"We will do our best." They straightened their waists and yelled out like soldiers answering to their senior officers.
"Good." King nodded his head and Jean started to lead them towards the principal's office.
Jean and Ororo had become the principal and the vice principal of the institute. Due to their relationship with King, he couldn't find anyone more trustworthy.
'Freyja is busy these days learning queendom from Mom and Elaine is busy building a garden in Alfheim according to her specifications.
Only one free to accompany me is my pet cat Bast and Emma along with Diane.' King thought about it and decided it was good to go home and spend some time with the three of them.
He opened a portal and just stepped before he found himself in front of the villa. The door opened as soon as King appeared outside.
"Welcome back your highness." James bowed and welcomed King into the mansion.
"Thanks James, keep up the good work." King nodded his head and replied back with a smile.
The. He made his way over to the lounge to meet with the three ladies that were still free to accompany him.
Meanwhile back at the institute,
Jean had just finished registering the four people as students and now they were being guided to their dormitories.
"So, do you only teach people about their powers here?" Susan asked curiously because not much information ever flowed out of this institute for some reason.
All the people that graduated here kept their mouth shut even if they are ever asked about anything. They will always deny to answer anything deep about the institute.
"No, we do take civilians in and also hold normal lectures and subjects. We are the top university in the world." Jean straightened her back and pushed out her chest in pride as she explained to Susan.
"Oh, I thought you only ever admitted mutants or special people." Susan exclaimed in a bit of a surprise. She had never actually tried to research about the King Institute.
"Yes, it's just we do more of a strict enrolment. Admissions are only done through invitations and you cannot contact the outside world while in the University." Jean shook her head and explained patiently to her.
"What?" Susan exclaimed again after she heard Jean's words. No contact outside means she can't contact her friends or family either.
"You will get a bit of time to use the university's provided phones to contact the outside world but it is limited." Jean saw through Susan's words and appeased her a little bit.
They were the only two heading towards the Girls' dormitory. The men were being guided by a student to their dormitory as well.
"That's good to know." Susan heaved a sigh of relief after she heard Jean's words.
"Plus, you can graduate from here as soon as we deem that you can sufficiently control your powers and they won't go out of control randomly like now." Jean said and immediately used her telekinesis to control Susan's powers that were about to rampage suddenly.
"See, you are still unstable." She could feel Susan's power and knew when she would lose control.
So she tagged along in hopes that she can tell her the consequences of just going about her normal life without properly controlling her powers.
"Thank you." Susan was a bit embarrassed but she still thanked Jean properly. She was grateful for her help and reminder.
"Good." Jean nodded with satisfaction when she saw that Susan was following her instructions obediently.
"Oho, someone's impatient I see." Jean looked to the left and saw a blazing trail in the sky. It like a fireball was hurtling through the sky at a fast pace.
With Johnny and the others,
They were being led by a student and learning about the procedures of the university. That's when mayhem occured.
"No one told me about this shit." Johnny didn't even give anyone time to persuade him and completely engulfed himself in fire before he just blasted through the air.
And this was same scene that Jean saw from her side but it won't the be last tho.
'Hahaha, bitch who needs training. I'm already good enough.' Johnny laughed madly in his mind and was already quite high up in the air.
"You might wanna stop there." Suddenly he heard a voice in his mind and before he could do anything, his powers stopped working and he fell straight down.
"These new guys." The student shook his head with a sigh and just manipulated the air to create an air cushion for Johnny.
"And there you have it. The consequences of no proper control over your powers." The student pointed at Johnny and said to Reed and Ben sarcastically.
"He could've very well used more power than that if he had more control over his powers." He didn't stop there however but continued talking more and more.
"Ugh." Johnny grunted a little and shook his head after getting up from the ground.
"Hey, you could've put me down normally." Johnny grunted out and shook his head again to finally relieve the shock.
"And he is a privileged twat as well." The student snapped back while speaking in irony.
"Uh." Reed and Ben had no words for Johnny's behaviour and just silently took all the insults thrown their way.
They didn't know what to say to defend their friend after he had done these things which could've been a very bad result.
"Well here we are." They walked along a bit further and finally reached their intended destination.
"Thanks to you guys, I'll get 10 more credits than originally intended." The guy laughed happily and left after they were escorted to the building.
"Just go straight in and someone will get you registered." He waved his hand and walked away in a seemingly cool way that he thought looked handsome enough.
