Saving the overbearing CEO (BOYLOVE)

Wen Qinxi wanted to cool Qie Ranzhe's jets for these poor soldiers but he had other matters to attend to so he silently disappeared while the general scolded his men. As soon as he opened the door of the mobile home, he couldn't find Feng Xieling, only Zhao Huangzhi and Qie Guaiwu were in the mobile home. Seeing Feng Zi had returned, she said something to him but Wen Qinxi didn't bother with her and looked around for his boy.     

He didn't really have to search for long as he caught sight of Airen and Feng Xieling near one of his vehicles with his men surrounding them. "Lin Lin!" cried out Wen Qinxi.     

As soon as the little dumpling caught sight of his dad, nothing else mattered. He cut through the group of men and darted towards Feng Zi. His father was okay, that's all that mattered to him. Father and son embraced each other in joyous reunion disregarding everyone else.     

"Why are you guys out here?" asked Wen Qinxi while carrying Feng Xieling in his arms. Airen didn't hesitate to reiterate the night's events. It turns out Qie Guaiwu delayed the rescue mission saying that Airen should go down the cliff as none of their soldiers could transform into flying beasts but Airen knew that once she left, she might not see Feng Xieling ever again. Qie Guaiwu actually lied, she had at least three soliders who can transform to flying beasts. The two parties were stuck in a stalemate till this morning. Having lost to Airen, she had no other choice but to send those three men. As to the reason why they weren't in the mobile home, it was because of this disagreement.     

Pissed off, Wen Qinxi told his men to get in their vehicles before placing Feng Xieling in his car seat. That bitch dared to steal his son while he was away. Angered to the point of losing rationality he took the wheel and led his convoy towards the borderlands leaving the army behind.     

Qie Ranzhe who was still venting out his anger noticed Feng Zi's convoy leaving without letting him know. He immediately got into his SUV with Machu and followed. The rest of the soldiers panicked not knowing what to do or whose orders to follow. They listened to Qie Guaiwu because she out ranked Qie Ranzhe but after being yelled at they weren't sure anymore. By the time Qie Guaiwu was informed, the only thing she could see was the fading dust cloud left behind by Qie Ranzhe's car.     

"What the fuck are you waiting for? Move, move, move!" she yelled feeling a headache coming up. Qie Ranzhe had changed a lot, he was now a ticking time bomb with no regard of military rules. The men immediately packed up and followed after Qie Ranzhe.     

Meanwhile in Qie Ranzhe's car, Machu who was driving handed over a tablet to Qie Ranzhe and said, "The results from the test came out last night. You can take a look, I haven't opened them." Last night, he had got a scolding from the lab manager who was pissed off because he had already run a DNA test on the same person more than ten times already. This is when Machu found out that General Qie Guaiwu had the same idea as Qie Ranzhe.     

He didn't open the results because he was scared to know what was in it. He was also preoccupied last night trying to figure out a way to get down the 1,000 meter (0.6miles) cliff without flying beastmen.     

If this kid is the General's then who is the mother? Besides Feng Zi, he had known Qie Ranzhe the longest and had never seen him interested in any other woman apart from Zhao Huangzhi and if Zhao Huangzhi wasn't the mother then who else was that close to Qie Ranzhe? He was very curious and could only wait for Qie Ranzhe to return so he could ask him.     

Qie Ranzhe opened the document his mind in a haze. He was upset that Feng Zi just up and left without him. He could understand why Feng Zi was upset but why did he have to leave him behind? Weren't they good just a minute ago?     

It took Qie Ranzhe a moment to clear his mind when he finally read the results in detail. Thunderstruck, Qie Ranzhe remained frozen in shock with his face turning pale. He was so shocked that he didn't hear Machu calling out to him. Machu was wondering what could be so bad that it had Qie Ranzhe reacting this way. Curiosity got the best of him despite the fact that he was driving so he took the tablet from Qie Ranzhe.     

In the middle of the desert, a black SUV suddenly hit emergency breaks with a cloud of dust forming behind. "Shit!" yelled Machu his eyes wide open in disbelief. He couldn't believe it. How was that possible?     

"No.....no, no, no, that makes no fucking sense," said Machu tossing the tablet back before starting the car once more. None of this made any sense.     

If Machu was this freaked out how about the man who just found out he had a child with his friend slash enemy slash pursuer. Even he couldn't believe how crazy it sounds. "Boss did you and him?" asked a perplexed Machu but the response he got made him retreat in his shell.     

"No! What the fuck!" said Qie Ranzhe disbelieving of this situation, not that it was bad having a kid with Feng Zi. He just couldn't think of a way that could be possible. They never slept together even if they did it wouldn't result in a pregnancy. It wasn't anatomically possible.     

"Maybe you should ask him," said Machu trying to keep his focus on driving.     

Qie Ranzhe massaged the space between his brows and sighed deeply before saying, "Even if I ask him its pointless because he doesn't remember anything about the night he got me drunk." He felt a wave of complicated feelings but one thing was certain. How ever it happened he still had to take responsibility of Feng Zi.
