[TSK.]

Luna immediately clicked her tongue when she saw another Crades trying to get out of the ancient magic circle. The top of the flesh-eating monster's head was coming out of it.

[Not under my watch.]

Thanks to the Mana and additional life force that she had stolen from the Royal Archmage, she was able to use a powerful offense spell.

She gave the Crades a drop-kick, causing it to growl angrily as if it was in pain.

That should be the case since Luna's leg was covered in an offense spell. She moved her leg easily, but it actually weighed a ton when it hit the Crades' head. It wouldn't be an exaggeration that at that brief moment, her foot became as heavy as a mountain.

Hence, the flesh-eating monster was pushed back heavily with just one drop-kick from her.

BLERGH.

Luna coughed up blood, feeling the recoil of using high-level offense magic.

[It's okay. I expected this much.]

She was just about to drop to her knees and press her hands against the magic circle when, all of a sudden, a winged Crades came out of it.

[No!]

The flesh-eating monster that sneakily came out of the magic circle was very similar to an adult wyvern. But it exuded an ominous aura. Moreover, it reeked of blood.

[That bastard is dangerous!]

Luna tried to chase the Crades, but she stopped when she saw a familiar face flying towards the winged monster.

It was Noel Sherwood, the captain of the Blue Dragon Knights.

[Did he follow me here?]

"We figured the ancient magic circle is currently the most dangerous place in the capital, so the other captains sent me after you because I'm the fastest," Noel Sherwood explained. His voice was carried over by the wind, the element that he controlled, so Luna was able to hear him properly despite the distance. "I'll deal with the winged Crades and protect you. Hence, please focus on deactivating the ancient magic circle."

Luna just nodded in response since she wasn't sure if Noel Sherwood would be able to hear her answer.

After that, she saw the captain attack the winged monster.

[He can handle it alone.]

Luna immediately touched the ancient magic circle with her hands.

She couldn't deactivate it right away, but she had enough power to at least create a barrier to block the Crades from getting out.

The barrier that she created looked like a fishing net.

[An unbreakable fishing net, that is.]

Well, for now.

To be honest, it was a bit scary because she could see the ugly giant Crades on the other side of the net. Thanks to the barrier, she couldn't hear them. However, she could tell that the monsters were all growling and aiming at her.

[They're famished, so they definitely see me as food.]

Luna shook her head and tried her best to ignore the Crades.

"Lady Luna?"

Huh?

Luna looked up when she heard an unfamiliar voice call her name cautiously.

[That face…]

She recognized the man above her even though they rarely saw each other.

"Lord Solaris?" Luna said carefully. "What is the Fire Archmage doing here?"

"I am here under the Supreme's order," Solaris said in a formal tone while descending. "And to deliver a "package" for you, Lady Luna."

"Lady Tilly sent me a package?"

The Fire Archmage just nodded, then he snapped his fingers.

And then, just like that, a huge block of ice appeared in front of Luna.

Ah, right.

[Fire Mages are mages, too. Hence, they can use spells such as storing a huge item in their spatial pocket or something…]

She trailed off when she noticed that there was a person inside the huge block of ice.

Luna's eyes widened in shock, and she gasped. "Is that Elis Ripperton…?"

The Blue Dragon?!

"MOMMY, Daddy!"

"Mother, Father."

Tilly smiled when her babies ran up to them.

Winter immediately hugged her and Kiho. Julian, on the other hand, just stood in front of them and slightly bowed.

[My children are polar opposites, indeed.]

One was playful while the other was too mature for his age.

[I don't care if Julian has already lived a full life– he'll always be a baby in my eyes.]

"Welcome back, little rascal," Kiho said affectionately while ruffling Winter's hair. Then he opened his arm and called for their other son. "Come here, Julian."

Tilly smiled and motioned for Julian to come closer.

Julian blushed, then he moved closer to them shyly.

"Why are you being shy, Brother?" Winter asked, laughing. Then he grabbed Julian by the hand and pulled him close. "Mommy and Daddy are affectionate people, so you must get used to their cheesiness starting now!"

Hmm?

[Did Winter just diss us?]

Tilly was about to tease Winter when, suddenly, the floating island shook.

Kiho immediately carried Winter and Julian in his arms while gently telling her to grab him.

Her husband didn't have to say that.

Tilly's first instinct was to hug Kiho to support him as he carried their children.

[What was that…?]

"Ah, right. The Keepers are keeping this island afloat," Wixx, her brother that they had almost forgotten, said while looking at the tallest building in the floating island. "Their flame must have hit its limit already."

Then…

Tilly gasped out loud. "Is the island going to crash?!"

THUD.

Luna was still in the middle of processing the fact that Solaris delivered Elis Ripperton to her under the Supreme's order when, all of a sudden, Noel Sherwood crashed near her.

The captain of the Blue Dragon Knights looked heavily injured.

She was slightly worried about Noel Sherwood, but she was more concerned about the Ancient Crades. Hence, she looked up to check on it.

[Whew.]

She was relieved to see that the winged monster was immobile while suspended in the air.

"It's hard to kill," Noel Sherwood, who just got up, said while limping towards Luna. "In the meantime, my Spirit Guardian has immobilized it. But it won't be for long, so…" He trailed off while looking at the huge block of ice. "Is that my ancestor?"

Right.

[Noel Sherwood has descended from the Blue Dragon's bloodline.]

"Yes, it is the Blue Dragon," Solaris said, nodding. "The Supreme Fire Mage asked me to deliver the Blue Dragon to either Lady Luna or the captain of the Blue Dragon Knights."

Luna knitted her eyebrows. "Did Lady Tilly say something else?"

"The Supreme said you may punish the Blue Dragon in the most ruthless way possible."

Oh.

[That sounds like Tilly, alright.]

"Excuse me," Noel Sherwood said politely. "May I know why my ancestor's skin is like that?"

Right?

Luna also wondered why Elis Ripperton's skin had turned blue when his scales weren't even out.

Fortunately, Solaris responded right away. "The Moon Serpent bit the Blue Dragon. Hence, the Blue Dragon's body is currently filled with the Moon Serpent's venom."

Noel Sherwood paused for a moment, then he laughed out loud.

[Did he suddenly lose his mind or something?]

"I have an idea," Noel Sherwood said excitedly, his eyes glowing menacingly. "Let's feed my ancestor to the Ancient Crades."

Luna almost choked on her saliva. "Wait, what?"
