"Madame Bao, you are very gracious but not everyone deserves your kindness. Jing Lihua is a part of my family but I am morally upright. Just because of kinship I won't hide anything from you." Su Donghai's head was high.      

He glanced at Jing Lihua when she didn't raise her voice in objection. When he saw the strange expressions on Jing Lihua's face, he was confused at first. However, it didn't take him long to assume that she was scared. Establishing that in his mind, he was very satisfied.     

However, fear wasn't the reason behind her funny expressions. She was just feeling helpless about whatever Madame Bao was planning.     

"What do you mean to say, Elder Su? What did she do?" Madame Bao continued to pretend to be curious.     

"Just before you arrived she had been disrespectful towards me. When she came into the house, she didn't pay any heed to the household rules."     

Every family had rules in it. Some families put importance on those rules while some did not. Su Donghai assumed that Madame Bao was also one of those who put importance on their family rules. After all, that was what he had heard about her through rumors. During her tea parties, Madame Bao had a set of strict rules and anyone who made the slightest mistake would be forced to leave at once.      

"Is that so?" Mamdae Bao glanced at Jing Lihua with a suspicious gaze. "I thought that Xiao Jing was a very obedient child. Elder Su, can you tell me what exact rules did she break?"     

When Su Donghai saw the suspecting look in Madame Bao's eyes and lack of response and denial from Jing Lihua's side, his confidence was strengthened. He felt a great deal of accomplishment when he saw himself putting a crack in their trust.     

"According to the family rules, the House Master should be the one she should have greeted first after one enters the House after a long period of time. This rule had been followed and respected in Su household for generations. However, she totally ignored me."     

"If not you then who did she meet after she entering the house?"     

Su Donghai fell silent for a while. "Her father-in-law." Saying it like this didn't feel like Jing Lihua was in the wrong. To turn the tables, he quickly said. "But that doesn't matter. At this, Jing Lihua broke out of the trance and looked in Su Donghai' direction in shock. "Elder Su, I could expect anything from you but I couldn't expect you to lie so openly. Please at least take your position and age into account when doing such a low thing. You make me feel ashamed."     

"Wait, what do you mean Xiao Jing? Is it Elder Su who is lying?" Madame Bao looked totally confused. looking at her expressions, Jing Lihua felt a sudden chill. This woman... deserved an oscar in her acting skills. And that Li Zhiqiang was a complete replica of her; just the male version.     

"Silence! How dare you try to mislead Madame Bao? She had given you such respect and this is how you pay her back? If you did something wrong you should admit it than misleading her. Maybe she finds it in her heart and forgives you. You already don't give me the respect of Elder. But Madame Bao treats you so well. Why do you try to mislead her?" Su Donghai quickly said.     

At his words, Jing Lihua looked from the scary Mother towards Su Donghai. she almost wanted to caution him secretly that Madame Bao was plying with him. Seeing him so eagerly engaged in this blame-shifting game, Jing Lihua thought it would be unfair if she didn't say her part. "What proof do you have that I used vulgar language against you?"     

"You are the young generation while I am house Elder. Whose words hold more credibility? Do I need to teach basic rules to you? Even if you ignore the age, all these servants are proof. They all witnessed your crude language." Su Donghai shook his head. At his words, dozens of servants rushed forward to attest, But Su Donghai stopped them by raising his hand.
