Why Little Birdie?
"Team one, Team two, Little Birdie ready to fly from the coup," Ria spoke to a microphone connected into her cap links and waited for the team to reply.
"Team leader, copy that! Ten-four!" Lucas and Logan reply loud and clear.
Alexa, who listened throughout the whole conversation, thought it was funny how they called her 'Little Birdie', and she wondered what name they called her older brother and step-mother. 'Big Bird and Lady Crow?'' She laughed at her thought. Ria looked at Alexa to see what she was laughing at. Alexa raised and waved her hand, hello. Ria shook her head before motioning to her Little Birdie to fly the coop.
While they walked out of the White House, Alexa was thinking about their nicknames. She knew that the President was probably being called 'The Eagle��� since that was the symbol of The United States of America, but why would they call her 'Little Birdie', and not Little Chicken or Little Duckling? She started laughing out loud, which startled Ria and gave her a curious glance.
The Secret Service detail was already standing by waiting for them when they came out. Team 1 drove ahead of Alexa's car. While Lucas was to lead Team 2 followed behind. Logan was driving the vehicle that Alexa and Ria entered. Ria sat in the front passenger side.
While she was sitting in the back seat of the car, Alexa looked at some of the pictures she took with the new iPhone that was given to her by her older brother. She felt a twinge of pain in her heart when she remembered what she told Daniel about giving it back if and when the DNA result came out and it determined that she was not the daughter of President Grant.
She was in deep thought when she heard Logan speak, " Were here, Miss Grant."
Alexa snapped out of daydreaming and prepared herself to get out of the car.
While Alexa was making herself ready when Logan's phone started to ring, He looked at the number and realized that it was his sister Lea. Logan was at a loss of what to do, and it was clearly showing on his face.
Alexa saw it and smiled, "Go ahead! Answer it, and it sounds like it is an urgent phone call, we can wait."
"Thank you!" Logan answered the call right away before Alexa changed her mind.
"Hello, Lea! What is up? What? You're in Washington, D.C., right now?" Logan looked at Alexa while listening to what his sister was saying.
"You want to meet with us? No, we can't. We are currently doing detail, and we are out of the White House." Logan told Lea sadly.
Alexa heard the one end of the conversation and decided to help out. "Logan, is that your family? If you want, we could meet them, and we could go sight-seeing afterward."
Alexa knew that Logan's sister currently lived in the Philippines, and what she understood was that his sister had a connection with the famous couple that had gotten married a couple of months ago while she was there. 'Who was it?' She thought genuinely while her eyebrows were almost meeting each other.
Logan was not sure of how to reply. He missed his baby sister, and it was not every day she came to D.C. for a visit. After contemplating for a second, he decided to accept Alexa's offer. "Thank you! if that is alright with you, I will let her know now!"
He continued talking to Lea, "Alright! We will meet up. Where are you right now? Hmmm...Alright! We are currently at this place, which is not far from the Airport and the Port, We could meet up here and go from there."
"Oh! I know that place. We were planning to visit that place after meeting with you. It is okay then?... We could meet there and have lunch together afterward. We will see you in a bit!" Lea excitedly informs Logan then hangs up, so she could tell the gang where they were going.

"Miss Grant, I apologize for the intrusion. It seems that we will have a company, and it is my younger sister who is visiting with her fiance and some friends. By the way, she talked, it must be urgent, or she would not have called me while on duty.
Alexa smiled before replying, "It's alright! It would be fun to meet with your sister, and I bet she is a beauty since both you and Lucas are good looking. I also would like to meet her and ask about the couple that got married not long ago. You know the couple that had the wedding of history, Do you know them?"
Logan suddenly turns scarlet red from the praise that Alexa had given him.
"Yes, she is a beauty! She is a cowboy too! Yes, I know the couple that married. I met them several times, and I grew up with the bride. " Logan said nonchalantly. "You would enjoy meeting her, and she is only a couple of years older than you and Ria," Logan announced while a slight grin showed on his face.
Ria was stunned that Logan included her in the conversation. He was a rare occasion when he would say hello to her when they work together. This was a first, and she blushed from thinking about it.
While they waited for Lea and her friends, Alexa and her entourage went inside the Art Museum to look around. Time flew by fast while she was touring the museum. There were so many exquisite paintings and other forms of art that she became engrossed and amazed at the same time.
Logan, Lucas, and Ria quietly followed Alexa around. When a ruckus started at the door. Lea's voice could be heard where Alexa looked at Art. When she turned her head in the direction of the voice, she saw a petite, beautiful, young, woman in her early twenties, flying towards the twins.
"That must be their sister," Alexa mumbled to herself while watching how the twins were thrilled to see their baby sister Lea who just flew in from the Philippines. Right behind her were three equally good looking specimens and next to them were two women that could pass as identical twins and both so...beautiful.
Alexa felt a little disheartened after seeing them, and she thought that Logan and Lucas's family were middle-class people, and she would fit in very well.
However, after seeing the people that came with Lea, she no longer felt that she was not good enough to meet with them. Especially the tall scary handsome man with equally tall and beautifully elegant...
