87. Leaving Impel Down
"They will take the ships outside to leave the island."-Jon
"Then we need to secure a ship so we can leave this place. I will go and get a ship for us, but we need to hold Magellan here."-Jinbe
"Leave it to me!"-Jon
Jinbe and some prisoners including Crocodile go up the stairs, but suddenly Magellan make a poison hydra to attack them. Mr.3 immediately make a candle wall to hold the hydra. Jon also make an earth wall but Mr.3 is faster. He is a devil fruit user, so he didn't need to make hand seals.
"Tch, i lose."-Jon
"My win."-Mr.3 smirk
"IT'S NOT A COMPETITION!"-Prisoners
The candle wall can hold the hydra well enough. Mr.3 say his candle is as strong as steel, even Crocodile is impressed by this. Jinbe, Crocodile, Buggy and many other prisoners go up to Level 1. Jon immediately make a shadow clone then make some hand seals and ask everyone to fall back.
"Doton: Earth Prison Dome"-Jon & clone
The dome trapped Magellan inside of it, then he switched the control to his clone.
"3, cover it with your candle, as thick as possible! Just leave the area where my clone is. Also, make it thicker at the back, it is weaker than the front."-Jon
Mr.3 coat the earth dome with his candle and now it looks like an igloo. Everyone then go up to Level 1 and go to the entrance. They see the door has gone and the ships has leave far. Jinbe, Crocodile, Mr.1 and Buggy are not seen in here too.
"It seem thyy have gone to get a ship. Now we can only wait. I hope Magellan will not come soon."-Jon
Much to his dismay, Jon receive a memory from his clone, Magellan has break the dome. Magellan arrive and now his poison body turn from purple to red. Even when he walk, the ground is hissing and start to melt.
Mr.3 try to attack with his candle, but it got melted soon. This red poison is more corrosive than the purple one. Jon also try to make a jutsu, but suddenly his body feel hurt again.
'Shit, it's come up again.'-Jon
Jon eat some painkiller to ease his pain and focus again. Then, Jon look at the sea, but the ship hasn't come. He also see the tall Gate of Justice and realize it.
'Even if we get the ship, we need to open the gate to leave.'-Jon
Jon immediately open the map that he scan with the system. He find the control room and it is the same with monitor room, then he make some shadow clones. The clones run to the monitor room to open the Gate of Justice. Then suddenly, Jon got a memory again from his clone in level 6.
~A while ago in level 6~
Jon's clone is waiting Jon's command, he sit near the hole. Then he see some guards come, but they instantly get poisoned and fall. He realize the poison that being blocked by the wall before is sleeping gas after he see the prisoners start to sleep after the gas spread.
'It will make my poison spread faster in their body. Even if some of them can hold their breath for a long time, my poison can seep through skin pores. It is an expensive poison made by Sasori afterall. He is a poison master, just like his grandma.'-Clone
He wait for sometime, but he didn't get the command yet. Then suddenly, someone break the entrance door. The clone look at the intruder and see that it's Blackbeard and his crew. He know them all because they are the same one that he saw in Jaya.
'That big guy must be Burgess, then the one that bring a gun is Van Augur, the one with horse is Doc Q, and the new guy that i didn't saw before must be Lafitte. What are they doing here?'-Clone
"What's this smoke?"-Burgess
"This is poison, don't inhale it!"-Doc Q
"Zehahaha, is this the poison trap to weaken Straw Hat and his group before?"-Blackbeard
"Captain, we need to remove the poison first. It will also affect our new recruits. They have inhale it for sometime, it will be a waste of time if they die before joining us."-Lafitte
"You're right."-Blackbeard
'So they want to recruit some new crewmates. But it will be a problem if they take these guys. They're the worst criminals and it will be bad if they are freed.'-Clone
The clone just didn't know that the original has freed many prisoners with his group. The clone didn't want to take a risk and see what the Blackbeard pirates will do. They look calm, so they must have a way to remove the poison gas here.
"I can't let you remove it yet."-Clone
The clone jump down and stand in front of Blackbeard pirates.
"Hmm, aren't you Straw Hat's crew member? What are you doing here? I have saw you up there with him."-Blackbeard
"He must have follow us here. WEEHAW"-Burgess
The clone just make a tiger hand seals, and look at them.
"Ah, i'm just a clone, i stay here since earlier to give some pain to these guys. They're the worst kind of people, so i can't let you take them away."-Clone
"Zehahaha, did you want to stop us by yourself? You're not ready yet."-Blackbeard
"I know, but i can inflict some pain right?"-Clone
The clone immediately ignite the paper bombs and it become bigger because of the gas. It is also in a closed room, so it become more destructive. Blackbeard pirates seem to be a bit panic by this. Blackbeard immediately cover his crew with black gas like substance.
The clone see this and immediately jump to Blackbeard and catch him. Blackbeard is surprised and want to attack the clone. But the clone didn't take more time and explode. Jon has made explosion shadow clone to make sure that the explosion will happen.
The clone explode on Blackbeard face, but Blackbeard immediately cover his body with his power. Sometime later, the explosion stopped and the black gas disappeared.
"Damn that brat, he explode his body on my face."-Blackbeard
He didn't get any injury because of his fast respon. But he is annoyed by what happen.
"You guys, hurry up and check if there is still survivors! We can't go empty handed."-Blackbeard
~In Level 1~
Jon receive the memory of his clone and approve his action. He didn't know what Blackbeard's power is, so he can't take a risk. He also can't let them to take some dangerous prisoners out. Altough he know that there will be some survivors. Those guys must be very strong to be put in level 6.
Jon focused again at their situation now. Magellan have come and he is even stronger now. They don't have a choice but to fight him and wait for Jinbe. Luffy want to attack, but Jon stop him again.
"Luffy, you will only get poisoned again if you touch him. His poison is much stronger now."-Jon
"Then i won't touch him. 3, make a candle wall! Jon, make an earth wall! I will kick it to push him back."-Luffy
Jon understand what Luffy want to do, so he make some hand sign and make an earth wall. But Jon make it not attached to the ground, so Luffy's kick will not get hindered. 3 also make a candle wall behind the earth wall and make it thick.
Luffy then use his gear 3rd and make his right leg big. Then he kick the wall toward Magellan and it push him far behind. Magellan's poison haven't corrode the wall yet, so he is pushed by that.
Suddenly the ground in front of them break and something come out from underground. It is Iva and Inazuma, Iva make his head big and use his wink to break the ground between the level. He also bring the poisoned Inazuma, but Iva got knocked out after his head hit the ceiling.
"I can't tell if it's a good or bad idea."-Jon
They take Iva and Inazuma to the entrance and wake Iva. But then, Magellan come again and they are panicked once more.
"Shit, when will the ship come?"-Jon
Suddenly, a denden mushi went off, and the prisoner that bring it pick up the call. It is from Jinbe and he tell them to jump on the sea. Of course the prisoners objected, because the sea is filled with Giant Seakings. Luffy ask them to believe in Jinbe, because he is Ace's friend.
Magellan has come close and they don't have choice but to do what Jinbe ask. Iva that has been awoke, turn his head to be very big and ask everyone to hold onto his head. Everyone did it, then Iva use his wink to propel them out from the Impel Down.
They all fly, but then fall to the sea and panicked by it. But then, a school of whale sharks appear on the sea and they catch the escapees on their back. They all become elated, and Magellan and the guards become depressed instead.
They have let many prisoners escaped, and it's only because of someone, Luffy. They didn't count Jon, because he is Luffy's crew and they only count the Captain. When a crew make a problem, the first to be blamed is the Captain.
The whale sharks swim to the far away Marine ship and all the escapees jump on it. Jinbe and co have defeat all the marines on ship and now they need to run away before the other ships catch up.
"Wait, we can't escape if the Gate of Justice didn't open."-Escapee A
The guards and Marines also know this, so they didn't feel that worried now. They just need to catch up to the ship and attack the escapees. Magellan immediately go to monitor room, so he can monitor the situation of the ship.
"Don't worry about it, we just need to go forward."-Jinbe
Jon also want to say that, but when he heard Jinbe, he become suspicious. They get closer to the Gate and suddenly it opened. Even the guards and Marines are surprised by this. Magellan immediately go to monitor room to check what happen. Suddenly, Jon got a memory from a clone he sent to monitor room, and hit the railing.
"THAT IDIOT!"-Jon
"What happen Jon?"-Luffy
"I sent some clones before to open the Gate from the monitor room. They succeed to arrive there, but then they see Magellan, even tough he should be in Level 1. They immediately attack, but it turns out that Magellan is Bon-chan."-Jon
"WHAT?! Then Bon-chan is left there? Jinbe, turn back the ship."-Luffy
"We can't, this ship is being pulled by the current already. We can't change the course now."-Jinbe
"But..."-Luffy
"He said that he want to help you, and he won't let you lose your brother. He said you're his friend, that's why he will always help you."-Jinbe
"Straw Hat boy, Bon-boy did this for you, so you must respect his choice."-Ivankov
Luffy become sad and he run to the back of the ship. The other escapees also run there after they heard about Bon's sacrifice. They all cry and thank Bon loudly. Jon look at this and just sigh.
"Stop it! Didn't you hear me? I said my clones are there too. Look at the sea behind the ship!"-Jon
They all look at the sea behind the ship and didn't see anything at first. Then they see some small black dots and it keep getting close to them. Finally they can see it, there are some Jons running on the water, and Bon is being carried by them. Luffy immediately become happy.
"BON-CHAN!"-Luffy
