Sebastian had found the news about an unusual metal that is really tough and can even negate some kinetic force.
It isn't much to him. Considering his power is to absorb any form of energy and then send it back but it can be a boon to Hellfire Club and his power can be magnified.
So a plan was formed to raid the said country and take the metal from them by any means necessary. This thing was only known to a select few people.
'I have a suspicion on Emma and she will not hear a wind of this operation'. Sebastian looked at the description of the ore and thought in his mind.
'The only people going there are Victor, me, our new member, some telepaths and people who can take a hit.' Sebastian wrote down some names and some general categories to classify the people he didn't know.
Still, his preparations for this raid were done and he had involved at least 10 people in this operation. He was sure to get that thing.
The time tickled away slowly and it was soon dawn. A time when people are either waking up or changing shifts with other people on patrol.
"Victor will create chaos in the streets along with some telepaths to control their own people against them.
Meanwhile, red devil will take me and Our new member to the mine. We will all get away from there as soon as we have acquired the metal." Sebastian laid down the plan and looked at the others.
"I have no problem but what will we get out of this?" Victor said and looked at Sebastian inquiringly.
"Everyone will get ten million dollars guaranteed whether we get the metal or not." Sevastian looked at all of them and said.
"Okay." Victor pondered for a moment and agreed. He was okay with this. It was a good amount of money considering the era they were in.
Everyone else also expressed their willingness and Sebastian had a satisfied smile on his face. The plan was getting in motion.
"Alright Gentlemen, let's make a move." Sebastian smiled widely and stood up from the chair. The rest also followed along.
They boarded a advanced looking jet and quickly flew towards their destination for the required prize.
Meanwhile in the US,
King was currently just working on the light speed engine in the Pegasus facility along with Howard and Wendy.
"The ratings are going good and we should be able to finish it soon." King looked at the performance of the engine and he looked especially enthusiastic about it.
'I have a feeling that this will be interrupted today.' King thought in his mind and knew that his Hunch is always right.
He has been in the facility since last night and things have been going good for the time being and the experiment is also proving quite successful.
They might be able to finalise the design and technology in just about a month and put it in trial for finalisation.
The time tickled slowly like sand in an hourglass and soon it was about noon. Right at this time, King was contacted telepathically.
"King." A feminine and wild voice sounded in King's ears like it was contacting him.
"What is it Bast?" King stopped what he was doing and went to the toilet to talk.
"King, I need your help." Bast's voice sounded a bit urgent and distressed as she said this.
"What happened?" King turned a bit serious and asked her.
"Someone is making trouble in Wakanda. They have killed a lot of my people and I even sent my own avatars to stop them but they have this big red guy and he isn't allowing my avatars to do anything.
Please, I need your help." At the end, Bast was literally begging him to take action.
"Don't be like this, we are friends, aren't we? I will be there in a sec." King nodded his head and consoled her for a while before he exited the bathroom to say something to Howard and exited the facility.
He found an area without any kind of surveillance and teleported to Wakanda and even went straight to Bast's domain.
"Let me see the guy." King appeared beside Bast and looked at the whole of Wakanda.
There was a raging big guy wearing a res suit and helmet. He looked like a mini Hulk with his size and could easily for hulk if he coloured himself green.
"Okay, this guy is really big trouble for you." King nodded his head while looking at the guy.
"You know this thing?" Bast asked tentatively while looking at the massive guy rampaging in the streets.
"Yeah, he is Juggernaut and he holds the gem of Cyttorak. This will have to be done old school." King nodded his head and explained.
"Shit, You mean the genuine Cyttorak?" Bast was dumbfounded when she heard King's words because Cyttorak is a Realm God. Which is way above her league.
"Can you handle him?" Bast looked at the Juggernaut and asked with some worry.
"Easy." King laughed and shook his head like it was no big deal.
"Then I will trouble you again." Bast smiled and thanked King very sincerely.
"Yeah, this probably makes it third or fourth time that I am saving your ass." King laughed again and teased her unceremoniously.
"Fourth time." Bast whispered in a small voice with some embarrassment and King went away from the domain.
He has saved her ass before a lot as well. Every time she needed help because she couldn't leave her domain to interfere with the mortals because of the Gods council's covenant.
Her avatar has also only been sent when the situation is too dire for her believers or she wouldn't even send it and take the risk.
King can completely ignore the Gods Council's covenant because they can't stop him even if they gang up together.
He is like a balance and rule breaker between the Gods. They are just helpless against and can't do anything to him.
First of all, he is a Realm God with a lot of power. Then he has Alfheim behind him. He is also an ally of Vanaheim. He is a Sorcerer and a Master Magician. He is just too powerful along with his X-gene.
