Chasing After My Wife

One hour before the wedding would start, people started pouring inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Sain Vitalis. Family, friends, business partners, artists, and people from different walks of life came one after another.     

The church wasn't heavily guarded since it was a sanctuary of God and they believed that Jillyanna's enemies won't take action inside the place.     

Though there weren't that many guards, Shein's small cameras can see all nook and cranny of the place. It was a high definition cameras so everyone looked very clear in front of his screen.     

They arrived earlier and he was currently waiting for Savannah inside the car. They already planned to have Savannah monitor the place since she was assigned with the security matters. Once the wedding is done, Shein will take over and keep all securities in check at the reception.     

The bride's maids were supposed to come first but Winter and Jackie stayed with Jillyanna to make sure that they can fight an ambush. In fact, it was the only wedding were bride's maids and groom's men were secretly armed.     

Forty minutes before the wedding, Top drove the limousine in front of Jillyanna's house. Jade, Winter, Jackie and Jillyanna went inside. They were the last to leave the house.     

Jade was sitting beside her mother and her hand kept touching the ruby on the center of her chest. "Mommy, are we returning this gown to the man who made them?"     

"Nope. This is ours. Why?"     

"Oh, that's great! I really thought I'd have to let go of this beautiful dress." Jade responded happily. She really liked it because it was matching to Jillyanna's wedding dress and she didn't want to let go of such piece.     

If Jade was busy touching the stone, Jackie was busy touching on the knives hidden beneath her dress. Her eyes kept looking at the sceneries outside to makes sure that no one can approach Jillyanna.     

Actually, their worry was grounded. Their enemy can easily ambush them. However, they never imagined their enemies to be idiots. Ryden didn't know about the ceremonial belief of separating the man and woman before the wedding day. He never anticipated that Travis will leave the house. He didn't know as well that Jillyanna would go to the church with all women, except Top, around her. He was foolish enough to focus all his men to the hotel reception. His men were equally foolish and idiots because they didn't think of that as well.     

Therefore, Jillyanna arrived at the church without any problems.     

Savanna was currently sitting inside the van that Shein brought. Inside her monitors and speakers showing the church view from different angles.     

Quarter and hour before the wedding starts, all the entourage were ready and have lined up with their partners. The ring bearer and the bible bearer were from Winter's family. Though she hated her family, she couldn't change the fact that they were still relatives to Travis. She doesn't have any grudges to her nephew so she still smiled at them whenever they would greet her.     

"Whose daughter is that pretty little girl? She's very lovely." one of the guests whispered to her colleague.     

"I don't know. I haven't seen that child."     

"Her eyes looked like someone I knew from city B." one of the men murmured.     

"Travis and Jillyanna don't have relatives in city B. That's impossible."     

"She is really cute."     

Jade was standing behind the two boys and she was smiling towards the guests while holding her basket of flowers.     

"Look at her smile! She's very cute!"     

"Whoever the parents of this child are very lucky."     

The two little boys turned towards Jade since she garnered so many attention. They wanted to know who she was.     

"Hi! I am Jemson Avery and this is my cousin Kyle Avery. Little sister, what is your name?" Jemson asked politely, still holding the heart shaped pillow which contained the wedding rings.     

"My name is Jade Venus Madrigal. Nice to meet you."     

Not only Jemson and Kyle but, the guests got confused as well. They knew that Thomas had one son and that was Travis. They knew that Travis didn't have a daughter. And most of all, she was named after his mother Venus Avery Madrigal.     

"She is a Madrigal? And she is, at most, five or six years old. Did Travis fool around before? I don't think he is that kind of man."     

"How did Travis get a beautiful daughter?"     

Because Jade was named after Venus, everybody almost thought that Jade was a hidden daughter of Travis which was really funny.     

"If you are Uncle Travis' daughter, then that makes us cousins." Jemson spoke once again. Kyle was just watching them talk to each other.     

Jade was about to respond when the bell rang to indicate the start of the wedding. The violinists and pianist started the wedding song which was Canon in D major composed by Johann Pachelbel started already.     

Jemson and Kyle went back to their position and counted from one to three before taking a step forward. They were smiling happily to the guests and all pictures taken were loved by the photographers.     

Jade took a handful of petals and threw them every step of the way. She was clearly enjoying her task and all the guests were really curious to her identity. She was so pretty and her eyes were full of life. She looked like a flower fairy in her pictures and the photographer couldn't stop taking pictures of her.     

"I'll try asking Mr. and Mrs. Madrigal if their daughter can model for me. She is really a star." the photographer murmured while looking at the pictures he got.     

When his team was contacted to do the take video and pictures on the wedding, he was really grateful that someone likes their works. And now, his happiness was doubled because he found a cute little muse.     

The reason why he knew she was the Madrigal's daughter was because of her hair and dress. Jillyanna was already standing behind the door with her father and before he came inside he saw the style of her dress and hair. Among all the entourage, only the little girl matched up with Jillyanna's style.
