Thanks to Kakashi taking over, the situation in Konoha had stabilized, and with both the shinobi and civilian clans now much more united, the village was much more harmonious.
Hiruzen remained as Kakashi's advisor in case things got out of control, but this did not happen many times so he now spent most of his time reading the books Jiraiya wrote.
Shikaku now was another member of Konoha's council, for his annoyance. He was now helping his son Shikamaru to take his place as soon as possible, although he knew this would take time because to be a counselor, his son had to be Jonin for at least 2 years.
Neji was chosen as the heir to the Hyuga clan now that Hinata and Hanabi had made it clear that they did not wish to take part in the leadership of the clan, which was not unwelcome.
The Uzumaki family had spent years worrying, as Kurama had not returned in all that time, though they knew it was okay because at least once a week, Izumi would disappear from Mikoto's sight and be found near the door next to a small scroll with a letter, in which she explained some important things, such as why he could not see them directly and what he had been doing all this time.
That leaves us with the current situation...
All the women of the Uzumaki clan, along with some of the family's personal friends, were walking towards the entrance of Konoha because a letter had arrived five days ago informing them that Kurama was about to return to the village.

"Remind me to beat up Kuro-kun for not coming back to Konoha for all these years..." - said a beautiful girl about 15 years old. She had blond hair combed into a ponytail that reached down to her waist along with a lock of hair that covered one of her green eyes. She was wearing a short purple skirt over black shorts and a purple top that showed her a well-defined curvaceous body.
"You should not say such things, Ino-chan... not when he has a fair reason for not appearing in Konoha" - said a girl with long dark blue, almost black hair that reached halfway down her back. She was wearing blue pants that reached her ankles along with a lilac jacket with white sleeves that could not hide her prominent attributes, but the most noticeable detail of her appearance was her beautiful pearly eyes.
"Okay, I admit it... but that doesn't change the fact that he could have at least said hello to us..." - snorted the blonde in annoyance - "Not to mention that he went out for a year longer than had been initially planned, Hinata..."
"You should put yourself in his place too, Ino-chan... he hasn't been able to see his whole family all this time, only the children" - answered Hinata calmly while she shook her head - "Kurama-kun has it hard too..."

"I wonder if that piece of shit has changed," said a beautiful woman of about 19. She was wearing black shorts next to a sleeveless jacket of the same color that highlighted her curves. The girl had dark pink hair that went all the way up to her tight ass with a lock of hair between her eyes.
"Do you know Tayuya? You are going to get in trouble with Kushina-san if you keep talking like that" - sighed a seventeen-year-old girl with black hair. She was wearing a dress similar to Tayuya, only on top of her shorts she was wearing a miniskirt - "You should know that since you've suffered more than 10 punishments this week... and it still doesn't end the first day"
"Tsk, mind your own business, Kin" - snorted Tayuya with annoyance - "Just wait, one of these days I'm going to put that redheaded bitch in the place she deserves"
"Ho~?Who are you talking about?" - asked a beautiful red-haired woman dressed as a housewife who couldn't hide her seductive body.
"I'm sorry, Kushina-sama!" - exclaimed Tayuya in terror.
"Haha~!" - the redhead began to laugh when she saw the reaction of the poor pink-haired girl, only to explode into a smokescreen, showing the silhouette of a beautiful purple-haired woman combed into a ponytail.
"That wasn't funny, Anko Aniki!" - exclaimed Tayuya in annoyance, seeing that she was only her 'Big Sister,' who had not changed a bit in these years other than that her breast had grown.
"I disagree, it was fun," Anko smiled as Kin nodded in approval.
"We'd better go..." - snorted Tayuya irritably.
"Advice that can save your life... don't say such things out loud, especially when in an open place where anyone can hear you," Anko said seriously as she looked at the pink-haired girl.
"Okay, I get it," sighed Tayuya as she shook her head.

"I wonder where Onee-chan is..." - mumbled a pretty girl about 12 years old. She had dark brown hair and was wearing a sleeveless blouse next to black pants. She had beautiful pearly eyes that were looking around in discomfort because she couldn't find her sister.
"What are you doing here, Hanabi?" - asked a beautiful woman with black hair and red eyes - "I thought you were with Hinata"
"She disappeared without telling me anything..." - replied Hanabi with annoyance - "Onee-chan didn't even tell me when Kurama-san would be back, Kurenai sensei"
Kurenai hadn't changed in these 3 years either, she was still wearing the same clothes as before, only now she was a bit more conservative - "I'll talk to her later but for now let's go to the entrance... Kurama is about to return."
"Hai!" - exclaimed young Hyuga as the two women walked to their assigned spot.

"It's been a while since we've seen Tousan!" - exclaimed a little boy with red hair, blue eyes, and 3 whiskers-like marks on his cheeks. He was wearing an orange kimono because according to him, orange is awesome - "I wonder if he'll bring us another present, Nishishi~!"
"It seems that you only want to see your father because he brings you gifts, Naru-chan" - said Kushina while looking at his son - "And don't run, you might get hurt"
"Hai~!" - Naruto didn't seem to pay much attention to his mother and ran at full speed.
"Naruto Nii-chan, listen to Kushina Kaasan," said a black-haired girl with red locks. She had black eyes and wore a blue kimono.
"Oh~! Come on, Izumi-chan~!" - exclaimed Naruto in annoyance as he saw his younger sister trying to stop his fun again.
"Naru-chan"-said a beautiful woman with jet-black hair who was wearing a black kimono that had the symbol of the Uchiha clan on its back next to the symbol of the Uzumaki clan.
"Not you too, Mikoto Kaasan!" - Naruto exclaimed in annoyance as he sighed with sorrow - "Okay... I won't run..."
The two women had not changed at all during these three years either, even though they were in their late thirties, due to the massive vitality of their bodies thanks to the chakra that while they did not use it to its fullest, they would maintain their bodies for many years to come.
"Those two are opposites..." - Kushina murmured as he watched as little Izumi stepped out of her mother's arms and walked to her older brother's side.

She was wearing a brown Kimono next to a dark brown Obi.
"Don't worry, Hikari-chan, there is still a long time for him to arrive," Kushina said as she saw her clan sister, who over the years had become more and more open to them and was now part of their large and still-growing family.
"Ryu-chan~!" - exclaimed Hikari with a smile as she looked at the door - "Come on, little one, we have to go see your Otousan!"
"I'm coming, Okaa-sama!" - exclaimed Ryu as he left the house. He was a little green-haired boy with red locks who was wearing a green kimono next to some small glasses that Kurama had given him to protect his eyes because unlike his brothers, he had a more developed sense of sight.
"Your son is so calm and polite..." - said Mikoto as he saw how Ryu was the calmest of the three Uzumaki heirs.
"My Naruto is a naughty boy..." - sighed Kushina as he shook his head - "I know my baby is smart but he's using that intellect to pull his pranks..."
"Naruto-chan has a good head on his neck" - said Mikoto while nodding - "If he applies that knowledge well, he'll be an expert in ambushes... but my little Izumi seems to have no interest in anything but Kurama-kun..."
"What else do you expect from Daddy's princess?" - asked Kushina as she looked at how the little black-haired girl had pulled out her foxy features - "Look... isn't she cute?"
