Chasing After My Wife

SHEIN'S LITTLE REVENGE

SHEIN'S LITTLE REVENGE

In the afternoon, Shein sent Riley to the photoshoot location before going to Venus Plaza to work. He was the eye and ears of Travis inside the company and he dealt with some company affairs to make sure that everything will run smoothly while his sister and brother-in-law stay in the hospital.

Wynwyn was staying with Riley so there wasn't anything that he'd worry about at. He traced back her location last night and found the night club that she went to.

Shein checked all the CCTV cameras, in and out of the night club, to make sure that he'd get the details of the men who hurt his girlfriend.

He even saw the fight that occured the night before which caused her to get bruises on her back. He watched it over and over and found why she didn't evade the attack behind her.

She was busy taking the man down who touched her bag and didn't care about the person who was sneaking an attack. Though the man was still knocked down, it was after she got hit on her back.

Shein noted all the men involved including the people who harassed her inside the night club.

Mr. Li, Lickon and JV were still sleeping peacefully due to hangover without knowing the brewing storm hovering above their head.

Shein was digging up their dirts and was compiling everything for a great show. "You shouldn't have touched what is mine." Shein mumbled as his fingers danced on the keyboard in a fast rhythmic sound. He was like a pianist playing his piano in a fast tempo. Only he knows what he was doing with his computer - with all the dialogue box and small windows opening and closing, he's got so many information on the three men.

'Knock! Knock! Knock!'

"Shein, here's the files that needed the signature of our chairman. Thanks for helping us out." Mr. Sandoval's secretary gave him a small flash drive which he placed inside the small pocket of his bag.

"I'll take care of this. But you'll probably get it on Monday."

"That's fine."

"Okay."

Seeing that he was busy, the secretary left in silence. It was good enough that she can get those files signed before Wednesday next week.

When the woman left, Shein continued to do his very important task as a consolation gift to his bruised girlfriend.

Riley didn't know anything at all. She was busy preparing for her photoshoot and Shein didn't call her to say something either.

She was just doing her job as an upstart actress. There was a short interview that would feature her in MAGZ next month's edition and her relationship status will never be missing in this kind of interview.

"You said that you are willing to work with Tyler once again but you didn't want to become a lover team, do you have someone special which was the reason that you didn't want to have a love team?" The journalist asked with a smile on her face.

Riley didn't care though. She was willing to admit that there is someone but she would never tell them who. She didn't want Shein to be dragged into the entertainment circle.

"There is someone special but it is not because of him that I am avoiding a love team. I just don't want to be paired with anyone. Aside from that, I don't want to be hated by all the ladies out there for taking their husbands away. Don't you think so?"

"Right. Many fan girls would get their heart broken if you are paired with their idol. Aside from these, many people wanted to know how you got inside the entertainment circle. Can you tell us about your journey?"

Riley smiled at the camera while thinking back how Wynwyn invited her. "It wasn't anything special. I came to visit my sister when Wynwyn came and saw me. I don't know what she saw in me but she insisted that I'd give it a try - joining J Entertainment that is. I honestly don't know that my sister is somewhat related to the company because we only knew that she was managing a small cafe."

"Wynwyn is the head of J Entertainment's PR Department. Did you feel that you are special because she is your manager?"

"I don't know if I should feel special. Like any other artist in J Entertainment, I have to fight for resources, too. I don't see any difference."

Riley answered honestly but anyone couldn't point out any mistake with her answer at all. She was just being honest with how she felt which made it difficult to hate her.

Around three in the afternoon, when the interview was over, Riley changed her dress to her normal clothes while Wynwyn stayed outside the room to guard her door.

Wynwyn was busy cursing and laughing scornfully as she watched the news on her phone. "Good for you! It's a karma, b*tches!"

She was watching the news of the three men getting arrested for using illegal drugs, forcing women to have sex with them, drugging women, killing women who went against their wishes, beating people, and many other issues that was listed by the person who posted the news. There were many evidences attached to it which made it even more difficult to deal with.

Shein didn't just post it, he sent the files directly to Lucian, together with the current location of the three men.

When Lucian and his colleagues arrived, the place was messy and several used condoms were strewn on the floor. The three men were still sleeping and a woman was shivering in fear at the farthest corner, away from them.

Her eyes were empty, pale faced, and there were bruises all over her body. Officer David, came to her and draped his coat over her.

Lucian hauled the men which startled the life out of them. "Knees on the ground! Hands on your back!" Lucian shouted angrily at them.

If it were not for Shein, they wouldn't know anything about these scums.
