In Marvel with King’s Powers(Nanatsu no Taizai)

"Yeah, I just recently got that knowledge about you being Yggdrasil's champion". Odin nodded his head with complicated emotions swirling in wised up eyes.     

"Since you know it already then I can also tell you that I have the confidence to defeat at least one of them head on in confrontation". King also didn't mask his words or capabilities because Odin could be a valuable ally.     

Ofin was taken aback when he heard King's words and suddenly laughed self deprecatingly in his mind.     

'If I had taken things too far with Alfheim at that time then things wouldn't work well for me huh'. Odin felt he was lucky that he controlled his temper at that time.     

"What plan do you have?" Odin nodded his head after getting out of his thoughts and asked.     

"Thor can be the best ally but he is too ignorant at the moment. He doesn't know anything other than fighting and boasting. We need to take that out of him and train him to be a King". King said solemnly while looking at him.     

"He has the potential to be more powerful than me but we don't have too long". Odin shook his head and sighed in a bit of distress.     

"Don't worry, I didn't train him for nothing. He is already very strong. He just has to find his calling and inherit your Odin force. The rest will be easy". King said and Odin was a bit taken aback that he didn't know his own son.     

"You could've made the both of them great but you dote on them too much. Even during Loki's time". Odin sighed with complicated eyes and cut his words there.     

"Nothing I can do, I have raised them more than you since they were Kids. I treat them like my own. If you are harsh then the other has to be soft". King shrugged his shoulders and shook his head.     

"I know". Odin also nodded his head and sighed again but his mood wasn't depressed at all.     

King first came to Asgard to train Thor and Loki when Frigga requested him to. So as a good Brother in law, he had to allow this request.     

He spent years training them when they were kids and could be said to be a second Father figure to them. Loki was especially attached to him like he is to his mother.     

Thor listens to him greatly and even fears his anger because King seldom gets angry but when he does then all hell breaks lose.     

Once something very interesting happened.     

Loki was being led inside the room by Royal guards and he looked like he had done nothing wrong. He was looking very complacent.     

"Loki, do you know what you have done wrong?" Odin looked at Loki with a stern face and spoke with majesty.     

"I don't know". Loki answered simply without flinching at all.     

"You are saying you don't know. You nearly had Thor **** Sif due to one of your pranks. And you are still saying you did nothing wrong?" Odin looked extremely gloomy and his eyes were boiling with anger.     

"I got the medicine from someone saying that it could make him act like a fool but not that." Loki's eyes widened when he realised what had happened.     

He had really gotten this medicine from someone who knew about him and he got enticed into the other guy's words.     

He is only 15-16 years old and was suffering derision from his surroundings. So the oppression got to him and he took this step. He never imagined that this would happen.     

Everyone treats him like an outsider. So he could only prank Thor and make him look like an idiot to try and gain some respect among the people.     

"Enough with your excuses. I am punishing you." Odin didn't even listen to Thor's words and was about to speak.     

Just then, a black portal opened inside the room and a white haired guy walked in with a spear floating around him.     

There was a giant Wolf behind him with pitch black fur and red eyes that looked menacing and could eat people alive.     

The Wolf was at least the twice the size of the guy and the guy himself was at least good six and a half or 190 cm.     

"Have you asked me before punishing him?" A cold and calm voice rang in the air that froze the hearts of the Royal Guards who were getting ready to take action as soon as possible.     

"Why are you here?" Odin asked gloomily. He felt like he had a headache coming on because he knew that things were going to get complicated.     

"I am here because someone wants to punish my nephew without my consent". King answered in the same calm tone and conjured a throne for him to sit with his powers.     

"Loki, speak." King didn't even listen to anyone else and looked over to Loki to speak.     

"Everyone looks at me like an outsider and I wanted to gain recognition and respect from them". Loki started gloomily and sorrowfully when he mentioned this.     

Even Odin and Frigga flinched when they heard this from his liuth and knew how serious the situation was.     

In MCU, Loki never really opened up to anyone and mentioned this outright on the face. Him mentioning this also enlightened the two of them.     

"When I was walking down the street and thinking of what to do. This guy called over to the alley and talked to me that the potion could make Thor act foolish for an hour in front of the crowd.     

I was really tempted and took the potion from his hand." Loki finished speaking and hung his head down in front of King like an obedient child.     

"So that means, you wanted to put down your own brother just for some fame?" King's face was very gloomy when he mentioned this.     

"Uncle." Loki looked guilty and had nothing to say in his defence.     

"Loki, do you really want to gain recognition?" King looked at him after a sigh.     

"Yeah." Loki looked up and a firm gaze was directed at King.     

"Then train harder with me and when you are ready. I will tell you the method to get recognition but before that". King nodded and explained but he didn't forget the previous talk.
