbles while the Fishmans are underwater. They eat and drink everything they have to celebrate today's victory. It's also a starting point for Fishmans and Humans better relationship.
Some hours after the party start, the Straw Hats leave the banquet to rest. The Fishmans though, still want to party for longer time. Jon also leave the party, then he see Robin & Neptune walk together, so he join them.
In the palace backyard, Robin ask Neptune about Joy Boy that is written in poneglyph she found earlier. Neptune explain about Joy Boy that live at the Void Century, and then about Noah, the 'promised ship'. Joy Boy wrote an apology for Mermaid Princess at that time for breaking a promise.
Neptune didn't know the details, but it was passed down from generation to generation of Ryugu family to protect Noah until the 'promised day'. It's a day when someone will fulfill Joy Boy's promise. Noah is protected so it can be used at that day.
"The ability to talk with Seakings, did Joy Boy have it?"-Robin
"No, that power is always reside on Mermaid Princess from time to time. Now it is Shirahoshi that have it. She show the sign of it for the first time when Otohime die-jamon."-Neptune have a grim face
"You don't like that power?"-Jon
"Not at all, at least i don't want Shirahoshi to have it-jamon."-Neptune
"The poneglyph in Skypiea mention about an ancient weapon that located in Fishman Island. If i'm right, then the Mermaid Princess have another name that Shirahoshi inherited. The Ancient Weapon, Poseidon."-Robin
Jon widen his eyes, he never thought that the ancient weapon can be a living being. No wonder Neptune didn't like his daughter to have that power. If it's known by the wrong people, then it will be dangerous for Shirahoshi and Fishman Island.
"Then we all need to hide this fact. If World Goverment or wrong forces know, they will do anything to get her or even eliminate her. Ancient weapons can grant big strength, but also big threat."-Jon
"That's right-jamon."-Neptune
"It's better to not talk about this to anyone else. The three of us can keep secrets, but other people might not."-Robin
After finishing their talk, Jon leave because Robin still want to ask about history. He go to meet the other crew, that are resting from the party too. He come right when Jinbe is explaining about the change in Marine.
Jon already know this because he live in the most upated force. Akainu has become the Fleet Admiral after defeating Aokiji in a battle. The battle took 10 days and night, on an island in New World. Akainu didn't kill Aokiji and even let him leave the Marine after his loss.
Jon didn't really care about what happen in Marine. However, he is a little worried because Akainu is very ruthless and can do anything. He is different from Sengoku or Aokiji, because Akainu won't think twice to destroy an island or kill his allies for his justice.
Still, Jon know that now the Marine have become stronger. Akainu is still in his prime, unlike Sengoku, so he is very strong and can be stronger. Marine also have 2 new Admirals, which have the power rivalling the previous ones. Now they have 4 Admiral level power on their top.
Jinbe then explain about the new threat, Yonkou Blackbeard. Their crew have conquered Whitebeard's territory since his death at Marineford. Blackbeard knew all Whitebeard's territory because he was a crew before. That's also why Jinbe choose to side with Big Mom rather than with Teach.
The Blackbeard pirates are known as power hunter. They hunt those with strong devil fruit and take it. No one know how they do it, but it can be because of Teach's unique devil fruit power.
Jinbe ask Luffy to be careful of Teach, because they have bad blood between them. Luffy though, didn't listen and leave before Jinbe finished. Jinbe scold him and Luffy just say he will leave everything to chance. Zoro just tell Jinbe to give up, they will listen in Luffy's stead.
Before they can continue, they hear a commotion outside. They check it and find that it's Neptune, the princes, and the soldiers. They see a strange thing happen in Hody's cell and mention a treasure that pick Nami & Jon's interest.
They follow Neptune to the dungeon and go to Hody's cell. What they find there is very surprising, but Jon is not that surprised. Hody & his officers have become old mens. Even so, they still talk about annihilating humans, or killing the Straw Hats.
"Like i thought, the side effect is maturing the cells at rapid speed. Altough i never thought that it will be this fast, but maybe it's because of overdosing."-Jon
"Their metabolism run very fast that it make their cells mature faster. It's very fast that it took many years of cell lifespan in some hours."-Chopper
"Hody, don't tell me that the Energy Steroid is actually the pills in Tamatebakko which was stolen 10 years ago. Now that i think of it, that's after you resigned from Royal Guard."-Minister of The Left
"You're right, hahaha, fool. Now i will kill you all and humans."-Hody
Hody try to break the cell, but he break his wrist instead. The squid try to help, but he also break his back. Even so, they still curse and say want to annihilate humans. It make everyone feel pity instead of hate to them.
They leave the dungeon, and Neptune even think to give them forgiveness. Fukaboshi also say he will forgive Hody for killing his mother. They really feel pity toward these guys insanity. They go out and someone come to them. He report that Baron Tamago and Pekoms from Big Mom pirates come to get their candy.
"This is bad, the candy factory is destroyed by the New Fishman Pirates."-Neptune
