The Legend of the Kyubi

How long had it been since you were here? Days? Weeks? Years?     

He didn't know... only that the more minutes passed, the more he hated those two and everything related to them.     

"Kushina..." - Minato muttered as he squinted. In front of him, there was a sheet of paper with a badly drawn picture of a red-haired woman - "I swear that when I leave this place, you'll wish you had never betrayed me..."     

"You have a visitor, Namikaze" - said one of the guards as he clicked his tongue.     

"Minato-kun!" - exclaimed Midori, who could tell she had aged poorly from all the pressure she had endured over the years.     

"Midori..." - Minato muttered as she looked up.     

"Minato-kun... you'll soon be out of this place," Midori said with a smile as she spoke fondly to her husband.     

". . ." - Minato couldn't hide the surprise she felt when he heard this because he never believed she would manage to do something like that.     

"Surprised?" - the woman smiled. She had accomplished many things over the years, such as controlling many of the prostitutes in Konoha's red-light district, all thanks to the power she had gained in her time by becoming the Hokage's wife. It was thanks to this that she managed to get the method to enter the prison, as she used some dirty secrets about some of Konoha's high officials - "I have not stood still, Minato-kun... I've been getting information while you were locked up, I even got some contacts with outside forces"     

". . ." - Minato nodded at the woman's words, thinking maybe she wasn't as useless as he first thought - "Who is this?"     

"That would be me, Minato-kun" - said a voice he knew very well, and it was for this very reason that he was disgusted - "Orochimaru..."     

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Minato-kun... I see that life is treating you well" - smiled the Sannin as he looked with amusement at the Fallen Yellow Flash of Konoha.     

"Keep having fun with my misfortunes, you bastard," Minato said coolly. "But I don't think that's all you came here for"     

"No... I've come to offer you a deal that I'm sure will interest you" - smiled the Sannin Renegade.     

"Tell me... I have all the time in the world," Minato said sarcastically.     

"I see you haven't lost your sense of humor despite being locked up for more than four years..." - replied Orochimaru while giving him a look full of disdain - "Anyway, I haven't come to joke with you, but to talk about business"     

"What do you want and what do you ask for?" - said Minato seriously.     

"What I want is the death of my sensei, as well as the complete annihilation of Konoha" - said Orochimaru coldly - "Although the second may be optional, as long as the person who takes over does me a favor or two..."     

". . ." - Minato narrowed his eyes as he watched the Sannin observe him silently.     

"I can accept that... but I feel you want something more" - said the former Hokage as he squinted - "I know you, Orochimaru... you are one of those people who don't settle for what they have and always want more"     

"You know me very well, Minato-kun... although that's obvious, seeing as it's not the first time we've done business," Orochimaru said as he licked his lips.     

". . ." - Minato only kept silent because he sincerely didn't want to talk about it.     

"I still remember when you were still a Genin... a very talented boy I have to admit" - said Orochimaru as he looked at the blond man - "It's a pity that at that time I wasn't interested in eternal life, otherwise I would have considered you as the best container I could have got..."     

". . ." - Minato continued in silence as he began to feel disgusted at the words of the Sannin.     

"Do you remember? You asked me to help you conquer that little fireball" - said Orochimaru as Midori was surprised to hear this. She had heard how Minato had managed to rescue Kushina when she was captured by a Kumo squad, though she felt that the excuse of the redhead's hair was too much to bear, especially since the wind might have blown the trail away and sent the search party on to another location.     

"I am still surprised at how stupid those Konoha shinobis are," the Sannin snorted - "First... how did those idiots Kumo know about our Jinchuriki? How did they know where she lived or rather where she would be when they started their mission?"     

"Silence!" - Minato exclaimed angrily because he felt like a memory he had blocked out was starting to surface again in his mind.     

"I'm getting to the best part, Minato-kun," said Orochimaru with a smile. "How is it that a Genin, despite being a genius, could not only track down a group of Jonin de Kumo much faster than an Inuzuka squad? How is it that he could defeat them so easily?"     

Midori was curious about the answer because honestly, she didn't believe the story of Kushina's hair.     

"The answer is simple actually... it is because someone from Konoha, had leaked the information" - replied Orochimaru as he looked at the blond man with amusement. He was talking about this because he could break Minato more easily - "Defeating them was easy, especially when they were poisoned... don't you think, Minato-kun?"     

"Silence!" - exclaimed the fallen Hokage again.     

Orochimaru's plan was simple, he would continue to attack the Hokage now that he was on the ground, then divert all his hatred to another target. He understood that Minato hated Hiruzen, Kushina, and Kurama, but now he would hate all of Konoha, which would make it easier for him to manipulate him into accepting his other demands.     

"The plan was simple... I would leak the information about Kushina's location so that the spies in one of the villages could easily capture her, but not before giving them a little gift" - smiled Orochimaru as he watched with amusement as Minato watched him with hate - "Then our little Minato-kun would come along like a samurai saving his princess, heroic, strong, imposing and he would charm our beautiful Jinchuriki..."     

"!" - Midori was surprised when she heard this since she never thought her husband would be this calculating. She had to admit that the plan was good, not only would he be considered a hero and a greater talent since he defeated a group of Jonin, but he would get the love of what could become the strongest kunoichi in the village.     

"Do you remember the price you had to pay, Minato-kun?" - Orochimaru asked as he looked at the blond man.     

". . ." - Minato clenched his teeth furiously as he felt his blood boil as he remembered that moment. He had decided to block out any memory of those events because they were too degrading for someone like him.     

"The price was..." - continued the Sannin.     

"Enough!" - Minato exclaimed - "You didn't come to say that shit! Now tell me what you want!"     

"The best part was just coming" - sighed Orochimaru as he shook his head - "It was a wonderful week... don't you think, Minato-kun? I still remember how you screamed the first day... although not much changed after that"     

". . . " - Midori opened her eyes when she heard this. She never thought that her husband had lost his virginity, not to a woman, but the man in front of her.     

Minato's eyes seemed to be bloodshot when she heard Orochimaru's words. He could feel her anger growing with every second that passed because his darkest secret, the secret he had hidden for so many years, had been revealed: "I'm going to kill you, Orochimaru!"     

"You're not the first one who wants me dead, I don't think you'll be the last either" - answered the Renegade Sannin as he shook his head - "Anyway, I think it's time we stopped talking about the past and concentrated on our negotiation"     

"I want nothing but your head!" - roared Minato as he extended his hands towards the Sannin, only to have them reach a few inches from his face because the prison bars prevented him from getting any closer - "Come closer, you bastard!"     

"A very tempting offer... but I think I'll pass," replied Orochimaru as he shook his head - "Do you want me to wait until you calm down, or would you rather talk to me another day?     

". . ." - Minato slowly began to calm down as he looked at the Sannin with hatred - "First... tell me what you're going to offer me."     

"Well..." - the Sannin nodded as he held up three fingers - "First, get you out of prison and free your Tenketsu so you can use your Jutsus again. Second, the possibility of taking over Konoha's leadership again. And third, revenge."     

"Revenge..." - repeated the blond as he looked at the Sannin with emotion.     

"Yes... revenge..." - Orochimaru nodded as he gave the ex-Hokage a smile - "Revenge against Hiruzen for locking you up, revenge against Kushina for betraying you, revenge against Kurama-kun for taking away everything you desire, revenge against the Daimyo for allowing your power to be taken away, revenge against the clans for not carrying out your orders".     

Minato started laughing like crazy when he heard this because he wanted what the Sannin had offered.     

Midori, for her part, was excited to hear Orochimaru's proposal. She hated Kushina and Kurama, as well as everything about them. She hated Hiruzen for siding with the redheads, she hated the clans for not killing the beast, she hated the Daimyo for not putting a price on the fox's head, that's why she was just as 'happy' as her husband.
