Put a rag in my mouth

Put a rag in my mouth

Jing Lihua climbed out of the car and glanced around. Not soon after, a team of guards by her company rushed to her.

"President Jing."

"We have searched everywhere. Heng Bingwen is not in this fort."

"There hadn't been signs of him being here before either."

"Where else could he be?" Jing Lihua looked at the time. "Two hours till hearing. Their family lawyer stated that if Heng Bingwen didn't appear at the time of the hearing, we would have to apply legally for a copy of the will. We will become unaware of its content until we get it. If that happens, Heng Huizhong would find a way to get everything to his name after eradicating the evidence. Even if there might be a slight chance to help Heng Bingwen out, the legal procedure would be too long."

Wang Yi rushed to Jing Lihua. "President, I received a message from Mei Xiu. She received a signal for help from Heng Bingwen's side."

"Signal for help?" Jing Lihua frowned. "When did that rascal arranged all that? Well, at least he was careful and now we can find him."

"The signal was weak. It may disappear soon."

"Then we should hurry." Jing Lihua's eyes darkened as she walked towards the car.

.

Heng Bingwen was pushed down to the ground. He hissed before wiping blood from his mouth. "All I wanted to do was to check if my phone was alright or not. Why are you guys being so violent?"

Hearing the ruckus created outside by the bald man and Heng Bingwen, everyone inside the garage had rushed outside at once.

The one in lead said in a solemn tone.

"Check his phone. He might have contacted someone."

Heng Bingwen's eyes flashed with something. 'Listening to my words, I hope they get distracted by my phone and don't think of anything else. Not my wristwatch please.'

However, the bald man who had his eye wounded by the marble piece, and his head smashed by a broken brick by Heng Bingwen just a moment ago, was brimming with resentment and keeping his gaze fixed on him.

He had seen the flash of light across Heng Bingwen's eyes.

"That f*cker is trying to fool you guys!" If not for other people holding him down, that bald man would have already beaten Heng Bingwen to death and ripped apart his innards. His eyes were bloodshot as he seethed in anger, blood dripping down from his injured head.

Heng Bingwen beamed at that man. "Do not feel so gloomy. It's not like you look any more hideous than how you looked before that scar."

At his provocative comment, Heng Bingwen was awarded a kick.

"Do you still think it's a joke?"

Another kick.

Heng Bingwen endured silently thinking. 'At least, by venting on me he forgot about that 'he is fooling you guys' thing'

"Enough Mike." The one in lead said with cold eyes.

One of the men came back after taking out Heng Bingwen things in the backseat of the van.

"His phone had not been unlocked. He had not contacted anyone."

He announced after checking the black screen.

Still lying on the ground, trying to endure his pain Heng Bingwen glanced up looking at the things in the man's hand. 'Thankfully, he didn't think it worthy to bring out my watch.'

Within his hands, was only a custom made phone that had always accompanied Heng Bingwen.

"See? I just told you guys. I wanted to see if my phone was alright or not. That's all. Why don't you trust me?"

"We should not take risks." The one in lead said and glanced at his subordinates.

Hearing this, the bald man readily grabbed the phone from the other man's hand and crushed it into the wall at once.

Heng Bingwen's eyes widened in shock. "How could you! Even if I had contacted anyone... what was the use breaking it now?"

He felt his heart pierced by needles. It happened so suddenly... He couldn't even mentally prepare himself.

"Do you even know that I had meticulously designed each and every part of that phone with great detail? D-Do you have an idea how much it cost?"

All of them froze.

"How much it cost?" One of them took the initiative to ask.

Heng Bingwen was brimming with resentment. "More than your mothers!"

Those thugs looked slightly regretful as they glanced at the broken pieces.

"Do not worry. We have a lot waiting for us if we do this job right. I don't think the phone was the only trick he had under his sleeves. To be safe, we should also move to some other place." The one in lead declared. "Our dealers said that he is a smart one. This deal has been a big catch for us. We can't risk it."

"Smart one? Huh. seems like a retarded one to me."

'Big catch? It meant his uncle offered them quite a lot' Getting over his grief, Heng Bingwen caught their words. 'All is not lost. As long as the precious brain of mine is undamaged... I can make a thousand smartphones like that'

"Oh, wow. I can't begin to explain how delighted I am that Uncle Wei spent so much to keep me detained. I sincerely feel... special."

Listening how nonchalant and light Heng Bingwen was in his words, the bald man was once again enraged and rushed to hit him. But the leader stopped him.

Glancing at Heng Bingwen, he silently wondered. 'Why is he purposely trying to provoke us again and again? Is it because he is just too arrogant, or is it because he has some ulterior motives.'

"Get him up. We are leaving."

Heng Bingwen was roughly pulled up onto his feet. "What? Are you guys taking me somewhere else? What about shoving a rag in my mouth and throwing me in the storeroom?"

"You want a rag in your mouth? We will fulfill that wish of yours too."

However, their leader's eyes widened in shock.

'Why would he want them to stay here?'

"He has alerted someone!" Piercing Heng Bingwen with a fierce glare, he quickly ordered his subordinate.

"Quickly gather our things. We are going to depart at once."

Heng Bingwen was tied and thrown at the backseat of the van in no time. However, when they tried to start up the van, the engine wouldn't respond. No matter how many times they tried. the van just wouldn't start.

"It was fine just a moment ago. What happened now?"

They had bikes but the problem was, they could just take a tied man over the bike.

Their leader was in deep thought. However, when he glanced back, his eyes fell on Heng Bingwen's complacent expressions.

A sudden realization hit him and even he lost it in the end.

"F*ck it! You Motherf*cker!"
