In Marvel with King’s Powers(Nanatsu no Taizai)

(A/N: I know I was away for a long while. It's just that I got a job and didn't have time to write the novel anymore.     

It happens when you are working like 10 hours a day. So please bare with me. I'll try to be consistent now but no guarantees.)     

Years have went past and King helped out with the Pegasus project along with Howard. They have been making great progress on things.     

One thing because King is actively helping to sort some stuff out in things which is accelerating the completion of the project.     

A very funny thing happened during these years. Like in Canon, Bucky still tried to assassinate Howard this time around.     

'Bang'     

A shot was fired and blew the tire of the car going in front. It was an empty road with nothing in sight and the area was pitch black with only the car headlights illuminating the way.     

The car tumbled to the side and crashed into the bushes . It got turned over completely but contrary to what was expected.     

There was no injured Howard Stark or Maria Stark in there. Both of them bursted through the car doors and quickly got out of the car.     

Howard has developed a habit of carrying a gun with him after King strictly reprimanded him and gave him some lessons on field training.     

He was wearing a tactical vest underneath the suit and had a gun in one hand. While Maria had already took off and hid behind a tree to get out of Howard's way.     

"Now that wasn't a very friendly greeting?" Howard smirked and cracked his neck while looking at the masked assailant in front of him.     

Bucky didn't waste any breath in taunting Howard and just stomped his foot and rushed straight at him with his gun raised to the front.     

'Bang Bang'     

Multiple shots rang around the surroundings and Howard dodged the bullet by rolling on the ground and taking cover behind a tree.     

He wasn't one to be outdone either and fired back at Bucky with the gun in his hand. It wad specially fortified and had more power than a standard hand gun.     

The fierce gunfire started to rage on the highway and it didn't take long for it to get under the eyes of some other people because of too much noise.     

Plus, Maria had already called the cops while Howard was confronting Bucky and the road was getting surrounded quickly.     

Howard is one of the leading scientists and a valuable asset to American Military. So any distress signal from him is of the highest priority.     

Bucky saw the situation was turning against him and also heard the surrounding sirens quickly approaching their location.     

So he threw a grenade like thing on the ground that emitted a really harsh scream and inadvertently made Howard and Maria cover their ears and close their eyes from shock.     

He took this chance and ran into the woods before he vanished without a trace to be seen. It was like he was never there, just like a ghost.     

"Damn." The scream finally relented and Howard cursed when he looked around and saw that the assailant had disappeared.     

"Don't worry dear, at least we are safe." Maria came around and comforted Howard. Who was looking around vigilantly with a bad face.     

He was a bit pissed because the assassin ran away after trying to kill him and his wife. Anybody would be furious at this.     

Howard took a deep breath to calm himself and waited for the police to arrive and saw a couple of headlights flashing on the road and coming towards their direction.     

"Howard." A concerned voice came from one of the more advanced cars that stopped along with the police cars and King came out of the car.     

"How are you guys?" King walked over to the two of them and asked with some concern.     

'I mean, I saw everything with my own eyes but you gotta pretend.' King said in his mind but didn't let it show on his face.     

"We are fine. I gave that guy a run for his money." Howard laughed and touched his bicep braggingly.     

"You never improve." Maria put her hand on her forehead helplessly and sighed.     

"What is there to change in me? I am all good." Howard shrugged his shoulders and didn't care about Maria's opinion on his behaviour.     

"No need to change your unrestrained behaviour. It is all good." King waved his hand with a smile and saw the officers getting out of the cars and coming towards them.     

"Get ready to give your testimonies." King pointed at the officers and said.     

"Yeah, what a pain." Howard nodded and sighed but still obediently went along with the officers to give his testimony on the spot.     

They didn't ask him about the gun. They just looked at the license that he was holding and let it go.     

The gunfight wasn't anything serious for them since Howard was a part of the army as long as he was working on Pegasus.     

Howard was also aware of the fact and went ham when he shot bullets at the assailant before. He was giving full play to his advantage.     

"Since it is finished then hop in the car and let's go." King pointed towards his car and said.     

It was a car that looked like the Rolls Royce Phantom and was especially beautiful and eye catching in this era.     

"Man, you need to make me one of those. It is fucking awesome." Howard couldn't control himself and fell in love with the car's sleek look and royal aura.     

"Man, I ran over as soon as Maria called the police. All the phones have a distress signal that when your heartbeat speeds up too much or you call the helpline. It will inform me of it. Just keeping it in for insurance." King said while sitting in the driver's seat and Howard was sitting beside him.     

"That's a good feature. Give me access to Maria's and Tony's helpline. If needed, I can also know." Howard nodded his head with an impressed expression.     

"I will also do it for Tony and Maria. So you can know about each other's emergency. Can come in handy." King nodded his head and agreed readily.     

"Skynet." King called softly and a hologram of a beauty suddenly popped out of the player on the deck of the car.     

"What can I do for you?" Skynet spoke very clearly and fluidly. Which was very unlike a mechanical AI.
