The Legend of the Kyubi

The day had passed quickly and it was already night. Kurama and the girls had already set up their tents, which had been stored in the storage seals they always carried with them.     

"Not bad" - said Kurama as he thanked Hinata for the food she had prepared. He had to admit that although it did not compare to Kushina's, it was not far behind.     

"T-Thank you..." - replied the Byakugan princess with a slight blush.     

"I guess I'll have to ask Kaasan for some advice..." - sighed Ino as she shook her head.     

"We'd better rest, we have to continue with the examination tomorrow" - said the young redheaded man as he looked at his teammates. He still remembered how Anko had informed them that the maximum time they would be here would be a week.     

"Have you activated the seals yet?" - Ino asked curiously.     

"I did it while you were preparing the food" - the Uzumaki nodded calmly. He had set a proximity alarm, so when someone entered the protected perimeter, it would sound and warn them, and in addition to that, he had set an illusionary seal so that he could buy some extra time.     

"I wonder how the others are doing" - Hinata muttered as she thought about the situation of the other rookies.     

"I'm sure they'll be fine... At least everyone except Choji" - said Kurama as he burst out laughing. He could see how the Akimichi boy was cursing to have some quality food.     

"Now I feel bad for being so comfortable in this place" - said Ino as she looked at her plate. They not only had a good place to rest, but they also had a hot and delicious meal.     

"That is called preparation" - answered Kurama simply.

"Now I thank Okaasan for telling me about the past Exams" - murmured Sasuke as he activated his storage seal - "I also have to thank the Dobe for giving me this"     

"Why does that idiot help you so much?" - Kiba asked with a frown, though he did not complain as they now had some decent food. He was only curious as to why the redhead was so 'nice' to his teammate.     

"I don't know... and something tells me it's better if it stays that way" - answered Sasuke as he looked around. The trio was actually inside a tree. Kiba had used his Getsuga so that he could open a hole so that he could rest without any problems.     

"No matter what the reason, it only matters that it makes our stay here easier" - sighed Sakura as she took a bowl of instant ramen - "Not bad..."     

"It is good that things remain as we stored them" - smiled the Uchiha as he took vegetable ramen.     

"Who stays on guard during the first night?" - asked Kiba as he devoured a pork rib - "Delicious"     

"You" - replied the other two Genins from team 7.     

". . ." - Kiba only sighed but still nodded.

The next day, team 8 was waking up from their night's rest and Kurama was preparing breakfast because it was his turn to do so, but when he was about to call the girls to breakfast, he felt a dark aura of snake growing constantly in the distance. He tried to concentrate a little more so that he could feel who was in that place, but when he did, his face turned pale because he had managed to feel a familiar chakra - "Shit! That's where Sasuke and the others are!     

"What's wrong, Kurama-kun?!" - Hinata exclaimed in surprise when she heard the redhead's cry - "What happened to Sakura and the others?!"     

"They are in trouble!" - shouted the redhead while feeling like the aura of whoever it is, was making contact with the boys of team 7. It was obvious that the person that was in front of his friends was not a Genin, because it was impossible that a 'rookie' had such a strong and dark chakra unless he is a Jinchuriki - "I'm sorry girls but you will have to pack our things!"     

"Don't worry, we'll take care of this" - said Ino as he watched the boy run to team 7 - "I just hope nothing bad happens to the boys"

"Shit!" - Kiba shouted in fear at the sight of the person in front of them. She was a normal-looking woman from Kusa but that did not matter, what mattered was how both he and Akamaru were sweating in her sole presence. His instincts were telling them to run but he could not do that, not when he had his team behind him.     

"As expected from an Inuzuka..." - smiled the woman as she licked her lips - "The unity with your team is impressive... Tsume must be proud to have a cub like you"     

". . ." - Kiba said nothing, only watched as his comrades stood guard by his side.     

"Kiba..." - Sakura said in terror as she felt the woman's thirst for blood.     

"She... no, that... is much more dangerous than Zabuza and Haku..." - said the Inuzuka in fear but still did not retreat.     

"Do you think we can defeat her?" - Sasuke asked seriously. He trusted his teammate's senses.     

"No... it is impossible..." - Kiba muttered as he shook his head - "What we can do, is fight until help comes..."     

"Your senses are sharp" - Nodded the 'woman' with approval - "Your plan is not bad either... but there is a slight problem... and that is... that help is not possible because I am going to finish this before that happens"     

"Team 7, Beta formation!" - exclaimed Sasuke as he activated his Three-Volume Sharingan.     

"Hai!" - exclaimed the remaining two as they pulled out their gear.     

"Akamaru... I know this will be hard for you" - said Kiba as he gave his companion a food pill - "But we have to fight with everything and attract as much attention as possible"     

"Woof!" - Akamaru only barked as he nodded firmly, only to swallow the pill and in the process, have his fur turn blood red.     

"I'm sorry to be a burden at the moment" - said Sakura while she took out all the explosive Kunais she had - "So I'm not going to get into your fight but I'm going to give you all the support I can"     

"Impressive that you don't give up..." - smiled the woman as some of the skin on her face began to fall off. The youth of team 7 felt disgusted by this but their expression changed when they noticed that under that skin, there was another face.     

"No!" - Sakura exclaimed in fear as she noticed the eye staring at her. She recognized immediately that so distinctive faction - "We have to escape!"     

"Kukuku~! Not bad, little kunoichi~ " - said the 'woman' who now had a male voice - "It is impressive that someone of such low rank recognized me just by showing my eye"     

"Sakura... Who are we up against?" - Kiba asked in fear.     

"He... he is one of the former students of Hiruzen-sama and one of the Densetsu no Sannin..." - Sakura answered with fear - "He is Orochimaru... The Renegade Sannin of Konoha and criminal of Rank S"     

"!" - the kids backed off when they heard that but quickly calmed down.     

"What are you doing here?" - Sasuke asked seriously.     

"I have come for you, Uchiha Sasuke-kun," Orochimaru said with a smile.     

"Congratulations, you have an admirer of dubious tastes" - said Kiba as he gave his companion a sympathetic look. It was well known that Orochimaru was especially fixated on young men.     

"Shut up!" exclaimed the black-haired young man. "Now all we have to do is fight and win"     

"Or you will be fucked like a prostitute at a bachelor party" - said Kiba with a smile on his face.     

Sasuke only gave him an annoyed look but said nothing to defend himself because it was obvious that that would be their fate if they did not win.     

"If it makes you feel any better, that Inuzuka boy is the type my right-hand man likes, so I can take him too" - said Orochimaru calmly.     

". . ." - Kiba's smile froze when he heard that and could only take a horrified look at his enemy - "It's a joke. . . isn't it?"     

"I have no reason to lie" - replied Orochimaru - "Now. . . how about you just give up and let me finish all this? I have a lot of things to do and not much time"     

"I-I won't let you take my boyfriend!" - exclaimed Sakura with fear but froze when she noticed the Sannin's cold stare - "I'm not asking for permission... I'm making it clear that I will take Sasuke-kun"     

"I'm-I'm gonna fight to stop that from happening!" - shouted Sakura with a serious look - "I am going to protect the anal virginity of my boyfriend!"     

"Sakura... you are not helping..." - Sasuke muttered as his expression became depressed.     

"But you have to admit that it is beautiful how your girlfriend wants to protect your ass from a very possible 'deep investigation'" - said Kiba with a smile on his face.     

"Don't forget that you are also designated as a test subject for that 'research'..." - snorted the Uchiha as a depressive aura surrounded the young Inuzuka.     

"Can't you take Kiba and leave Sasuke-kun?" - Sakura asked with an expectant look.     

"Fucking pink board!" - the Inuzuka shouted as he returned to normal.     

"I'm sorry... I came here exclusively for Sasuke-kun... Kiba-kun is mostly a bonus" - replied Orochimaru as he shook his head.     

"I'm a bonus..." - murmured Kiba as he fell back into a spiral of depression.
