My Husband is My Professor and Boss

"Why are you hiding yourself ." Actually He wasn't going to tell Mrs. Miller about today's incident because Mrs. Miller didn't knew their whole past . But he thought Avery would feel better after meeting her mother. But here the situation was different.     

"I'm not ready yet." When she looked out the window again, her mother was looking at their car and her little brother was standing next to her. It is impossible for them to see inside because the glass of the car is coated with a film.     

"Fine. Just pretend you're asleep. I'll do the rest." She nodded her head and Alex opened the door.     

Ranveer had actually seen Alex so he could easily tell that Alex is not an ordinary person.     

He came to her side and unlocked the door. He bent down and gently lifted her in his arms.     

"Close your eyes dear." She closed her eyes and rested her head on his chest. She felt guilty doing this but she had no other choice. If she had gone in front of her mother, she would not have been able to control herself.     

Seeing Avery in Alex's arms, Sara immediately went to them. "What has happened to her. "     

"She is only under the influence of medicine that's why she is in a deep sleep. There is nothing to worry about."     

"But what exactly happened to her. What did the doctor say." Mrs. Millar asked worriedly.     

"It was just a mild fever. The doctor told she must take rest." Mrs. Miller was not satisfied with Alex's words as she felt that he was hiding something from her. But she trusted Alex about Avery's safety so she didn't push him too much.     

Avery's heart skipped a beat when she felt her mother's hand on her hair. She pressed her tongue between her teeth till the blood came out to show no expression on her face.     

"Alex, what happened to Ave." They heard the voice of the little gentleman's voice from down who was standing next to his mother. He could not hear their conversation clearly due to the height gap between them. "It's nothing serious, Champ, your sister isn't feeling well. She's just sleeping.". Alex looked at Liam and smiled and replied.     

"oh" he puckered his little lips out. "Ave doesn't have muscles like Liam, and she doesn't eat eggs, so she's always felt sick. Look, I have muscles." Liam said, showing his small arm. His sweet talk lightened the atmosphere and brought smiles to everyone's faces.     

Avery wanted to hug her brother but she couldn't. They all got into the jet and Alex took Avery straight to the bedroom. When He laid her down on the bed she immediately opened her eyes. Alex saw the guilt in her eyes. He kissed her head. "Don't worry about anything. I'll be back shortly." He pulled the banquet over her body and left the room. Avery closed her eyes again and pretended to be asleep. She was guaranteed that her mother would come to see her and she did.     

And she was right Sara came into the bedroom and sat next to her daughter.     

Sarah wasn't paying attention to Avery's leg outside so she didn't see the bandage on her ankle which was a close call. And now half of her body was covered with a blanket. Her hands were hidden in Alex's suit jacket at that time and now the blanket was on her hands. Sarah cradled Avery's head and kissed her on the forehead.     

She then observed her daughter's face where she noticed a light red mark that was not there before. Avery's eye rims and face were also swollen. Avery's facial marks were greatly reduced by the effective ointment, but her face was still slightly swollen.     

"What is this?" she mumbled. She touched Avery's cheek causing her to feel a little pain but still she didn't show any emotion. "I'll have to ask Mr. Hill," she said to herself and left with another kiss on Avery's cheek.

A young man was sitting on the bar counter in a club at the other end of the city. He had a empty glass of alcohol in his hand and asked the bartender to refill it. "Sir, you have already drunk too much. It is not right for you to drink any more."     

"I didn't ask you for advice. You do your job," he told the bartender in a stern voice. The bartender filled his glass. The young man was about to swallow a glass of alcohol when another young man grabbed his hand.     

"Come on man Ranveer now stop this stupidity. You have been drinking continuously for an hour since I met you. At list tell me what really happened." Ranveer's friends asked him. The bartender was attending to the rest of the customers and was looking at them. He knew Ranveer very well because Ranveer was his senior. That bartender was also an undercover officer.     

"My heart is broken, my friend. "     

He put his hand on his heart and said.     

"How did the person who always breaks other's heartbreak his heart," said his friend with a smile. "How can a playboy's heartbreak."     

"Don't say that, it hurts a lot. "     

He said pressing his heart. His friend could not see his miserable condition. "Okay. Just tell me who she is. I'll bring her here now." Hearing this, Ranveer started laughing.     

"You can't even touch a single hair of her bring her here is far away. She is under the protection of a devil."     

Ranveer had seen the terrifying look of Alex. He was the kind of person who could kill anyone in a minute with just his hands.     

"Why are you talking like this? Don't forget who we are."     

Ranveer placed his glass on the counter at this word. " who are we? We are nobody in front of him."     

"What are you talking about." His friend was confused.     

"She is already married. "     

"What." Both his friend and the bartender were shocked.
