Leaning down to pick up the bag from the ground, Mimi placed it on a table, then flashed Tobias and the woman an unreadable smile.

"Don't mind me. I just stopped by to see if we could have lunch together. But since you have company over, I should…"

"No!" Tobias grabbed her arm, his eyes possessing a wild look. "Stay."

The woman was shocked by Tobias's sudden anxious behavior. She looked at the young man who entered and narrowed her eyes.

When Tobias realized the woman's stare was on Mimi, his dark eyes held emptiness as they lifted to meet the woman's gaze. Such dark eyes caused the woman to take a step back tensely. She had forgotten what type of person the man before her was.

"Leave." Tobias's voice was as cold as his eyes.

The woman's eyes widened slightly, and she couldn't help but look between the two.

Who was this boy?

Lifting her chin, the woman swayed her hips toward the door, not before casting a seductive smile Tobias's way. However, from the beginning, his eyes remained cold and callous. It was as if she stayed a second longer he would kill her without hesitation. The thought made her shiver as she quickened her steps and left the office.

The moment the door closed, Tobias quickly turned around to confront the gloomy person beside him.

"Mimi, I—"

Before he had the chance to finish, he felt her little tongue reached into his mouth, twisting around in exploration. She said nothing as she came on like a starved animal.

"Mimi—" He gently pushed her away to speak, only for her to attack his lips again. Tobias stiffened at the intrusion as the desire in his eyes thickened.

The thirst he had tried to resist was back in full force thanks to Mimi's aggressive gesture.

This time, he willingly gave in to her kiss. On the contrary, he followed his heart's desires and deepened the kiss even further, completely indulging himself in the girl before him.

Mimi kept her lips sealed over Tobias's while pushing him back until the man bumped into the desk. Breathing heavily, Tobias grabbed hold of her waist, instinctually afraid she might leave him.

When Mimi's hand slid down to the bulge in his pants, Tobias's groan echoed through the office. He tried to move, but it felt as if invisible threads tied down his body. He felt himself growing big and hard under the girl's touch. From the beginning, she never unzipped his pants. Just felt him beneath the fabric. Taunting him.

Suddenly, Mimi's rubbing turned into grabbing as she gripped tightly to his burning member. She could feel his erection grow larger and harder. She knew he was about to burst wide open. When Mimi suddenly ended the deep kiss, she looked up at Tobias. She smiled. Her eyes clear, bright, like a fox eyeing its prey.

"If you ever let another person touch you again, man or woman…I will punish you far worse than today." Mimi gently bit his bottom lip and one last time tightened her hold on his member before stepping back.

Her eyes roamed at the large bulge in his pants and smiled. "Enjoy your lunch."

Breathing heavily, Tobias's burning eyes watched the girl walk out of his office without a second glance. When it was clear she had deliberately left him to suffer, his lips curled coldly, the veins on his hand pulsing.

"That girl…" He chuckled low and sexy, his gaze shifting to the painful condition within his pants.

Groaning, he had no choice but to handle the situation on his own. And right before a meeting too.

…

Hours after work, Tobias dragged himself home. From the moment Mimi left, and throughout his meetings, dark looming clouds hovered over him.

Upon entering his apartment, his eyes locked on a pair of men's shoes. A very small pair of men's shoes. Without removing his shoes or coat, Tobias rushed into the flat. Sure enough, laying on his sofa, eyes closed and surrounded by plates of food, was Mimi.

With his dark eyes staring straight at her, he walked over to the figure on the couch. Tobias carefully leaned down to pick her up – hoping he wouldn't disturb her rest.

Usually, Mimi was a deep sleeper, but it just so happened the moment he enclosed her in his arms, she stirred awake. With her arms still wrapped around his neck, she looked up with drowsy eyes and pouted.

Walking to the bedroom, Tobias gently set her on the bed, only for Mimi to sit up with her legs and arms crossed. Even though her eyes were still drowsy and her hair was scattered all about, her expression couldn't hide her displeasure.

She was still upset with him.

"So? Who was that woman? I want her name, age, address, and credit card information."

"Mimi…" Tobias sighed.

"Fine. Forget the rest, just her name. I can find what I need with just that."

Tobias's dark eyes gazed at her quietly, his hands resting in his pant pockets. After a moment of staring at one another, he sighed softly and kneeled before her, his hands clasping hers.

"Nothing happened between that woman and I."

"Liar. I saw her kiss you." Mimi scowled with angry eyes.

"Do you think I'd let anyone other than you kiss me so easily?" Tobias's voice was deep but soft.

"That depends."

"On?"

"On what type of person she is. She could be just like me and suddenly attack you when you're off guard!"

Tobias's heart softened and he stroked her smooth, round cheeks lovingly.

"Around everyone except you, I am always on guard."

"Even Alec?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.

Tobias chuckled. "Especially him."

While the man continued to stroke her cheek softly, Mimi's heart had yet to ease. Even with his soft-hearted jokes.

If Tobias said that woman didn't kiss him, then she believed it. The man was not one to lie. Instead, he would rather avoid the question and change subjects.

Just like he did when she asked who the woman was.

"Tobias?"

"Hmm?" He continued caressing her cheek while keeping his eyes on her.

"Who was that woman?"

Despite his gentle movements, Mimi saw his gaze darken.

Neither of them broke the silence. Instead, they took in the stillness to stare at each other, both reflecting on their own thoughts.

"That woman…" Tobias's deep voice was the first to break the silence.

Mimi's eyes fixed on him, mentally preparing herself for the words he was about to say. From what she saw before, she knew she wasn't going to like it.

Tobias gripped her hands and took in a deep breath.

"Her name is Robin Tsosie, she's...someone I use to be in a relationship with."

Mimi's breath hitched and her eyes narrowed. Although she expected this answer, she hadn't expected it to hurt so much. However, his words confused her a little.

"You mean like a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship?" Mimi's brows furrowed.

Stiffly, Tobias shook his head. "We were never in a romantic relationship. Neither of us loved each other we just…"

"So you were fuck buddies," Mimi stated simply.

Tobias seemed to tense at the term, but he didn't deny it. His head lowered. With his eyes hidden, Mimi was unable to see the expression on his face. However, that was more than enough for her to know he felt shame.

"…Before I told you about my father and how things were complicated between us. At the time, I did a lot of bad things with a group of people I thought I could trust, but…"

Seeing the emptiness in his eyes, Mimi's heart felt uncomfortable. Leaning forward, she kissed his nose, eyes, and then lips tenderly. She deliberately distracted him from his thoughts and prove to him just how much she loved him. Her fingers held onto his tightly while their foreheads rested together.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to," Lifting one hand to touch his cheek, Mimi smiled, flashing the set of deep dimples. "Whether she was someone you slept with in the past, as long as you're with me now, I don't care. Just stay with me."

Hearing her words, Tobias's heart and soul stirred. At that moment, he held Mimi's head in his hands and pulled her into a fiery and passionate kiss, suddenly needing to feel her close to him.

Mimi willingly accepted his kiss and smiled. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them, and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.

Tobias loosened his hold on her a little. When he broke the kiss, Mimi felt him pull her into his embrace. His chin rested on top of her head. His arms clenched her tighter.

"I love you…" Tobias held onto her tightly as he murmured softly.

With her cheek resting on his chest, Mimi broke out into a beaming smile. Her hand patted his back.

"Mm, I love you too." She snuggled into his embrace.

There had been silence for a moment before Tobias took in a deep breath and pulled her closer.

"One day...I'll tell you."

It took Mimi a moment to process his words. Once she did, her smile turned faint.

"Okay." Were the only words she could say.

"I-I realize the more I try to hide everything the more I hurt you." She could hear the strain in his husky voice. "I don't want to hurt you, Mimi. But...I can't. Not yet."

Mimi fell silent. She didn't say anything nor reassure him again. She was just silent and enjoyed being in his warm embrace. For a little while, this was the closest she could ever be with him.
