My Husband is My Professor and Boss

The beginning of Avery's married life was very bad. But one thing she did notice was that despite Alex being a nonveg lover, nonveg was never made in their kitchen after their marriage. Even she had never seen a single egg in the refrigerator. And now she understood that Alex had banned nonveg in the mansion because of her.     

Even though she was a pure vegetarian, she always used to made egg dishes for her younger brother. She never tried nonveg dishes but she was good at making eggs. And Liam was also a very big fan of her egg Curry.     

She fixed her hair properly so that she would not be disturbed in the middle of work and started her task.     

She first put the eggs in the pot for boiling and then concentrated on fried rice. Soon she prepared both dishes.     

After the cooking was done, she turned off the flame, put the lid on the pot, and sat down on the chair. She was starting to feel nauseous because of the spice smells. She thought it would be better to take a little rest but her guess turned to be wrong and she quickly ran into the washroom.     

After vomiting all over, she washed her face and wiped it with a clean towel. She felt a little better now. Then she looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a little messy and her face was dull. She picked up the comb from the glass compartment next to the mirror. She let go of her long hair and began to comb.     

Surprisingly, she saw the same powder she always used at home. She took the little amount of powder on her palm and spread it all over her face. Now she felt very fresh.

MEANWHILE     

After leaving Avery in the room, Alex came into his office. Adjusting his suit jacket properly, he sat down on his King size leather chair. Within one minute he heard a knock on his office door and he permitted the person to come in.     

The door of his office opened and the man in his early fifties entered. That man was none other than Mr. White, accompanied by his assistant, who was standing behind his boss.     

As soon as Mr. White saw Alex's stony face, he felt cold sweat on his head.     

Although Mr. White had spent more than thirty years in the business world, yet he is shaken by a glance at Alex. Today when     

Mr. White has spent more than thirty years in the business world, yet one look by Alex was more than enough to shake his body completely. Today when he found out about the news, his situation became like a fish without water. He did not understand what to do.     

That time only thought that came to his mind was whether Alex would cancel the deal with him because of this false news. He was very scared. Because the deal was very important to him and he could not afford to lose it now. But then again news flashed through his head gaining his attention on particular point. He thought it would be great if Alex married his daughter. But will Alex be ready for this? That was a big question.     

Putting all those thoughts aside, he became more terrified when Alex called him. Gathering all his courage, he decided to meet Alex.     

When he went to Alex's office seeing Alex's stern expression he began to tremble.     

In a few moments, the discussion between the two began. The conversation between the two lasted about fifty minutes, which proved to be the most difficult fifty minutes of Mr. White's life.     

In these fifty minutes, Alex put all pressure on Mr. White to find out the truth but he got no output. Because even Mr. White knew nothing about it.     

But even in that tense atmosphere, Mr. White did not forget to talk about Alex and Violet's marriage. He also told Alex about the benefits of this business marriage which got him a sharp look from Alex and he fell silent.     

Hearing his ridiculous suggestion, Alex wanted to punch his pretty face, wanted to take his life on the spot, but Alex was one of those people who didn't react in the first place. Alex was a person who would believe in finding out what was hidden in the head of another person so that the same problem would not arise again in the future and he did the same with Clara.     

He ended the meeting after convincing himself that Mr. White knew nothing of the matter. But he was guaranteed that there was someone behind this who knew about their deal. For this, his suspicion directly went to Violet. He told Ethan to get the full information and to contact the news agency as well.     

After that, he got up from his chair and went towards the closed door. When he opened the bedroom door, a mouth-watering aroma hit his nostrils. He immediately closed his eyes and smelled that delicious aroma. He then opened his eyes and looked around the room. He did not see his wife anywhere but his eyes went to the pot placed on the small table in front of the couch. He went there and stretching out his right hand pulling the lid off both pots. Seeing the food items in the pot, the corners of his lips went up. A sincere smile formed on his lips which was reaching his eyes. Standing up straight, he put one hand in the pocket of his trouser pant and ran the other hand through his thick hair. The smile on his lips was still not fading.     

And then the washroom door opened which drew his attention. When he looked at the door, his little wife was standing in the doorway looking at him. Seeing the smile on his lips, she also passed him a sweet smile.     

Now she was looking fresher than before and her long brown hair was loose. Half her hair was in front which was cascading on her chest and a half was on her back. She was still in her uniform but yet she was looking very gorgeous in Alex's eyes. Without controlling his action, he took a long stride and approached her. Without warning her, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. Her hands went to his chest due to his sudden impact.     

"You are looking so beautiful my little wifey." He winked his left eye complimenting her. She removed her hand from his chest and wrapped it around his neck. She stood on her toes.     

"But I didn't do anything and I'm still in my uniform." Hearing her words, he lowered his face and kissed her on the forehead.     

Fever     

"But still you are looking so lovely. I am lucky that have you in my life."     

"Oh, Alex don't be cheesy." Unwrapping her hand she hit him playfully on his rock chest. "Now enough all this. Go and wash your hands. I made lunch for you."     

"Yeah, I saw that." Saying this he kissed her forehead and went into the washroom. Avery walked over to the table and sat down on the couch. She served fried rice and egg curry for Alex. She had no desire to eat but she knew that Alen would not eat alone and would force her to, so she served a little amount of fried rice for herself.     

Soon after Alex came out and sat down beside her     

Avery put the spoon on Alex's plate and slid the plate in front of him. She pointed to the plate raising her eyebrows with wide eyes. Her message was to test and tell me how is the meal. Seeing her cute expression, Alex couldn't stop himself. Putting his hand behind her head and pulled her towards him. And gave a small peck on her pink lips.     

Avery was still dazed about what suddenly happened now when Alex separated himself from her and picked up the spoon and dipped it into the curry. He put the full filled spoon in his mouth and, "Hmm... It's so delicious. It's my first time."     

Enjoying the egg curry, he moaned.     

He turned his face and looked at her when he didn't get a reply, "Love, What are you thinking, Why don't you eat?" His question brought her back.     

"I will...." She picked up a plate with only fried rice and started eating.     

Alex didn't ask her why she didn't take curry because he knew the reason but he questioned about the amount of fried rice. "Why did you take so little?"     

"You know I came here after my lunch and I'm not so hungry."     

She lied to Alex. The real reason was that she did not want to eat because of vomiting. She feared that if she ate, she would vomit again. She didn't tell Alex about her vomiting because she knew he would ask her about the pills again and maybe he would take her to the hospital too.     

"Ok.." Alex shook his head. "But I am very hungry. And I'm going to finish all this."
