I Hunt and Purge Reincarnators

Kel and Mordred appeared with a flash of light on the rooftop of a tall building overlooking the new place they had arrived in.     

"Ey Master? Where is the guy we're supposed to fight?" Mordred asked in an impatient manner while holding her large blade over her shoulder with a grin on her face.     

"He's moving towards a square not far from here, but... I'll be facing him alone. He's not your match" Kel replied in a serious tone causing Mordred to furrow her brows.     

"I'll fight will likely draw attention so I need you to make sure no one intervenes. By that I mean you're to cause an even bigger scene to attract the attention of the heroes in this world." Kel instructed before facing the northeast direction of where he stood.     

"But Master, I assure you I can face him with you!" Mordred was never one to back away from a fight so she remained insistent on fighting alongside him but he refused.     

"I used my one last physical altercations and last two mental alterations to better prepare myself. You can't help me in this fight. Just ensure no one interferes, the world will be destroyed after so don't hold back."     

Mordred no longer insisted as Kel looked serious on the matter. She simply looked at him until his body flickered and vanished from the scene. Mordred then turned her attention to a crowded market not too far away and readied her blade.     

Meanwhile at city square where numerous people had been passing, Kel appeared out of the blue and began looking around.     

No one's eyes moved fast enough to see Kel appear so they continued as they were. Kel turned his attention to a person seated on a bench. The man had Rimuru's appearance from that time I got reincarnated as a slime and wore blacks clothes and a black visor. There was no doubt it was Yami D. Black.     

Kel approached the person casually with his hands in his pockets and neutral expression on his face. Yami saw this and looked at Kel with a smirk.     

"Hm? Yes? What do you want?" Yami asked with small smile not the least bit intimidated.     

"I want to get rid of you and leave" Kel responded while looking directly at Yami who let out a chuckle.     

"Oh I see. Another Hero? Well then tell me Hero, are you ready to die for your cause?" Yami asked while slowly raising his hand towards Kel's direction.     

A/N: Yes, He talks like that. Only difference is I've made it readable.     

Kel didn't respond but instead continued to look at Yami who was about to attack.     

"Dark Wate-Arck!!" Before Yami could attack, he suddenly fell to the ground on his knees and blood spewed from his mouth.     

'What happened! I can't be hurt physically...I didn't even see him attack...' Yami looked up at Kel with disdain but Kel remained looking neutral.     

"You're probably confused as to how I hurt you. You may be near impossible to fight physically but your soul remains defenseless." Kel said in a casual manner while looking down at Yami.     

[1st Mental Alteration Chosen: SOUL MANIPULATION - The power to manipulate souls]     

A/N: Detailed applications at the end of the chapter. For all you people who like to call balls deep into abilities and go like no he should have chosen this or done that well...I'm not about to waste hours finding what you consider the perfect abilities. As long as the job is done then I'm good.     

Yami quickly recomposes himself and launches a fist at Kel which he allows to land. Kel gets sent back with massive force into a building while Yami began to laugh victoriously.     

"Haha-arck!" Almost as soon as he got up, he fell back to his knees and coughed blood while gritting his teeth in pain.     

Kel soon emerged from the dust and rubble of the building. He was bloody but no visible wounds on his body, he simply began walking back towards Yami as if nothing had occurred. But in truth his body was in excruciating pain. His immortality only ever healed him at an astonishing rate but pain remained.     

"Damn that...hurt...Sadly I can never afford to be distracted by pain when facing people like you..."     

[2nd Mental Alteration: INDOMITABLE WILL- The ability to possess indomitably strong willpower]     

Yami looked at Kel with widened eyes and decided to use his ability once more but he kept getting flashes of pain that distracted him from doing so.     

"Well then I think it's time we end this don't you?" Kel asked with his head slightly tilted.     

'The fact he was an assassin in his previous life would make one think he's smart and calculating but...he only focused on protecting himself against physical attacks and considered himself unbeatable.'     

'My abilities aren't powers that can be nullified but are alterations to my physical being...a part of me so he's unable to stop my soul attacks either...luckily for him I'm not yet adept enough to just rip out his soul...'     

"I guess that only leaves what I had prepared as my trap card..."     

"Domain Expansion" Kel declared while holding out his hand.     

The sky began to turn red and the birds began to fly in slow motion. The red atmosphere continued to spread out until the entire sky was a blood red color.     

[Physical Alteration: PURGE DOMAIN - A domain that renders people whose soul doesn't belong to that world powerless]     

Yami looked around in a panicked manner but only saw an empty city and a red atmosphere. In the blink of an eye, Kel appeared in front of Yami and placed his right hand on his head.     

"Wait! Wait!-" Yami tried to plead but was ignored.     

"Experience the pain you'd have caused..." Kel declared and his right hand glowed.     

Yami began to scream uncontrollably while blood trickled from his eyes, mouth and nose. He was being made to experience the pain he had and would have caused from the victims point of view in what felt like real time.     

As the seconds passed, Yami had already experienced years of all the inhumane things he had put people through. 10 seconds in and his mind completely broke, making him look devoid of life.     

"I suppose that's your limit....purge" Kel declared and Yami's body immediately began to vanish along with the domain.     

Kel simply turned and walked away while sighing and shaking his head. His slowly removed his gloves and looked at them with a complex expression before placing them in his pocket and exiting the domain.
