"I was, but I grew fond of it over time," smiled the Shark as he shrugged.
". . ." - Pain was silent as he felt his eyebrow tremble unconsciously. He could boast of being someone who didn't lose his temper easily but Kisame was making even him show emotions, not very nice emotions.
"Kisame..." - Itachi muttered.
"What?" - the Hoshigaki clansman asked only to see his stone turn to dust - "No! Rocky!"
"I expect good results" - said that Pain cut off the transmission and took the bridge of his nose - "He's still useful... I have to resist the urge to kill Kisame..."

"It was only a stone, Kisame," sighed Itachi as he shook his head. "You can find hundreds of them in the Elemental Nations.
"Bullshit! Rocky was special!" - exclaimed the member of the Hoshigaki clan.
"I swear to God that the chakra Samehada eats is affecting your mental capacities" - said Itachi neutrally - "Maybe you should go to a doctor to have your brain checked"
"We'd better get going..." - Kisame murmured as he felt his sword vibrate slightly - "What's wrong, friend?"
"Kisame?" - Itachi asked seriously.
"Samehada says she feels danger in the area," said Kisame seriously.
"Are you afraid?" - Itachi asked in surprise.
"No... I'm making a strategic retreat because I trust my partner" - answered Kisame seriously - "I don't know what's going on but Samehada seems to be shouting for us to get out of here if we don't want to die"
". . ." - the Uchiha was silent for a few seconds before nodding because if his partner was this worked up, it only meant one thing - "Ok, let's go"
The two Akatsuki members left the site in silence while Kurama was watching them from a distance they could not detect - "What a surprise to run into them... I guess Choumei owes me one for saving his ass while I was on my way to Oni no Kuni on the Boss's orders... Hmm... I'd better send a message to the boss while I'm on my mission to keep an eye on Akatsuki..."
