Yun was left stunned with the way Liam spoke to him and he fainted on the spot, both with anger and fear of the result of the trial. He didn't understand how things came to this. He had everything prepared.      

His men even got an opportunity to kidnap Yera and blackmail Xander on her name. A while ago Xander even looked completely shattered, and he was almost sure of his victory. What went wrong?      

His little brain couldn't process the problem and when Liam was about to stand up to defend him, he grabbed his collar and like a crazy whispered, "You have to win this case and I will take care of Shawn's name… I will make sure he will have peace with his family and I will not bother the Kens nor pull them down with Shawn's past…"     

Yun was silently hoping Liam could do the magic like what he was known for, but Liam abruptly pushed him and said, "I told you beforehand that we Ken's can manage to protect our own people and don't need help from scumbags like you. Don't worry Mr Yun, I will handle your case as to how it should be handled."     

Yun looked at Liam's back with parted lips and thought about what that bastard meant by his words? 'Handle his case as to how it should be handled?' he mused while encouraging himself that Liam would make his utmost to win his case over, as he was famous for never losing any case.     

Liam stood up and picked something out from his pocket and handed it over to the judge.     

"Your honor… Me and my family are victims of Yun's evil plans as well. What I have just handed over to you is the evidence of his greed for power and how evil he is just for fulfilling his own purpose and claim.      

It is a recording of his voice taken just a while ago in which he is confirming all the crimes he had committed. In that recording you can clearly see how he was threatening me by planting false evidence against my cousin and framing him." Liam started and stated to everyone how Yun was harassing his cousin, including him and their families.     

"You! Traitor! How did you!" Yun shouted as he listened to his own voice that was played inside the courtroom. Liam frowned because he'd been putting up with that bastard and his whims enough, and his patience had almost given up already. All he wanted was to make sure that Shawn and his family would be kept safe from the evil plans of this scum.     

About how did he manage to get the recording, given that he had nothing when he entered the court? He got the required things inside the restroom where one of Raine's men had hidden it and informed him through a note. The entire case had been fixed even before it all started as someone, a close aide of The clan, named Raine, was helping the Kens and Yangs in the shadows, providing them with important information and help as and when needed. Also, her motive was to get Yun punished for his crimes, better make him get a death penalty.      

So from one point it did look like Liam was defending Yun, but the actual reason for Liam to represent him was to get him punished and not make it clear in the first hearing. Most of the things were orchestrated by Ms. Raine.     

Liam thought everything was well planned and very well played to bring down Yun. He had to keep everything confidential, not risking Raine's plan, so he had to keep away all these details as well from Lana.     

Yun was hysterical at that moment and had completely lost control of his sanity, he started shouting and even tried to assault Liam but the security intervened at that moment and to control him they had to pin him down before he could attack Liam. Yun was then kept in the custody of the guards and after the chaos was settled they all silently waited for the final verdict by the judge.      

The judge looked at all the evidence and the crimes Yun had committed. He was even personally aware of the destructive and obsessive mind of Yun and knew that each evidence was very laboriously obtained.     

The case made by the lawyer of Mr. Yang had been excellently prepared. The judge praised the lawyer's efforts as well as the collection of all evidence, and especially the efforts in producing the main eyewitness in the courtroom by keeping him alive. He also praised Xander for all his efforts for the same.      

The judge then gave the final verdict and Yun was given the death sentence, 'to be hanged till death' with immediate effect.     

Xander was on cloud nine when he heard the verdict, and Yun's eyes enlarged. Yun's body became limp as soon as he realised that he could not do anything now. He started shouting and threatening everyone present around, "If you all dare to kill me today, my brother will wake up and avenge my murder from you all.      

All my loyal men will make sure to kill each and every family member of all the people present here. You all still have time to leave me and let me go. Leave me, I said, I am the prince of the Yue clan, how can you treat me like this?"     

When Xander heard all his rantings, he went closer to him. He looked into his eyes and said, "You deserved a better punishment. Hanging till dead is very mild for you. You killed my mother, my brother who was so dear to me was also killed by you.      

I lost my unborn child because of you, and not only this, you are responsible for ruining the lives of so many people and destroying so many young girls for the greed of your men. These clans were made for maintaining a parallel power in the underworld to be able to maintain peace and keep in check unlawful activities by the underworld realm, not to fulfill your unethical greed Yun! But you… you became a murderer of your own family and even killed so many civilians to put the blame off your head."     

Xander turned around and stood with his back straight and finished by saying his last words to Yun, "Yun, had you kept the consideration of familial ties your fate could definitely be different. But no one would even think of having mercy on a monster like you."     

Yun fell on ground hearing the words from Xander and realising that he would be killed by hanging… He would be hanged that same instant and everyone present inside the courtroom would witness that.     

Without further ado, everyone watched as Yun was taken to the execution room and hanged till he died. Xander himself went there to check his pulse and vitals. He pronounced him finally finished. He was no longer breathing.
