Kurama continued to read Hashirama's diary with all his concentration.

[It has been months since we discovered that Mito-chan was pregnant and the baby's situation is getting worse. I've tried to find solutions but nothing helps... I went to Uzu in search of answers, but they don't know anything either... I'm distressed and time is running out... I guess I'll have to travel to the Three Wise Lands to try to find a solution...]

"Right... the toads may know how to help us... they, like the slugs and the snakes, have lived with the Energy of Nature for years..." - murmured Kurama as he created two clones and sent them to where Sasuke and Tsunade were so that he could discover more about the home of the other two invocations - "Now... I'd better continue reading...

[Day XX, Month XX, Year XXXX

Nothing... The Cave Ryūchi did not give me any answers while the Shikkotsu Forest does not know anything about this situation since they have never taught a Sage... I do not know what to do... I only have to beg for help on Mount Myoboku...]

". . ." - Kurama frowned when he heard this because things had gotten a little complicated - "This means that I may not achieve anything with Tsunade-chan and Sasuke... but it is also possible that I may now manage to find something with all the time that has passed since that incident..."

[Day XX. Month XX. Year XXXX

Finally, I have arrived at Mount Myoboku and I have asked for an audition with Fukasaku-sama to ask for help... I only hope that they know something or at least have a clue as to how to help Mito-chan... because I couldn't bear the guilt of seeing her suffer after all we've been through together...]

". . ." - Kurama's expression didn't change when he read this but his aura exploded when he noticed that the diary had been damaged and the page where it was possible to find the solution had disappeared and from what he could tell, it was obvious that someone had removed it from the diary - "This is not a good sign..."

Kurama started thinking again until he felt a couple of memories comes to his mind, one being the conversation he had with a slug and a snake.

"This is useless... I guess I'm going to have to find it out myself" - murmured Kurama as he frowned and disappeared from the scene, leaving the clones to continue their research in case they missed something.

"I think it's time we started the preparations..." - said Pain, who had his eyes closed a few seconds ago - "Soon we will attack Kumo and take the Hachibi..."

"Although we still have no method to attack Konoha..." - answered Obito while giving a bored look to the Akatsuki leader - "Uzumaki Kushina has proved to be much more annoying than we thought... her Seals are now ten times more powerful..."

"But that doesn't change the fact that I can make them disappear just by touching them" - said Pain with neutrality.

"Right... a wonderful thing those eyes" - said Obito with a slight desire for the eyes of Akatsuki's leader although he camouflaged them quite well - "Anyway... When will we start?"

"When all the preparations are ready" - answered Pain with disdain - "How is the training of our recruit going?"

"Much better than I thought at first" - answered Obito while smiling under his mask - "I would say that he will be ready in a week... although I would recommend giving him one more week to get used to his power and not to be a burden to us".

"I think it's perfect..." - replied Pain as he closed his eyes again.

"We are coming to the end..." - thought Obito as he disappeared from the place - "Let's see how much longer you're going to have that condescension, you little pawn who thinks is in control of everything"

Kurama had reappeared on Mount Myoboku and the first thing he did was go to look for Pa, so he could understand some things.

"Kurama-chan? What are you doing here?" - Shima asked in surprise when she saw the young redhead in his home.

"I'm sorry it's so sudden, Ma... but I need to talk to Pa and you... it's important" - said Kurama seriously.

Shima's expression changed when she heard this, so she used some hand seals as fast as she could. After a few seconds, Fukasaku appeared in the house asking what was going on.

"I'm sorry, Pa... but this is crucial..." - said Kurama when he saw the second of the Two Great Sages of Mount Myoboku.

"Just talk, Gaki... if I can, I'll help you..." - Fukasaku said seriously as he looked at the young redhead.

"I want to know if you can save a baby that is infused with Senjutsu..." - said Kurama as he looked at the two toads with eyes that reflected anguish.

". . ." - Shima and Fukasaku opened their eyes in surprise when they heard this because it brought back memories of the past, of bad memories.

"Please. . ." - said Kurama as he squeezed his hands to the point that blood began to flow with them.

"Kurama-chan... sit down... let's talk calmly..." - said Shima as she motioned for the young man to sit down.

". . ." - Kurama bit his lip but still followed his instructions. He quickly sat down in front of the two Toads and waited for their response.

"The truth is that we know a solution..." - Fukasaku said as he looked at the young redhead with regret - "But it is too risky..."

"Tell me what it is! If it is possible to achieve it, I will do my best to fulfill it!" - exclaimed Kurama with emotion when he heard that there was a solution to his problem.

"First listen to the solution and then tell me whether you accept... - Fukasaku said seriously as he looked at his youngest student - "The only method of solving your problem is the same one Hashirama did so many years ago.

"!" - Kurama opened his eyes when he saw this - "Please continue..."

"Ok... the method is simple" - continued Fukasaku while looking at his wife - "The only thing the mother has to do is to practice Senjutsu and thus harmonize both her energy and that of the baby..."

". . ." - Kurama understood this immediately but it also meant one thing.

"As you have already practiced Senjutsu, it is obvious that you know what the biggest problem is. It is possible that both the mother and the baby will not be able to pass the training..." - Fukasaku said with regret - "Hashirama told Mito about this, and she agreed to practice Senjutsu but things didn't work out. Yes, Mito had no problem but the baby was a separate issue... the baby could not bear the concentration of Senjutsu chakra in her weak newly formed Tenketsus"

"!" - Kurama started to tremble when he heard this because he didn't expect this answer - "THAT... that means that..."

"Exactly... Mito lost the baby, and we had to perform an emergency operation to extract it from the mother..." - Shima responded with pain as she recalled Mito's devastated expression. Fukasaku said nothing but his expression showed how much pain he was in.

The toads were kind creatures who cared for their own, that is why when they saw the devastating expression of poor mother Uzumaki, the two Old Toads could not help but cry for their loss along with the family.

"That's why you have to be sure that you want to continue with this, Kurama boy" - said Fukasaku seriously - "There is nothing more painful than losing a child..."

". . ." - Kurama was silent as he bit his lip - "Tell me, Pa... What do you think is the probability of success?"

"It's low, Kurama boy" - Fukasaku said seriously - "Although not as low as Hashirama's... after all, you have a pseudo-sage body, that makes your Nature Energy much more manageable than Hashirama's back then..."

"Please... give me a percentage" - said Kurama as he looked at the toad seriously.

"I'd say you have a 20% chance of making it," Fukasaku replied.

"What if there are 6 babies?" - asked Kurama as he bit his lip.

". . ." - the two toads were silent as they opened their eyes in terror.

"Please, Ma... I want you to be honest with me. - said Kurama as he looked at the two silent toads.

"Kurama-kun... that complicates things too much..." - replied Shima as she shook her head.

"Kurama boy... I'm sorry to tell you that it would only be 0.1%" - added Fukasaku with regret - "If it were only a baby, we could try to do some things to increase that percentage... but with so many babies inside the mother, the number of variables increases considerably...".

". . ." - Kurama was silent when he heard this as he bit his lip to the point that it started to bleed - "No... there is no way to increase that percentage... Right?"

The two toads looked at each other for a few seconds before they rushed to think of a solution.

"I would have to ask Ojiji-sama..." - Fukasaku muttered as he frowned because he could not find a possible answer for the redhead - "Give me a few days to talk to Ojiji-sama and I can give you an answer..."

"Accept, Kurama-chan... if there is someone who might know the answer to your problem, it is Gamamaru-sama" - added Shima while trying to comfort the boy - "Gamamaru-sama can see the future, so he may know something"

"Thank you..." - murmured Kurama as he bowed in front of the two toads - "It doesn't matter if he doesn't know anything... I'm grateful to him for giving me an answer..."

"You don't have to thank us, Kurama-chan" - smiled Shima as she helped the redhead stand up - "After all, you are part of our family"
