Return Back to Hua Shan Academy

Return Back to Hua Shan Academy

"Do you want to drink wine too? Hiks," Lin Cai could barely hold her cup as she nudged Qi Huan. Lu Wan was already half dead right beside him because he was fighting for food with Lin Cai.

Qi Huan waved his hand. "No, thank you, I'm still underage."

"No need to worry about age…."

Wang Jun smiled wryly. He was watching from the other side of the table. The proud and beautiful Lin Cai was now drunk. It was truly a view that one couldn't see if they were not close to each other.

"Senior Brother Qin, Senior Sister Ye," Mu Xin called from behind. "The food is more or less cleaned. Should we return back?"

Qin Zheng turned around and nodded. "Sure."

"Ok."

…

After they returned back to Hua Shan Academy, Qin Zheng reported the mission and received the reward. They would get contribution points for their mission. This time, it was just a lower ranked mission, so they just got 12 points each.

"It's so little." Lin Cai's face was ugly. She has sobered because a certain someone threw her into the river to wake her up. There was still a lingering smell of wine on her clothes, but it was not too apparent.

"If you want more points, you need to complete a high ranked mission and your opponent will be those at rank 5." Qin Zheng pointed at the board. "You're already in this academy for years, so you're allowed to accept them."

"I'll die if I truly do that." Lin Cai rolled her eyes. "Forget it. I want to train in the Windy Valley, so see you all later."

Hua Shan Academy also has some training areas that were designed based on some environments. It was extremely useful for those who have a certain elemental affinity. Since Lin Cai was an earth and wind element, she often went there to familiarize herself with her specialization.

"I'll go accept some killing mission," Qi Huan shrugged. "I can't really train in the academy."

"Don't you need to learn how to control your specialization first?" Ye Jiao asked.

Qi Huan shrugged. "That's for later. I need to hone my rusty skills first."

Lu Wan: "…" rusty skill? That killing intent is already more than enough to scare a lot of beasts at rank 3 away.

"Besides, I'm still very weak," Qi Huan's gaze glanced over to Qin Zheng's direction. He would need to work much harder if he wished to catch up to Qin Zheng. "When I return back, I'll ask for a spar, Jiao'er."

"Alright," Ye Jiao readily agreed.

"We'll return back to the Inner Disciple section and start training," Mu Xin and Wang Jun excused themselves. In the first place, they could only join the team because Ye Jiao invited them. If not, there would be no way that they could come here.

Lu Wan yawned. "I want to review the herbs that I got first. See you all later."

"Ok."

Ye Jiao looked at Qin Zheng. "I'll be going first. We'll spar at some other time, Senior Brother Qin.

"Sure." Qin Zheng also turned around. He still needed a lot of training if he wished to become stronger.

After bidding her farewell, Ye Jiao headed to Elder Qian's office. She found the middle-aged man was sitting there, inspecting an unfamiliar array in front of him.

"Master, I have returned back."

"I heard that," Elder Qian nodded and turned his head to Ye Jiao. The Mission Hall sent him news that his disciple had returned, so he already knew. "Don't you want some rest after your mission?"

"I already have some rest," Ye Jiao scratched the back of her head. She would not tell the elder that Lin Cai drank wine, though. It would be up for Teacher Shen Dian to discover. "I want to report that I have already managed to form a complete rune."

"You have?" Elder Qian's eyes widened in astonishment. He was sure that he gave this task to Ye Jiao around one to two months ago. How did she finish his assignment so quickly? Moreover, she shouldn't have enough Eon Energy to form them with her current rank.

"Yes."

"Show me."

"Ok," Ye Jiao concentrated. Once she felt that she was ready, her hand began to move. This was already the nth time she created this shield, so she was highly familiar with the Eon Energy route. Even though she was only successful two times, it was already more than enough.

Eon Energy flew at rapid speed as the shield was forming in front of Ye Jiao. Elder Qian was watching with astonishment as he watched Ye Jiao slowly created the runes. When the last stroke completed the rune, he could feel the strong defensive power from the runes in front of him.

"I'm done, Master." Ye Jiao grinned.

Elder Qian nodded his head. He looked at the runes with partial disbelief. Her speed in forming alone was already topnotch. It might be slower than him, but he himself was already a light green Rune Master, which meant that he was already in the middle of the ranking.

Ye Jiao's speed alone would be able to match against those who were orange or even yellow ranking.

"You're good, Jiao'er. Starting from now, you'll learn how to form all basic runes," Elder Qian concluded.

"All 100 of them?" Ye Jiao was stunned.

"Yes. Light Red Rune Master can create at least one runes and form one array. By your current ability, you're already Light Red Enhancement Master since you already managed to form one rune," Elder Qian pointed to the shield.

Ye Jiao blinked her eyes. Ah, right, she nearly forgot that Rune Masters were those who learned both Array and Enhancement. Enhancement required runes. They were either formed in the air or into a weapon or other things to enhance their ability.

"Light Orange Rank Enhancement Master can create any runes from the 100 basic runes. Orange Rank Enhancement Master can create at least 10 Intermediate runes. In comparison, Dark Orange Rank can create 100 basic and 100 Intermediate runes," Elder Qian told Ye Jiao the requirement. "For now, strive to create all the basic runes and the basic for arrays."

"Yes, Master!"

"Now, you can leave."

Elder Qian shook his head slightly as Ye Jiao walked out of his office. He had to admit that Ye Jiao's learning speed was insane. It wouldn't take long before that girl surpassed him if this continued.

He stroked his beard and smiled. His disciple is truly amazing.
