Chasing After My Wife

HE IS DEAD

HE IS DEAD

The loud screams and shrieks of the students were making Jillyanna go deaf on her seat. She didn't expect it, much less from everyone.

His action was swift and fluid, making him look like an actor filming a movie or series. The students had their hearts in their hearts while watching the two of them.

In Jillyanna's case, she was blushing from embarassment. She leaned closer to him and buried her face on his chest. She didn't want to see anyone right now. She didn't want to show her face.

"You're not fair at all." Jillyanna mumbled on his chest, her warm breath tickling him and his heart.

"You asked me for a prize and I gave you one. Why am I still unfair?" Travis retorted with his natural shameless face. If someone asked what's shameless, Jillyanna would let that person see Travis. He's the meaning of shameless.

"You could actually give it at home? You don't need to flaunt our relationship with everyone. Don't you pity the singles here?"

Everyone was speechless this time. They thought she's say something touching or sweet. Who would've thought that she would attack the audience.

Travis chuckled at her statement and hugged her tightly. Many students took out their camera and took pictures of them being sweet and lovey-dovey in front of them.

Students from different departments gathered together and watched the couple interact with each other.

"Are they filming?"

"Who's the actor and actress?"

"From which entertainment?"

"What's this filming for? Which movie or series?"

"The woman looked familiar. Isn't that goddess YNA?"

"It's her?"

"Are you sure?"

Murmurs and whispers erupted on the ground. Students were shoving to see who were the people that caught their attention. Some professors even came to see what was going on.

Seeing the chaos that they caused, Travis stood up and returned the book to the student. "Thank you." He simply stated and pulled Jillyanna up. "Let's go?"

"Hn." Jillyanna was still looking at her feet on the ground to hide her face.

Travis knew it was time to stop his teasing and save her face. He hugged her tightly and they walked back to their car in slow steps. Jackie was following right behind them with a helpless smile.

She admired Travis so much. She was happy that Jillyanna found the right man for her. The man who accepted her flaws and her imperfections. The man who understood her the most. The man who loved the people that she cared for. The man who's willing to give up his life for her.

'She's kind and because of that, she's blessed. I'm glad that he made it back for her and their baby.' Jackie thought while watching the couple in front of her.

Jillyanna turned around and saw Jackie with a faint smile. "Don't hurry yourself. We are not having a race." Jillyanna stated which stopped Jackie in her track.

She looked at her sister who understood her the most. For Jackie, Jillyanna was more like a twin than Riley. Riley could tell what Jackie was feeling from her facial expressions. But Jillyanna could tell what she was thinking from every little details. She was very observant and it seemed like she can see through your disguise.

"I'm fine sis. I was just thinking about your suggestion earlier." Jackie stated in a soft voice. "I thought of giving it a shot but I'm also a bit reluctant."

Travis looked at Jackie before shifting his gaze to his wife. "There's always a way if you want to do it. Anything is possible as long as you won't give up."

"You think so?" Jackie asked hesitantly knowing that she did so many things in the past.

While they chat, they reached their car as well. Travis opened the door and let Jillyanna in. Jackie sat on the front seat with the driver beside her.

"Take me as an example." Travis commented after he took a seat beside his wife. " Many things happened between me and your sister. Yet we are here together because we chose to fight for it and didn't give up."

"Hn. I'll keep that in mind. I'll think about your suggestions." Jackie responded with a smile.

Seeing that she wasn't comfortable with the topic, Jillyanna and Travis stopped talking about it.

"By the way, I'll have to go for check up tomorrow. You will have to see your therapist too. Shall we leave in the morning?" Jillyanna asked Travis beside her.

"It's up to you." Travis stated, allowing her to make decision for them. Jillyanna just nodded her head while holding his hand.

"Why don't we go to -"

Jillyanna was interrupted with her ringing phone. She pulled it out from her bag and saw Winter's name on the screen.

"Let me answer your cousin." Jillyanna told Travis before she pressed the answer button.

What greeted her was Winter's sobs and hiccups. "Jill...I lost him..I lost him..."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Jillyanna asked her since she couldn't understand what her friend was talking.

Winter cried loudly, Travis could even hear her sorrowful cries and hiccups. Memories flashed through his mind like a recording.

Winter was crying when she broke his violin and Gabriel came to her rescue. Winter was crying because she felt tired but Travis won't piggyback her so, Gabriel came to her rescue. Winter was crying after they got kidnapped. Winter cried because she can't remember anything. Winter cried because she broke her heart and Gabriel called him to rescue her.

Travis snatched her phone and talked to his cousin. "Who did you lose? Where's Gabriel?"

Hearing his voice asking about Gabriel, Winter cried even more. "He's gone."

These two words were like a bucket of cold water being poured at them. Jillyanna was shocked from the news. "

The man who was outstanding and strong is gone?" she couldn't believe it. Travis couldn't believe. No one could believe it.

"If I don't see his body, I won't believe he's dead." Travis stated coldly before giving back the phone to Jillyanna.
