The Legend of the Kyubi

Day 1     

Nothing out of the ordinary, the Suna shinobis have done nothing out of the ordinary, although the attitude of team leader Baki Jonin is a little strange...     

Day 2     

Target Sabaku no Temari, has made contact with Kurama Uzumaki, current Jinchuriki of the Kyubi yo Yoko. After observing them for an entire day, I concluded that they are a strange duo... although the most shocking news of the day was the revelation of the true identity of Sekkusu Kami-sama. I decided to withdraw when I saw that the two targets had made contact with Jiraiya-sama.     

Day 3     

The Suna Targets are acting a little more strange than the days before. Baki has noticed that Konoha has improved its security levels. The Genin have not left, not even Sabaku no Temari, who always walked after lunch.     

Day 4     

There is no change in the actions of the targets, they are not even training for the Chunin Tests.     

Day 5     

No change.     

Day 6     

No change     

Day 7     

Today Hiruzen gave me the day off to spend with my girlfriend Yugao. I don't think it is necessary to detail my personal life in a formal report, but as I heard from my replacement, there was no change in the behavior of the Objectives either     

Day 15     

There was no change with the attitudes of the targets during the last days, so I decided to summarize everything in one day. Today was my second day off to spend with my girlfriend. I'll just say that it was a wonderful day, although I've had a bad feeling lately.     

Day 16     

Today Baki showed a different attitude from previous days. He left the hotel with an unknown destination and from all the turns he was making to mislead possible spies or followers, it was obvious that he did not want anyone to accompany him. When I'm done finding out what's going on, I'm going to continue with my report...

It had been 3 hours since Baki had left the hotel and it was already night. Hayate had managed to keep his target in his sights although it had taken him so long to do so because he had to admit, Baki was an expert at covering his tracks.     

"Strange..." - Hayate muttered as he watched Suna's Jonin Sensei enter a watchtower in Konoha - "How is it possible that a checkpoint in Konoha is not only uncovered but also protected by hostile forces?"     

Hayate slowly walked towards the tower while controlling his coughing.     

"All-white masks?!" - exclaimed the Jonin in his thoughts - "What the hell are Danzo's forces doing in this place?! No... it's better to ask why they still exist..."     

Hiruzen had ordered Danzo to shut down the Root program completely but it was obvious from the men in front of him that the Old War Hawk had not completed his military leader's orders.     

"I have to report this to Hiruzen-sama..." - Hayate muttered as she performed a Summoning Jutsu.     

*Poof~*     

Slowly, from the smokescreen, a small ferret appeared and looked at the Jonin with concern.     

"Don't worry, Shiki...I am fine," Hayate said with a smile. "I want you to take this scroll and give it to Hiruzen-sama as soon as possible, then I want you to come back because I will need you"     

"Squeak~!"- Shiki nodded and then ran off at full speed.     

"I just hope this bad feeling I have..." - Hayate murmured grimly.

After a few minutes, Shiki returned and sat on the shoulder of his master.     

"Are you ready, little one?" - Hayate asked as he coughed slightly.     

"Squeak~!" - Shiki nodded firmly.     

"Good... but first..." - mumbled the Jonin - "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"     

*Poof~*     

Two clones appeared in front of the original and quickly nodded. They did not need orders as they had the same thoughts as the Original when he performed the technique.     

The three of them quickly approached the two Root guards at the door and killed them with ease.     

"You know what to do," said Hayate as he entered the tower.     

"Hai..." - the two clones nodded quietly as they transformed into the two Anbu Root they had killed and stored the bodies on a small scroll which they handed over to the little ferret.     

"Well... now...Touton Jutsu" - Hayate's body, slowly became invisible - "A Jutsu that Jiraiya-sama would kill for having... I better get on with my work"     

Quickly, Hayate began to climb the tower, only to notice how not only Anbus Root but also Oto shinobis were standing guard.     

"Okay... this is more than enough proof that Danzo has connections with hostile villages," Hayate thought as he wrote on a scroll. After writing his report, he continued to climb but it was getting harder because the shinobis were everywhere.     

"Shiki... hold on tight..." - mumbled the Jonin as he started to jump carefully so as not to make any noise. If the reports he had gotten from Oto were true, then they were able not only to perceive sounds with ease but also to detect slight vibrations.     

"It is good to see you have arrived, Baki-dono" - it was heard in the distance - "I hope no one has followed you"     

"I took care of it" - Baki snorted - "Although it wasn't easy with Konoha's increased security"     

Hayate only frowned when he heard this because it was obvious now that he had to hurry to get as much information as possible.     

"I better take my chances," Hayate muttered as he sped up.     

"Did you feel that?" - asked an Otonin.     

"No... it may just be the wind..." - answered another Otonin.     

". . ." - Hayate only breathed a sigh of relief that he had not been detected, but his expression changed when he heard two men speaking from inside the Meeting Room.     

"It may be because they still believe Orochimaru-sama is within Konoha," said the first voice.     

"He is not in Konoha?" - Baki asked.     

"No," the first voice denied. "After being mortally wounded by Kurama Uzumaki, Orochimaru-sama decided to retreat to prevent problems"     

"Why didn't you tell me that important information?!"- exclaimed Baki angrily - "Temari-sama was with him for a whole day and it could have ended badly if he discovered any hint of our intentions!"     

"Worried about your student?" - asked the first voice in an amusing tone.     

"No..." - Baki denied. "It's because she's important to Suna. As Rasa-sama's only daughter and the eldest of the brothers, she is the key to an increase in political power or a good tool for forming alliances"     

". . ." - Hayate frowned when he heard this. He never thought the leader of Team Genin de Suna would be so cold to one of his students.     

"What shall we do with Kurama Uzumaki?" - Baki asked seriously.     

"Nothing," replied the first voice, "he is much more dangerous than you think, which is why we will not do anything against him for the time being"     

"I still say we should kill him immediately" - the Sunanin was being serious when he said these words. He felt that the mere presence of the redhead could cause their plans to fail miserably.     

"As I said, we need not do anything against him," said the first voice. "Our information says that he does not have the best relationship with Konoha"     

"But that does not mean that he will not give you a hand at the right time, Kabuto-dono" - answered Baki seriously.     

"I agree with that, Baki-dono," Kabuto nodded.     

"Kabuto?!" - exclaimed Hayate as he recognized the name. According to the report he had been given, Kabuto was the name of Orochimaru's right-hand man, as well as that of one of Konoha's 'Genin' who had participated in the Chunin Examination - ". . ."     

"But if it makes you feel a little safer, we have someone who can stop him" - said Kabuto with confidence.     

"I won't sacrifice my Jinchuriki" - the Sunanin refused. For Suna, Gaara was the first and most important line of defense. If he fell, then Suna would be completely defenseless, especially knowing about the disastrous economic situation they were going through.     

"Relax, I'm not talking about Gaara-kun" - said Kabuto - "We have another ally who can stop the destructive power of the Kyubi no Yoko, although it will only be for a few minutes, more than enough time to be able to seal off his movements until the operation is over"     

"I'm sure that when the seal disappears, we'll be the only ones to feel the wrath of that thing" - snorted Baki coldly.     

"I don't think that will happen, not when we don't attack the 'Members' of the Uzumaki Clan," replied Orochimaru's right-hand man.     

"I only hope you are right," Baki said as a cold sweat ran down his back as he thought of the possible destruction a furious Kyubi no Yoko would cause, one that was far worse than the beast before because this time he had more human feelings.     

"As I said before... he will do nothing to us unless we disturb him in his sleep," Kabuto repeated.     

"I am going to trust your words, though now I am curious to know who this ally is that can stop this beast," Baki said calmly though one could tell how excited he was. If they had someone capable of stopping a Bijuu, then the mission would be much easier.

Regarding the Origin Translation... the first 5 chapters are already in Pa treon as Tier 3...I will soon be posting more on that platform... as for here, I will start posting chapters when I have accumulated a few so that I can give some benefits to the people who support me.
