Ishi, The Legendary Stone Serpent
Ishi hissed from far away and every trace of him had disappeared, he reappeared behind Kentaro.
Ishi slammed his tail towards Kentaro. Having no time to fully avoid it, Kentaro jumped to the left in hope of minimizing the damage he would receive.
"BOOUUM!"
The hit was so powerful that it lifted Kentaro up four meters in the air.
'I have to do something, I'll die if I don't!'
Kentaro formed hand seals with incredible speed, So fast that even the old serpent Ishi was impressed.
"Earth style: Swamp Of The Underworld!"
The ground under Ishi began turning into mud at an incredible rate.
The mud soon turned into a large swamp, submerging Ishi.
Ishi began opening his mouth to hiss, but Kentaro saw him this time.
Mud being a composition made out of water and earth, Kentaro could use his water jutsu by using the existing mud source.
By purifying the water coming out of the mud, Kentaro could manipulate it easily.
"Water style: Water Chains Jutsu!"
Kentaro made five chains of water, binding them around Ishi's mouth.
Ishi was trying to get out of the swamp and it would be a matter of seconds before he succeeded.
"Earth style: Mud Ball jutsu!"
Kentaro spat numerous mud balls at Ishi. When the mud balls touched him, they would cover a pretty big surface of his skin and harden immediately.
Kentaro further impeded Ishi's movements, it was a way to gain some time to think about how to take him down.
Unfortunately Ishi was no ordinary foe, the swamp began slowly dissappearing and the water chains around Ishi's mouth were broken.
"THOSE ARE BUT MERE LITTLE TRICKS!"
Ishi was absorbing the swamp, his body got visibly bigger and more intimidating than it already was.
'Gravity style: Augmented Gravity.'
Like earlier, Kentaro felt extremely heavy and was pushed to the ground. He was not able to move.
He didn't know what kind of jutsu Ishi was using.
"YOU ARE BUT AN INSECT IN FRONT OF MY MIGHT."
Ishi began moving around Kentaro and was preparing to attack once more.
Kentaro understood one thing, this jutsu controlled gravity and only for a couple of seconds.
After five seconds the gravity was set back to normal, not pushing Kentaro down.
Kentaro entered the ground and navigated far from Ishi. When he came back to the surface he saw Ishi looking at him from far away.
'When he hisses, he teleports. When he growls, he controls... Gravity, I guess.'
Kentaro began forming hand seals this time a little bit slower. Seeing Kentaro performing hand seals, Ishi hissed while looking at Kentaro.
Kentaro had figured everything out. Just as Ishi had teleported behind him, Kentaro performed the last hand seals.
"Lightning style: Lightning Rage Jutsu!"
Kentaro slapped his two hands on the ground. This created a blast wave of lightning in a radius of fifty meters.
The ground broke and Ishi was electrocuted by the lightning.
When the lightning stopped, Ishi tried to attack Kentaro but he slapped his two hands on the ground a second time.
Ishi got electrocuted a second time and when this was happening, Kentaro jumped on top him.
Kentaro's hands gave out lightening, he placed his two hands on Ishi's gigantic head.
"HAAAAHH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING! GET OFF OF ME!"
"Lightning style: Hands Of Torture!"
From his hands, Kentaro sent several thousand volts of electricity into Ishi's body.
Ishi began moving uncontrollably because of the pain he was enduring.
"I have analyzed your Jutsus. If you could, you would have already teleported away to escape but you didn't. There is surely a cooldown and it is the same with your gravity control."
"LITTLE BRAT, AAAAAAAHHHH. YOU ARE IMPRESSIVE, THE LAST TIME SOMEONE COULD FIGHT AGAINST ME LIKE THIS WAS FITY YEARS AGO!"
Kentaro jumped down of Ishi's gigantic body, he had stopped moving.
"So, am I worthy enough to enter the room of the ancestors or not?"
To this, Ishi answered with a strike of his tail, sending Kentaro flying.
Ishi began moving slowly towards Kentaro who was on the ground.
"KENTARO FUJIMOTO, IF YOUR ANCESTORS WERE PRESENT TO SEE YOUR TALENTS, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD. YOU ARE MORE THAN WORTHY TO ENTER THE ROOM."
Ding! "Mission completed: Pass Ishi's trial."
Ding! "+ 5 000 000 points"
Kentaro stood slowly up, he was in a lot of pain because of Ishi's sneak attack.
"Why did you hit me with your tail just now?"
Ishi hissed and they were back to where they first met.
"TO GET YOU BACK FOR WHAT YOU HAVE INFLICTED ME. ANYWAYS, YOU MAY ENTER THE ROOM OF THE ANCESTORS."
The large stone door opened when Ishi poured some of his Chakra.
It was pitch dark, but torches began going on one by one. What was pitch dark was now a long illuminated path.
"FAREWELL, KENTARO FUJIMOTO."
Kentaro nodded at Ishi and began walking. When he had walked ten meters further, the stone door behind him began closing.
He saw Ishi coiling back around himself, returning to sleep until someone else would wake him up in the future.
Now, he could not return back, he could only walk further.
Kentaro walked and walked until finally he met with a stone door.
He tried to push it open but it didn't work. He tried to break it and it didn't work.
"How the hell am I supposed to open it?"
Kentaro was thinking on how to do it, he even asked if he could enter. It was not like someone would be in there to hear him and open it.
"Let's try this."
Kentaro clasped his fists, shifting the stone door in a way that abled him to enter.
Finally, he was inside.
Like the path, it was pitch dark but torches soon went on to illuminate the room.
The room was filled with shelves and the shelves were filled with books and scrolls.
He had until midnight to read and examine everything that was here.
"Let's see what it's all about."
