The Legend of the Kyubi

"Literally," added Kiba.     

"This is no time for jokes!" - exclaimed Sakura.     

"I suppose it will be the hard way," Orochimaru sighed as he shook his head. "Why don't you just give up and we' ll get this over with? You obviously cannot defeat me"     

"We won't know until we try! Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!" - said Sasuke as he threw a big fireball at Orochimaru - "Now!"     

"Jujin Bunshin! Gatsuga!" - shouted Kiba as he and Akamaru rotated at great speed.     

Orochimaru only moved to one side to dodge the two attacks with a calm look - "Is that all you have? Because if so, you are only wasting your time"     

"Not even close! Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu!" - Sakura exclaimed as she threw Kunais with small bags - "I have to thank Kushina Sensei for teaching me some Fuinjutsu"     

The Kunais exploded upon impact on the Sannin but the Genin did not take it for granted. Sasuke made hand seals again - "Katon: Goryuka no Jutsu!"     

The sound of the explosions echoed through the place as the silhouette of the Renegade Sannin was engulfed by fire.     

"Do you think we at least damaged it?" Kiba asked seriously as his clone only grunted in denial.     

"Hmm... that hurt a little... Kukuku~" - the sound of Orochimaru's voice came through as the fire quickly disappeared. The renegade Sannin only looked at Team 7 with amusement while a few small flames were still on his clothes.     

". . ." - the Genin's faces were pale with terror. They knew the damage would be minor but never thought it would be negligent.     

"It's my turn," Orochimaru smiled as he made hand seals at high speed. "Kuchiyose no Jutsu."     

And after saying those words, he put his hand on the floor, creating a big smokescreen.     

"Hiss!" - a high-pitched hiss echoed in place as the head of a large snake hurled itself at the group of rookies.     

"Shit!" - shouted Sasuke as he grabbed his girlfriend and jumped out of the beast's reach.     

"I'll take care of the giant worm!" - shouted Kiba as he looked at his partner- "Ready, Akamaru!"     

The clone only nodded firmly as a wild glow appeared in his eyes.     

"Then let's get to work!" - exclaimed the Inuzuka. "Tentsoga!"     

Kiba and Akamaru whirled at high speed again, but this time their two tornadoes came together as one, making a bigger, more powerful one - "Turn into a paste! You bastard!"     

"Hiss!!!" - The great Serpent only hissed in rage as it dodged the Inuzuka's attacks but every time it passed by, it was damaged by the wind current.     

"I see I underestimated that Inuzuka" - said Orochimaru as he shook his head - "But it doesn't matter... as long as my little girl keeps him busy, I can finish what I came here to do"     

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!" - shouted Sasuke as he threw a fireball at his opponent - "We have to make time!"     

"I'm going to send up a flare!" - shouted Sakura as she pulled a sphere from her implement bag.     

"I don't think so, little kunoichi," said Orochimaru as he made a hand stamp, "Kanashibari no Jutsu..."     

"Huh?" - Both Sasuke and Sakura were surprised when they felt their bodies freeze.     

"What's going on?" - the young Uchiha asked as he watched his opponent approach.     

"Sasuke-kun! Release your chakra at once!" - Sakura shouted as she tried to get away from the enemy Jutsu but her reserves were low, so it was useless.     

"Ok!" - exclaimed Sasuke as he activated his entire system chakra - "Ha!"     

"Don't you think you're being too annoying?" - Orochimaru asked as he made other hand seals - "Futon: Daitoppa!"     

Orochimaru quickly concentrated a large amount of wind chakra and launched a shockwave against the two Genins who were still paralyzed.     

"Kya!" - Sakura could only scream in pain as she was sent flying into a tree. Sasuke, on the other hand, managed to free himself from the Jutsu of his enemy but could hardly change his posture not to receive the impact of the shock - "Sakura-chan!"     

"S-Sasuke...kun..." - muttered the pink-haired girl as she fell to the ground unconscious.     

"Bastard!" - roared Sasuke as his Sharingan rotated with greater intensity. It was obvious that he was furious and this same fury was feeding his Dojutsu.     

"That's it... let anger rule your mind" - Orochimaru smiled as he looked at his prey.     

"Silence!" - roared the Uchiha as he made hand seals and concentrated a large amount of chakra inside him - "Katon: Goryuka no Jutsu!"     

"Doton: Doryuheki" - said Orochimaru as a wall of earth appeared in front of him.     

"That won't stop my anger!" - shouted Sasuke as he increased the chakra flow. He only wanted to cause irreversible damage to the bastard who had harmed his girlfriend.     

"That's right Sasuke-kun... Anger will make you much stronger," Orochimaru said with a casual tone.     

"Shut up!" - roared Sasuke as he felt his chakra slowly begin to empty, but that did not matter to him, he only wanted to turn his enemy into ashes.     

*CRACK CRACK     

And to his delight, the wall that was protecting Orochimaru was beginning to crack.     

"Just a little longer," thought the young Uchiha who had let anger cloud his mind. Only to have a smile appear on his face when the flame of his Jutsu struck the silhouette of the Sannin Renegade.     

"You need to be more attentive to your surroundings, Sasuke-kun," Orochimaru said as he appeared behind the Uchiha and grabbed him by the throat.     

"!" - Sasuke was surprised but quickly saw how the silhouette of Orochimaru who had attacked had turned to dust - "Bunshin..."     

"It's a simple trick Sasuke-kun, one you wouldn't have forgotten if your mind was in the right place... too bad that's not the case" - continued the Sannin Renegade - "Anyway, it's time I did what I came to do but first..."     

"ARGH!" - Kiba only screamed in pain as he felt someone hit him in the stomach. He had finally succeeded in killing the snake and was about to attack Orochimaru by surprise but it seems his enemy had detected it long before.     

"It's impolite to interrupt someone when they're saying something important," said the Sannin as he shook his head. "I have to admit, though, that you guys amused me"     

"S-Screw you..." - Sasuke said with difficulty. He could feel the air getting thinner.     

"Your anger is delicious, Sasuke-kun..." - smiled the Sannin of dubious tastes - "What if I gave you a gift to match these emotions you are feeling?"     

"F-Fuck you..." - replied the black hair, only to feel Orochimaru biting his neck - "ARGH!"     

Sasuke was feeling like someone was injecting lava into his blood as an unknown chakra invaded his system - "AAAAAAARGH!"     

"Just hold on a little longer" - smiled Orochimaru as he threw his prey to the ground - "When you get used to my gift, you'll understand how much it will help you"     

"AAAAH!" - Sasuke could only scream in pain as he felt the unknown chakra spread over every inch of his body.     

"S-Sasuke...kun..." - said Sakura as she regained consciousness and heard her boyfriend's scream.     

"Hmm... I expected you to be a little longer unconscious... I guess you're a little better than I thought" - said Orochimaru with surprise - "Now... what should I do with you?"     

"Maybe let them go," answered a cold and unemotional voice.     

"!" - Orochimaru quickly retreated because he felt a great crisis approaching his location.     

"Not bad for an elusive snake," said the newcomer as he looked at the Renegade Sannin coldly.     

"Uzumaki Kurama..." - said Orochimaru seriously as he observed the newcomer's appearance. He looked exactly like the report he had received, with the only difference being two fox ears on his head and four tails moving behind him.     

"I'm not going to ask what you're doing here," said the boy in front of him but froze when he heard a similar voice behind him - "I'm just going to annihilate you.     

"What?!" - exclaimed the Sannin Renegade as he felt something slowly tear him apart - "Bijuudama"     

The sound of the explosion did not wait while the blood flew everywhere. Sakura was surprised by the gore in front of her but quickly calmed down because the situation of her companions was much more important.     

". . ." - Kurama was only silent with a frown because he felt something strange was happening. He understood that Orochimaru couldn't survive that attack but something deep inside him told him that he was not yet dead.     

"That hurt like hell... Kurama-kun..." - Orochimaru's voice was heard as his body parts turned into snakes and hid in the ground - "It's going to take me a while to recover from these wounds but at least I got what I came for"     

"What did you do to Sasuke-kun?!" - Sakura shouted as she struggled to get up.     

"Just an invitation..." - the Renegade Sannin replied - "He will understand with my gift that by my side he will be able to exploit his full potential"     

"That will never happen" - denied the redhead - "He has no reason to accompany you"     

"That's where you're wrong... Kurama-kun" - said Orochimaru as he let out a grim, manic laugh - "He will come to me when he learns the truth about the extermination of his clan, not to mention that I have some information about his new father..."     

"!" - Kurama opened his eyes wide, only to have his expression change to a cold and unemotional one.     

"What a fantastic look..." - continued the Sannin of snakes - "But it is time for me to leave... until we meet again... Kurama-kun... Kukuku~!"
