I Hunt and Purge Reincarnators

When the light faded, Alex found himself in a poorly lit cave and looked around in a panicked manner. The old lady however took him into a dark room and turned off the candle she held.     

"I think I have finally found you a suitable companion...please awaken."     

The old lady seemed as if she spoke to nothing as everything was pitch black and only her voice could be heard to Alex. But soon after those words were spoken, two crimson eyes appeared in the darkness, a stomping sound that made the whole ground shake could be felt by Alex as the crimson eyes seemed to get closer and closer. Alex gulped fearfully and wanted to speak, but the old woman's voice was heard once more.     

"This is it seal bearer, this beast has very few who can match its majesty and potential. I looked after it for many years, but it never agreed to become my familiar, so I sought someone worthy of it. The main trait one must hold is a large mana pool and yours is very large, even among seal bearers. I have unique vision compared to other sensors I'm unmatched almost. That is how I came upon this ancient beast. Will you accept it or are you uninterested".     

Alex fell silent for a moment.     

'System is this creature rare?'     

[Host must upgrade to unlock scanning feature]     

'Damn, hmm she could tell I have a crazy large mana pool which means she's no ordinary old lady. This is a fortuitous encounter!'     

"I accept this great honor!"     

The old lady then replied in a sad tone.     

"*sigh* The time has come for us to finally part ways... Seal bearer, you may proceed and give it a drop of your blood."     

Alex who was confused as to why turned to his trusty system.     

'Is this how you do it System?'     

[Yes that is how the Host must begin the ritual]     

Alex smiled and placed a drop of his forward on the tip of his finger. The beast came closer and licked the drop of blood, then two magic circles appeared below it and Alex. Finally, seeing the beast in light, Alex was speechless at just how majestic. Coming from a modern work with no magic, he had never encountered such a thing before. The old lady smiled once she saw the ritual had begun, she made a magic circle appear below herself and was engulfed in light before vanishing.     

Once the ritual ended, Alex quickly begun to look for the old lady in a panicked state. Finding nothing, he soon found himself outside a cave entrance, he squinted his eyes slightly to adjust to the brightness after being in the dark so long. It had actually become morning now. Suddenly large stomps could be heard from behind him and as he turned he saw that the beast had followed him and now emerged outside the cave. Alex couldn't help but shout out in a loud voice.     

"That old bitch! Majestic my ass this is nothing more than a giant Chicken?! A literal fucking Chicken with a saddle. System how do I break this weird connection I feel towards it? No way I'll be respected with a Chicken as my familiar?! Is it even rare?!"     

[Host has successfully bonded with a fire hen.]

[Host can only break the bond if the familiar agrees or if you transfer its ownership to another Magi. Magi must have a large mana pool for this to succeed. Further information on the creature can only be accessed via scanning. System can only identify creatures if Host see's them clearly.]     

"Is this some kind of joke?! Wait system? Can this creature evolve?"     

[Yes, Host's familiar does possess this trait. Estimated time till evolution is 956 million years, But-]     

"Fucking hell?! Nope no way, this thing is practically useless, even weaker than those Mounts in Moon City. How am I supposed to fight demons riding this thing?! Fuck it I'm killing it myself, can I at least do that?!"     

[Host will suffer an extreme backlash in doing so as mana levels will decrease by a large margin if dies due to you. The host will then be unable to summon an undying spirit".     

"...*what if I hire someone to kill it or make it jump of a cliff or something"     

[As long as Host's familiar dies purposely or with you holding intent to do so, you will suffer a backlash. I suggest Host wait patiently as th-]     

"Wait?! Fu.ck no, dammit, maybe I can have a pure mana holder in New Babylonia take this creature on. After all, I'll have some power as a seal holder. Damn this is so embarrassing."     

Alex proceeded to Mount the fire hen and begun riding towards Avalon City. It took him 4 hours as the hen sometimes ran in strange directions or stopped completely, but finally he rode at a fast speed, rapidly approaching Avalon City. The guards on the wall could only see a cloud of dust approaching from afar. The head guard turned to the guard on the left tower and spoke.     

"Yorgen! What do you see?"     

The guard named Yorgen had a device that looked similar to binoculars that he used to check the dust cloud. Surprised by the discovery, he turned to the head guard and spoke.     

"Sir reporting! The cause of the dust cloud is a man riding a giant cock, sir!"     

The head guard looked at Yorgen in a confused manner.     

"A cock?"     

"Yes sir a very large cock, the man is firmly mounted on it and is rapidly approaching."     

"I don't understand Yorgen, what does it look like. Is it a demon?"     

"No sir, it's quite majestic if I must say, I've never seen a cock that big, I'm sure it feels wonderful to ride and tastes even better sir!"     

At this point the other guards gave Yorgen strange looks. The head guard had to march over to the tower and grab the device from him and see for himself.     

"It's a giant hen Yorgen, do you not know how to distinguish chicken? Your statement had your fellow guardsmen worried".     

Yorgen wasn't particularly smart and still didn't understand what he did wrong.     

As for Alex, who was riding towards the city, he sighed in relief as he spoke.     

"Haha. Finally, Avalon City!"
