In Marvel with King’s Powers(Nanatsu no Taizai)

It's been a year since the banquet that day and the banquet had not ended on a good note after Odin spoiled Aelsa's mood with his words.     

Aelsa had clearly showed Odin outside of the realm after he asked the Realm to surrender under him like it's everyday business.     

Aelsa was fuming and wanted to lead a battalion to wage a war at Asgard. You don't just come to someone's home and tell them to surrender everything you have.     

But reason kept her steady and she didn't take that step. She just continued the banquet for a while and ended it without announcing King's and Elaine's engagement.     

She just wasn't in the mood for anymore pleasantries after that. Their approach of peace has made them seem weak to other realms.     

And it has been a year ever since that incident. Odin's words that day put a faint pressure on Aelsa from then on.     

'The war maybe coming for us'. Aelsa couldn't sighing whenever she thought of this.     

"Mom, are you still worrying about that thing?" King walked up to Aelsa. She was sitting in the garden of the castle and looking at Elaine planting some flowers by herself.     

"I just want this peace to last". Aelsa smiled and spoke softly.     

"Don't worry, It will last forever. I will make sure of it". King spoke confidently and sat down opposite of her.     

Aelsa didn't say anything and just smiled at King. She couldn't help sighing in her mind but she was gratified to have these two children.     

"I'm going to prepare. I have to get ready for my engagement in a while". King stood up from the chair and started walking towards his room.     

"Elaine, go and prepare". Aelsa looked over to Elaine and also instructed her.     

"Okay Mom". Elaine nodded and got up to head towards King's room as well.     

Aelsa also got up to go to her room for preparing. She couldn't be behind her two children when it was Their engagement.     

All of them prepared as fast as they can but it still took them one to two hours to be dressed perfectly by the maids.     

King wore a white loose toga like suit on his body along with some gold accessories here and there on his body.     

Elaine was also wearing something similar but in a more feminine design rather than what King wore for the engagement.     

Aelsa was wearing a gorgeous white gown with designs made from silver on the cloth. It shone with a beautiful pattern and design.     

"Let's go, we can't let them wait". Aelsa spoke softly and walked towards the Hall where all the preparations were already made for today.     

The three walked towards the Engagement hall. It was a temporary hall made with an open side for the people of Ljosalfgard to see the engagement themselves.     

The platform was built quite high and the whole hall was at a very elevated altitude to show the ongoing engagement to the people.     

They walked into the waiting area and waited for the knights to form a perfect line before their announcement will come and they will show their faces.     

Bang     

All the knights slammed their swords on the ground and a court magician walked onto the middle of the podium.     

"Today's the happiest occasion of our Beloved prince, Princess and the Princess of Vanaheim getting engaged with each other.     

May the ancestors, the Spirits of Alfheim and Yggdrasil pay witness to this wonderful occasion". The Court Magician said with a smile and his voice reverberated throughout Ljosalfgard.     

"Long live Her Majesty and the Royal Highnesses!" Cheers came out from all the people in Ljosalfgard and shook the land with their power.     

This was also the cue for the main participants to make their way over to the podium. This was the perfect occasion and timing.     

"Please". King took Elaine's hand like a gentleman and smiled pleasantly.     

"My pleasure". Elaine replied back and stood up gracefully from her chair.     

Aelsa smiled and followed behind the two stars of the show. King was also feeling a bit jittery inside from nervousness and excitement.     

Freyja also entered from the other side of the hall and looked at King with a smile that from ear to ear. She looked happy and excited as well.     

"Please". King also presented his hand to her in the same manner as Elaine.     

"Thank you". Freja smiled and put her hand on King's palm lightly.     

They led the way all the way to the podium and the knights set their swords in like an arched roof above their heads.     

The people watched this fascinating scene and King stepped on the podium along with Freyja and Elaine.     

"The ancestors watch over us. May the Spirits and Yggdrasil bless the two realms of Vanaheim and Aflheim with an eternal friendship.     

May the three standing below the witness of the spirits have an eternal bond that lasts through the ages". The Court Magician said loudly with joined hands and his eyes closed.     

A group of light orbs started to float around King and the other two. They surrounded them like an ethereal show which looked magical.     

"All hail Alfheim!" A loud cheer sounded again as soon as the spirits appeared to bless the three people on the podium.     

"May Yggdrasil bless these three". The Court Magician said and the engagement finally came to an end with an intense light shining on the three.     

This was all there is to it to the engagement. Marriage is also held in the same way and once an engagement has been made, it is never broken and is no better than a marriage itself.     

It is just that breaking an engagement has way less consequences between two people than a marriage because a broken marriage brings shame upon the honour of the royal family and the engagement can still be broken with a valid excuse.     

"Congratulations". Frey stood up from his chair and moved over to Aelsa.     

"To you too". Aelsa nodded elegantly and smiled softly in reply.     

This would be the day that starts the binding between the realm of Alfheim and Vanaheim. A historical event in the Nine Realms.
