122. Atlantis
The whole gang moved through the portal and came to a vast underwater Kingdom.
All around was full of water and neon lights coning from different mutated plants. It was a colourful and wonderful sight.
The sci fi structure of the buildings and vehicles passing by along with the natural fluorescence from the plants created a picturesque view of what you would expect from an advanced civilisation.
There were all sorts of people with fish heads and bodies. There were beautiful mermaids in gowns and mermen in armours.
"Beautiful." King uttered while looking at this picturesque scene. He had to admit that the beauty of this place was right below fairy gardens in Alfheim.
"Why don't you call your friends over as well." Alex suggested with a small smile. He had an expression full of pride.
"One minute." King snapped back to reality and nodded his head in agreement.
"Alright buddy, Get on it." King stroked Lopt's head and said.
"Woof,(do it yourself, you lazy twat)." Lopt shook his head and started looking at all the different fishes with glittering eyes.
"I'll buy you a big feast. So do it." King whispered in Lopt's ear and they stood up straight like an arrow.
"Woof,(remember it)." Lopt said and instantly got to work.
Everyone else were looking at their funny skit like watching a play and saw Lopt open a portal about 300cm in size.
"Alright, I'll be back in a sec." King said and passed through the portal.
He was back to Alfheim and went to the garden. He felt everyone's presence in the garden and their auras felt quite restless to him.
"Guys." King shouted loudly and suddenly all the heads snapped towards his side.
"King!" Everyone yelled in surprise and jumped on him eagerly.
The first to jump on him was Elaine. Which was followed by everyone else.
King suddenly had a pile of bodies on himself and his face was below a pair of big and soft marshmallows.
'Can't breathe but this is heaven'. King thought while just letting himself enjoy the moment.
"Alright now, get off of him." Aelsa came to the garden and saw the situation.
The girls reluctantly lifted themselves away from King and obediently stood behind Aelsa like some good children.
"Mom." King called slowly lifted himself up from the ground while dusting his clothes.
"Thank you honey." Aelsa moved forward and gently hugged King while thanking him.
"Mom, why do you need to thank me?!" King said rhetorically and in a chiding tone.
"I am only thanking you in behalf of all the people of Alfheim." Aelsa shook her head and said calmly.
"Well I will be their future King and It is my duty to protect my people." King just shook his head and argued.
"Ok, don't keep on dragging the topic with mom now." Freyja chided King like a dutiful Wife. She had a smile on her face the whole time.
"Ok." King nodded his head and stopped talking about the topic.
"Alright, enough with that. I am here to invite you guys to a place." King smiled and told everyone excitedly.
"Where?" Diane asked while drooling. 'New food.'
"Another reality." King answered with a pose. He had his fingers in a victory while keeping the hand in front of his face.
"Just that?!" Diane asked rhetorically while the rest deadpanned at him except Emma, Jean, Ororo and Bast.
Just then, a vast field of Death suddenly appeared in Alfheim and everyone felt a shiver run down their spine.
"King". A sweet voice like a lark came from the field and an entity manifested itself before them.
It was a beautiful woman. Her white hair flowing like the cloud and her skin so pale that you would think it is unhealthy.
Her face was exquisite like a sculpture with high cheekbones and plump lips. She was like a succubus that would take away your soul.
"Death." King's voice got stuck in his throat when he saw Death's sweet smile. The problem is, only her lips were in a smiling arc but her eyes were dangerous.
"Ahem." King coughed to relieve the embarrassment and looked like he was ready to face death itself.
"Dear." Death called out very sweetly and instantly appeared in front of King.
"You had a lot of fun right. You consider yourself omnipotent right?! Let me see how powerful you are." Death turned into a great asura with her hair floating all over the place.
She grabbed King's ear and gave it a very hard tug like she was about to tear it off from the roots. The expression on her face was also terrifying and strict.
"I'm sorry." King jumped in pain and apologised with a squeal. It was like a pig getting slaughtered while being fully aware of its misery.
"Don't hurt King." All the girls squinted and quickly stepped between King and Death. King had done it to keep them all safe. So how could they just watch the misery that King was going through.
"Oh, protective are we?" Death asked rhetorically and looked each of their faces. Her face glowing in amusement.
"Then why didn't you bloody stop him from jumping into the storm?" She asked agin but this time. Her voice was deadly serious and she looked at them with anger and disgust.
"Stop." Seeing that things were getting out of hand. King stepped in and released his full pressure on all of them.
"I know I am wrong here but I did it to protect my family. If there is a chance then I'll do it again." King replied seriously and looked at all of them affectionately.
"King." King's words touched their hearts and all of them looked at him softly with affection.
The atmosphere started to turn a bit pink between all of them and Death was also included into it.
"Cough, don't show your affection in front of a lonely widow." Aelsa coughed and reprimanded them seriously but her tone came out as a joke.
