Chasing After My Wife

THROUGH BACK DOOR?

THROUGH BACK DOOR?

With Jillyanna and Shein working together, it would not take a week to wipe their carefree lives. They would give you a chace to strike back and that chance will be used against you with twice the revenge.

People had come to know that it would be foolish to clash with Jillyanna or with her friends and family. She wouldn't show any mercy at all. They cheerful and harmless girl was gone. They could no longer find traces of the goddess that they have been supporting all these years. Nevertheless, they showed understanding. After all, she was having a hard time keeping her enemies at bay and taking care of her husband.

However, foolish people will always be foolish if they won't experience the real deal. There were people who just don't learn the lesson from other's experience and that they needed to deal with it personally.

Riley went out to get some coffee for her and Wynwyn. They were currently having a photoshoot outdoor for the jewelry advertisement that she got. Wynwyn helped her a lot but the other artists didn't envy her at all. They have equal resources but Riley was just starting and she needed help. Unlike the other artists and managers, they could hunt for jobs but Riley didn't know that and Wynwyn was taking every step for Riley to learn.

"Hey! I heard that the new artist from J Entertainment got in through back door." whispered a girl who was eating her strawberry cake.

"Huh! Those without talents would really do that." the other girl replied.

Riley had her back facing them as she ordered so they didn't know she was there. When she got her coffee, she took a glance at the girls and remembered their faces. 'Huh, let's see who's got no talent.' She snickered mentally before leaving the cafe. She noted their facial features so she can ask Wynwyn for their identities later.

The cafe wasn't very far from the park they were having their photoshoot. Everyone was still taking a break before they would resume with their work.

"Oh! Riley, why didn't you tell us you want to get some coffee? We could've bought it for you." one of the cameramen spoke to her upon seeing her flushed face from too much heat under the sun.

Riley smiled sweetly as she walked back to her tent where Wynwyn was waiting. "Thank you for your concern I will let you know next time."

Wynwyn heard their conversation, stopped typing on her laptop and raised her head to look at her. "Do you want to get an assistant?"

"Nope. What's the assistant for when I can do things myself? I am not even a big name in this industry so why get an assistant." she placed one iced coffee on the table for Wynwyn and took a paper and pencil.

Wynwyn didn't bother her since she was busy doodling to relax herself. After some time, she noticed that she drew two women on the paper.

"Do you know these people?" Riley asked before sipping her coffee. She showed Wynwyn her drawing to let her see the faces clearly. Even though it was just drawn with a pen, the features were very distinct and it was so clear that you can guess their identities immediately - that is if you know them.

"These are the artist from Zircon. They aren't really big shots but they're well-known as well. Why do you ask?"

"Nothing. Is Zircon a friend company or our competitor?"

"Our competitor. Travis and the owner of Zircon don't get along ever since we started. We had a hard time because of them as well. Good thing that Travis found a way to get the company off from its shackles."

"I see. What are their names?"

"This girl with a chinky eyes is Erica and the other girl with a large eyes is Hana. "

Wynwyn didn't know why Riley took interests of these girls but she didn't ask her either. She let her take a few more minutes of rest before they start working again.

In a short amount of time, Riley got what she wanted. She then asked Shein to find out the upcoming jobs of the two girls. She would make sure that they will never get any job opportunities again.

If Jillyanna was merciless, what do you expect from the people she trained. In fact, they weren't really that bad but they just don't let people bully them. If you allow them to bully you once, they would do it twice and thrice until you'd lost count to the times you get bullied. If you don't want that to happen, protect yourself.

Shein saved all information that he got for Riley. He didn't even spent half an hour to get all of them.

"What's keeping you busy? I thought you want to take a break." Jillyanna asked him with a sly smile. "Riley." She answered her own question.

"Sis?"

"Hn?"

"Do you think she's having a hard time with her work? I know that working in an entertainment industry can be tiring and your peers will even plot something against you. They would ruin each other and compete for resources. I'm worried for her."

Jillyanna sighed and reached out to pat his back gently. "No need to worry. Riley can perfectly take care of herself. If she needs help, then we will help her. At the same time, J Entertainment is like a close-knitted family. They protect each other and they don't compete with each other, they compete with their enemies."

"Earlier, she sent me a message to look into someone. She even asked me to check their upcoming jobs."

"Ask her when she gets home. I'm pretty sure she has reasons. She's not a bully but, if she's wrongfully accused of doing something she didn't, she will strike back."

"I just wish she won't have a hard time with her new work."

"Believe in your girl, she's not a weakling." Jillyanna smiled teasingly at the man in front of her.
