Cap 244: This draws a smile on my face

"This brings back memories... bad memories..." - said Yugao when seeing how the young Inari was on the floor breathing with agitation after training for an hour under the command of the Uzumaki man - "I swear to God that you, members of the Uzumaki clan are unable to control yourselves... not all of us have your superhuman vitality and resistance"

"It's for your good," replied Kurama calmly as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Of course..." - Yugao snorted as she recalled that Kushina had said something similar when she trained her in her youth - "Seriously, you'd better stop doing those things or you'll traumatize all your trainees"

"It's not that bad..." - responded Kurama with a forced smile because it was obvious that Yugao did not want to let the subject drop.

"Believe me when I tell you that I still have nightmares from when I was trained by Kushina-sama, I even developed a deep fear of honey... don't ask why" - said Yugao as her eyes darkened.

"Ok, I apologize for Kushi-chan's actions" - answered Kurama as he shook his head - "I promise that I will not be so hard on Inari, although it is thanks to this hellish training that he is slowly approaching the level of the boys who have trained since his youth"

"Okay, that's a good point" - Yugao nodded because she could see the clear improvements Inari had made during the training - " By the way... How long has he been training?"

"I would say about a year or so," responded Kurama as he began to think, "Or at least that long if my memory doesn't fail me, although seeing all the events that have happened lately, I wouldn't be surprised to know that I am wrong"

"Hmm..." - Yugao began to think about the situation, only to understand how things were getting worse.

"Ok, the break is over, it's time to continue" - said Kurama as he watched Inari tremble on the floor before getting up weakly.

"As I said, you should relax a bit" - said Yugao as she shook her head.

"No... I want to be stronger" - responded Inari as he gritted his teeth in pain while giving her a serious look - "I have to be if I want to protect Kaasan and Jiji"

Kurama nodded when he heard his student's conviction-filled words - "It is time to continue training, but first..."

Kurama quickly placed his hand on the boy's body and infused it with a little of his chakra to relax his muscles.

"There, that will do it," Kurama nodded calmly as he nodded firmly.

"Thank you, Sensei!" - exclaimed Inari as he continued to train steadily - "One, two... One, two... One, two..."

"Okay, that was impressive" - said Yugao as she nodded. If she had had this method of recovery, her training with Kushina wouldn't have been as bad as she remembered.

"If you want, I can help you train," said Kurama with a 'friendly' smile on his face - "Tell me... Do you want a shot?"

"I feel that I will regret this, but I accept," said Yugao as she shook her head, not knowing that her thoughts were correct.

"This confirms it, all the Uzumaki are sadists..." - murmured Yugao with exhaustion.

"In my defense, you are a trained Anbu, so you can withstand much more training than Inari," said Kurama as he shrugged off the woman who fell to the ground in fatigue - "Tell me... How do you feel?"

"Like hell" - answered Yugao as she stood up with difficulty - "Although I have to admit I haven't trained in years..."

"Why?" - asked Inari as he looked at the woman - "I thought that the Anbu had to be training constantly because they had to be at their best for their work"

"Normally I would be like this... but I..." - said Yugao as a melancholy expression invaded her face - "Let's just say that I wasn't at my best during these last years..."

Inari was even more curious about the situation, but upon noticing the expression of his sensei, he decided that it was better not to mess up.

"I'm sorry I showed that expression" - said Yugao while shaking her head - "And thank you very much for helping me train again, Kurama-sama"

"No problem" - Kurama nodded as he smiled - "By the way, I'm sure Kushi-chan would like to know about your new desire to train".

"Oh god no" - said Yugao as an expression of absolute terror appeared on her face - "Please don't tell Kushina-sama that I want to train again"

Kurama only smiled when he heard this without answering.

Two days had passed since Yugao had arrived in Uzu with the other new inhabitants.

"Come on, Yugao-chan!" - exclaimed Kushina as she looked at her former student training - "Just five more laps around Uzushio!"

"How did this happen?!" - exclaimed Yugao wearily because she knew that Kurama had not spoken about her desire to train to Kushina.

"Sensei's feeling, Yugao-chan" - smiled Kushina as she looked at the purple-haired woman - "Now keep running because you still have a long way to go!"

"Oh my..." - Yugao groaned in pain as she continued running because she knew that things would not end well if the slave driver caught her slacking off.

"By the way... Where is Kurama-kun?" - asked Mikoto as she played with her daughter.

"He said he would go on a little training trip with Inari," Kushina replied calmly as she looked at the black-haired woman.

"I see," nodded Mikoto as the others watched as the purple-haired girl continued to train.

"I have said it once and I repeat it, all Uzumaki are sadists!" - exclaimed Yugao with exhaustion as she felt a chill run down her back.

"Okay, I'll give you the special sadistic treatment ~" - said Kushina with a tender smile that froze the poor Anbu of Konoha.

"I want to go back to Konoha" - shouted Yugao with fear because she could remember the Honey.

"Are you sure about this, sensei?" - asked Inari as he looked down and noticed how high they were.

"Calm down, everything is perfectly planned," replied Kurama calmly as he looked at his disciple.

"I still think it is not a good idea..." - said Inari as he shook his head in terror.

"As I said, I'm not asking you to jump into the unknown, I'm not so moron as to think of such a stupid plan to release your potential" - said Kurama as he rolled his eyes at his student, not knowing that, in another dimension, a white-haired, elderly man was sneezing as he threw a blond boy off a cliff.

"Ok, I'm going to trust you, sensei" - said Inari as he walked to the edge of the cliff and got into a horse pose to start his training.

"Well, now you just have to concentrate and keep your balance" - said Kurama seriously as he watched Inari nodding firmly.

The young disciple closed his eyes for a second before he felt a huge current of wind coming towards him - "!"

"Stay focused, Inari," said Kurama seriously as he watched Inari's body retreat because the wind pressure was too strong.

"Concentrate, Inari!" - exclaimed Kurama as he watched his disciple's body continue to retreat - "Just hold on for 10 minutes there!"

"O-Ok! - exclaimed Inari as he gritted his teeth firmly - "You can do it Inari, I know you can do it!"

Kurama nodded when he saw Inari's attitude with a smile on his face, only to notice how the boy's legs were shaking - "Inari, you can go back!"

"No! I know I can do it, sensei!" - exclaimed Inari as he continued with his eyes closed.

"Ok..." - Kurama only nodded as he looked at the boy, but to make sure nothing out of the ordinary happened.

The minutes passed slowly as the young Inari continued to resist the strong current of wind, only to feel the forced escape from his body - "Ugh..."

"Easy, I got you" - said Kurama as he used his chains to grab the young boy.

"Ugh... thank you..." - said Inari with a tired smile.

"I'm proud that you made it, Inari" - said Kurama with a smile as he took the boy carefully and they disappeared in a red flash, only to reappear at the base of the cliff - "You have all day to rest after that".

"No... I want to continue training, sensei..." - said Inari as he sat quietly.

"No, rest is just as important as training, Inari" - said Kurama seriously as he looked at his disciple - "More so when you've been in such a dangerous circumstance"

"It was not dangerous, sensei..." - replied Inari with a smile - "I know you won't let anything happen to me"

"Of course, I won't let anything happen to you, Inari," said Kurama as he stroked the boy's hair. "You are my only disciple, so I have to make sure that you not only become strong but also safe"

". . ." - Inari was silent when he heard this as his expression became melancholic.

"What is it, Inari?" - asked Kurama as he looked at the boy.

"It's nothing, sensei. It's just that I'm jealous of your children..." - said Inari as he sighed - "If you care about me like this now that I am your disciple, it is not surprising how much you care about your children...".

Kurama smiled at the boy as he stood at the same height as him - "Calm down, Inari... You, as my disciple, are like my son"

"Thank you... sensei..." - said Inari with a smile
