The Legend of the Kyubi

Cap 202: I'm not so stupid as to believe you

Cap 202: I'm not so stupid as to believe you

"My arm!" - shouted Hidan as he grabbed his bloody shoulder - "Give me back my arm, you bastard!"

"Hmm... this is interesting... the arm is trying to get back to its owner..." - murmured the redhead as he appeared beside Yugito with Hidan's arm in his hand who was trying to escape - "A pity your curse doesn't compare to all the negative emotions my half has been absorbing all this time"

Kurama slowly set fire to the arm that seemed to be screaming as it was incinerated.

"NOOOOOO!" - shouted Hidan as he felt his connection to his arm completely lost - "What did you do to my arm?!"

"I only cremated it on a molecular level" - replied the ginger with neutrality - "In other words, no more arm"

"I'm going to kill you!" - Hidan shouted as he grabbed his scythe with his only available arm, just to be easily blown away.

"Really... it's always the same" - sighed Kurama as he looked down on the mad Priest - "You guys always yell 'I'm going to kill you' or something and do nothing..."

"Hehehe" - Hidan only laughed insanely as he watched his scythe and saw how he had managed to cut down his attacker - "Your complacency killed you, Kyubi not Yoko... I don't give a damn about our leader's plans... I JUST WANT TO KILL YOU WITH MY OWN HANDS!"

"I'll give you some advice from a person who has killed hundreds, to a person who has killed hundreds... if you want to kill someone... do it right away... don't give them a chance to kill you first..." - said Kurama from behind the mad priest - "Jigoku Rasengan..."

"ARgh!" - Hidan only roared in pain as he felt consumed by the flames of hell. He was feeling his body being constantly consumed and regenerated as he was begging for a quick death that was slowly coming - " MoNsTeR!"

"Everyone calls me that when they're about to die at my hands..." - muttered the redheaded man as he bent over his face with a sadistic smile on his face - "And it's not far from the truth"

"!" - Kakuzu only trembled as he felt the best plan was to run away from the place. Their mission had failed at the moment when they did not finish their hunt quickly and let Yugito buy the necessary time.

"I am sorry Hidan, but you are alone," Kakuzu muttered as he disappeared with a Shunshin.

"Who said you could escape?" - asked the ginger as he appeared in front of his opponent with his index finger outstretched - "Rasen Shotto"

A lightning bolt came out shooting from the redhead's finger as it penetrated the body of Kakuzu who flew backward on impact - "Ugh..."

"Not bad, huh?" - The redhead smiled as he looked at his prey with amusement - "I have to admit that this technique is easy to shape when you have the element and control to do it"

". . ." - Kakuzu slowly stood up as he looked at the monster in front of him. Hidan was howling in pain like background music, making the situation more disturbing, although, to the relief of the mad Priest, he slowly began to lose consciousness, releasing his last breath after a few seconds, leaving the place in silence.

"A pity... I wanted to hear the melody of his cries a little more" - said Kurama as he burst out laughing madly. He could feel how he absorbed Hidan's hatred, as well as that of all the people he had killed over the years, one of the many disadvantages of being the Kyubi no Yoko - "Anyway... tell me, Kakuzu-san..."

"!" - the immortal mercenary slowly felt a tug on his body, noticing how one of his masks had inadvertently disappeared - "How?"

"Were you looking for this?" - asked the redheaded man as he showed him a sky-blue mask and destroyed it - "Now I wonder if the others also contain a heart~"

"!" - Kakuzu retreated in fear. For the first time in his life, he was feeling intense terror, one that was slowly consuming him but before he could do anything else, he again felt a pull, only this time it was his tiger mask - ". . ."

"Two out... I guess you have two more hearts left, not counting the one inside you, of course, ~" - smiled Kurama as he stared madly at the Nukenin - "Do you feel it? The fear of facing someone who holds your life in his hands... the cold of the Shinigami's scythe closer and closer to your throat, that's how all those who killed felt..."

". . ." - Kakuzu retreated again as he sought a route of escape while devising a plan to distract the redhead long enough.

"You know, even now I can hear the screams of all those who died, screaming at me to destroy you as sadistically and slowly as possible," said Kurama as he ignored Nukenin's efforts.

"The Jinchuriki!" - exclaimed the Immortal Mercenary in his thoughts - "If I use it to distract him, I can easily escape."

"Have you come up with a plan yet?" - asked Kurama curiously, only to notice how Kakuzu was throwing himself at the still exhausted Yugito - "I was hoping for something better..."

Kurama quickly stood in the middle of the road and lunged at his opponent, only to notice the smile on his face.

"I was hoping you'd do that!" - Kakuzu roared as the mask was pulled over his head - "Raiton: Gian (Lightning Release: False Darkness)!"

Kurama received Kakuzu's attack squarely as he ran out, only to feel his body seemingly shake uncontrollably - "ARGH!"

"Did you think it would be that easy?" - asked Kurama as he gave his opponent a scornful look - "I present to you a new variation of Minato Jutsu, Gura Rasengan (Spiraling Tremor Sphere)"

"Ahhhhhhh!" - Kakuzu roared in pain as he felt his heart inside his body was destroyed, as well as all his bones and internal organs.

"One of the disadvantages of being 'immortal'... pain is hell because you can't die naturally or from the defect in your organs," smiled the redhead and then looked at Yugito.

"Huh?" - Yugito gave him a surprised look but still, she listened to him. Matatabi had informed her that Kurama sent her a message through their unique connection telling her that things would become volatile - "Oh... Okay..."

"Come on, Kakuzu-san... you have two lives left" - said Kurama while looking at the Nukenin - "I also know that you can still pull your strings"

". . ." - Kakuzu slowly rose reluctantly as he glared at the ginger because it was obvious he was playing with his prey.

"If you can look at me like that, I guess you still have energy left to play with" - smiled the redhead as he dodged his opponent's lightning attack, as well as the grounded one with a few steps backward - "You should let people talk... it's not very polite to interrupt them"

"Fuck you, monster!" - exclaimed the immortal mercenary.

"It's ironic that the guy with five hearts calls me a monster" - replied Kurama as he concentrated the chakra in his hand, forming a small wind shuriken - "Rasen Shuriken!"

"!" - Kakuzu quickly used the threads of one of his masks to dodge the attack, only to see his mask, which contained his Doton affinity, disappear completely.

"Ok, good reflexes" - Kurama nodded - "A pity that it cost you your last chance to continue dodging since I can feel how your body does not resist the continuous flow of your jutsu, that means only one thing, that your last heart will have no choice but to return to your destroyed body"

". . ." - Kakuzu's expression became horrible as he watched the threads that once formed his avatar return to his back - "How can you know so much about my techniques?"

"The souls around you told me everything... they all want you dead, Kakuzu" - replied the redheaded man as he felt how the hatred of the people the Immortal Mercenary had killed was affecting him more and more - "I guess I better finish this before it gets out of hand..."

Kurama quickly appeared in front of the Nukenin and impaled him on his limbs against a rock - "ARGH"

"I'm sure you'll enjoy this last view..." - said Kurama as he began to walk in the sky as if he were climbing a ladder until he reached a safe distance - "Let's see... I think this is the perfect spot..."

"W-Wait!" - exclaimed Kakuzu in fear as the red-haired boy began to accumulate a large amount of corrupted chakra in his hand - "L-Let me go! I promise I'll get back on track!"

"I'm sorry... I'm not so stupid as to believe you, nor do I feel that everyone deserves a second chance" - said Kurama neutrally as he continued to concentrate chakra in his hand, forming a small black sphere with white rings - "I guess this is our goodbye, Kakuzu-san... say hello to Hidan, Deidara, and Sasori in hell... tell them they'll soon have even more company..."

"No! Please spare my life!" - exclaimed the Nukenin as he tried to concentrate his chakra so he could escape but without success - "I'll be good! I'll give all my money to charity! I even promise to work for the poor for free!"

"Goodbye..." - murmured the redhead from above in the sky - "Dai Rasenringu (Great Spiral Ring/Great Wheel of Fear)..."
