"Yang Xinyu, this is not my idea of picnic. With so many people looking at us, I can't even do or talk what I want to," Wu Lina feeling bad.
"Sorry darling. But pregnant woman cannot go around places where she would get jerks. But I promise that once you have given birth to our child, we will go to your dream vacation," he said reassuring her.
Wu Lina just puffed her cheeks and started eating the rice noodles with sprouts that a maid had served her.
While they were talking, Yang Xinyu received an email from Chen Jungxu:
Sub: Board Meeting
Dear Sir,
My client Mrs. Yang Chún qiàn has called upon an urgent board meeting on Monday. The agenda is to appoint a new CEO for the company with everybody's consent. You are kindly requested to be there.

Yang Xinyu was infuriated at his mother's wiles. He threw the phone on the grass after reading the mail. Wu Lina looked up at him and asked, "What happened Xini?" she looked scared.
"Nothing baby… just the usual company business…" he replied and looked far ahead in the horizon. What was his mother up to? He ego was going beyond control. Even the Chairman was unable to control her. He had to find a way to curb her trickeries. Then he looked at Wu Lina and pulled her on his lap. Circling her belly he dipped his head in the crook of her neck and said, "My world…"
Wu Lina smiled at him and stroked his hands that were on her belly. All of a sudden Yang Xinyu picked his phone and took their selfie. He chuckled, "See my entire family is here – you, me and the baby."
She laughed and the atmosphere became lighter.
When the picnic was over, Wu Lina went inside while Yang Xinyu called Zhao Hai xiang.
Zhao Hai xiang was expecting the call. He said, "Good afternoon sir. She wants to dismiss you as the CEO of the company and has support of almost seventy percent of the members. Most of those board members are your family. They have vested interests and each of them is looking for their son to become the CEO."
"Who is the strongest candidate amongst them?" asked Yang Xinyu.
"Your maternal cousin. He is the son of your mother's cousin sister and he has just graduated from the Yale University. He is backed by your mother." replied Zhao Hai xiang. He had done his homework very well.
"Hmm… I want to talk to all other board members. Arrange a meeting and find out about their demands or preferences," he ordered him.
Yang Xinyu then placed a call to his father.
"I didn't know that she cooking something so big behind my back Yang Xinyu," said the Chairman as soon as he picked the phone.
"Well, what do you propose father?" asked Yang Xinyu.
"Talk to all the board members. You must know their weaknesses and their demands," he said very coldly.
"Yes father."
By the time it was evening Zhao Hai xiang had filled him with all the reports. He had come to the bungalow and along with Lu Shiming they read the details about each and every board member. Yang Xinyu called the Chairman after he had done his homework.
They sat down together. It was late in the night but the plan was formulated. The Chairman was highly impressed with his son. He was also impressed by Zhao Hai xiang. That child was certainly very intelligent.
The meeting continued till 3am in the night. The necessary calls were placed.
Once Lu Shiming and Zhao Hai xiang had left, the Chairman asked Yang Xinyu to give as many benefits as he could to Zhao Hai xiang so that he doesn't look for any other job.
On Sunday, out of the fifteen board members, two sent emails to the concerned offices that could not attend the board meeting as they had to go out on urgent business trips. Large sums of money were deposited in their banks apart from extra one percent stock option.
Three of them were in their fifties, and they were having illicit relationships with girls half their age without the wives knowing about their affairs. Photographs on their compromising positions were sent to them in sealed envelopes. The warning was clear. They had to abstain from voting. It was a different thing that those photographs were sent to their wives after the board meeting was over.
Five board members were Yang Xinyu's and the Chairman's loyalists. They confirmed that they would vote for him only. Only five were left that Yang Xinyu didn't have to deal with.
However, there was one more plan that Yang Xinyu had come up with.

It was Sunday and they had to attend Bo Xilai and Zhou Zhili marriage ceremony. Wu Lina wanted to leave early so that she could help Zhou Zhili with her dress and other last-minute activities. But Yang Xinyu didn't allow her. Wu Lina created quite a mayhem and Yang Xinyu had to relent to her. He allowed her with conditions – she had to take five maids with her and the usual security men that surrounded her always. Wu Lina just rolled her eyes and agreed. At least she was getting to go sooner.
When Wu Lina arrived at Zhou Zhili's house, she found that both the bride and the groom were not even dressed. There was a lot of confusion. They were both nervous. The relatives were waiting for them.
The relatives were stunned by the opulence of the girl who had just entered. Five maids followed her and the security guards had formed a circle around her.
Wu Lina took charge of the things and with the help of her maids she could get them ready for the wedding in time. Once they were ready, Wu Lina said with a huge grin, "Let's get you married!"
