"All for the sake of my goal, old friend," replied the Renegade Sannin as he saw how Tsunade seemed to be about to break.
"Uncle..." - Shizune muttered as she covered her mouth with her hands.

"Enough games, Kato Dan," said Orochimaru as he instructed Kabuto to make a hand seal.
Dan was paralyzed as his eyes seemed to lose their shine.
"Orochimaru, you bastard!" - roared Tsunade in fury as the earth around her cracked.
"You're the one who made me do this, Tsunade" - said Orochimaru as he burst out with a crazy laugh - "Now you'll have to face your beloved Dan! And this time I took the trouble to put a different seal! Now my jutsu won't be deactivated like it was with Hashirama and Tobirama!"
"You sick bastard!" - roared Tsunade as she ran into Orochimaru, only to notice Dan appearing in front of her and preparing to take a swing at her - "Move away, Dan!"
"It's no use, Tsunade! Your beloved fiancé is under my absolute control!" - roared the Sannin Renegade as he watched Dan mercilessly attack his beloved.
"Jiraiya..." - said Kurama coldly.
"You don't have to say it twice," replied the Gama Sennin as he ran against Orochimaru, only to see the other hooded man appear in front of him.
"I am sorry, Jiraiya-sama," said the man neutrally, "I cannot allow you to stand in Orochimaru-sama's way"
The wind from the impact of the two shinobis made the hood that covered the man's appearance disappear, revealing a young man about 18 years old with white hair and green eyes wearing the typical garb of Oto.

For an Uzumaki, playing with souls was a sin unless there was direct intervention by the Shinigami. Edo Tensei was hardly passable because both the summoned and the victim still kept their souls intact and when Jutsu was released, the soul of the sacrifice was also released, allowing it to go to the Pure World, but what Orochimaru did was an abomination.
