Cap 277: Past, Discovery (3)

". . ." - Konan could only sigh with regret when she heard this because she sincerely did not want to mix these three personalities. She knew that if she did, her emotions would return, even those she did not want to feel again, such as pain, sadness and lust.

"What is the probability that you will cause me to become brain-dead?" - Konan asked neutrally.

"90%," answered Kurama seriously.

"Oh..." - Konan just said that before sighing with regret - "Okay, how do we do this?"

"It's simple, the painful and easy option is that you attack us until we become one" - said Konan(?) as she began to think - "The second option is a little more complicated, you have to find a catalyst and use it to absorb us"

"Catalyst?" - Konan asked as she raised an eyebrow because she didn't understand what she was trying to say.

"Exactly, you have to find something that connects us and use that connection to absorb us," Konan replied (?) seriously.

". . ." - Konan was silent for a few seconds before she frowned - "But what kind of catalyst could I use?"

"I can't answer that, but what I can tell you, is that the catalyst you will use has to be something that we desire with our whole being," Konan replied firmly.

". . ." - Konan started to think for a few seconds without results - "This will be much more difficult than I thought? Tell me, is there any difference between the two methods?"

"The first one is fast, but it has a high probability of not merging our entities, making you acquire a double personality in the process" - answered Konan(?) seriously.

"Ugh... I guess we'll do it the hard way" - sighed Konan as she thought to herself - "Isn't there some way you can tell me you want to use it as a catalyst?"

"Actually, yes we can, the problem would be that we are a little greedy with our requests" - answered Konan(?) with a huge smile.

"You can't be that bad, you are me," said Konan as she shook her head with her typical Stoic expression.

"Well, I want you to use as a catalyst, your happiness" - replied Konan(?) with a smile - "I am sure that Lust desires... well, it's obvious"

". . ." - Konan did not know how to react to these words because she did not expect to hear something about happiness, lust was something she expected, but what her other self said left her shaken.

"I suppose it makes sense, your inner self wants you to be happy, that's why it's trying to find ways to achieve its goal" - agreed Kurama, who had been listening to the conversation between the two Konan's - "She's eager for you to have a future, I suppose to help you overcome all your suffering"

The inner Konan only smiled at the redhead's words, though she said nothing to accept or deny his words.

Konan frowned when she heard this because Kurama sounded as if her inner self was her mother and she was just a teenager going through her first identity crisis.

"As grateful as I am for your good intentions, it is impossible for me to be happy," Konan replied as she shook her head, "I decided to leave all those emotions behind..."

"Everyone can be happy, Konan" - answered Konan(?) while looking with compassion at her outer self - "You just have to try to find that happiness and fight for it"

". . ." - Konan was silent for a few seconds before closing her eyes - "Even if I wanted to try to find my happiness, it's impossible to do so here"

"Nothing is impossible if you try" - answered Konan(?) with a smile as she looked at the redhead.

"The what for whom?" - asked Kurama as he noticed the look of the blue-haired woman.

"Uzumaki Kurama?" - asked Konan as she looked at the red-headed man with a frown - "His appearance is OK, but I don't think it will work"

"It's either that or being locked up for a long time" - answered Konan(?) while shrugging her shoulders - "Besides, he's not a bad choice, from your memories I can see that he loves his family and during his journey through our memories, I could feel empathy"

"Tsunade went through something similar to you..." - responded Kurama while closing his eyes - "When she received the news of her pregnancy, she was also informed about the possible loss of one of the babies..."

Kurama told them about the situation the blonde Senju had gone through, only to notice how the two blue-haired women were silent.

"I wish Yahiko had been like you..." - whispered Konan(?) as she sighed with regret. The external Konan nodded weakly at her words, although she could now say that she had a very small connection with the redhead, although this was only more of a feeling born among acquaintances.

"Why don't you guys get to know each other a bit?" - asked Konan(?) as she looked at her outer self and the redhead - "Time in this place is much slower than outside, not to mention that whoever caught us in this place made time go even slower"

"What's the time difference?" - asked Kurama as he raised an eyebrow because he had a slight feeling of who was to blame for this situation.

"I would say a year in here, it's a few hours outside" - answered Konan(?) while tilting her head - "Normally the time would be a day in here, an hour outside, although I'm not complaining, with this we can solve things without wasting too much time"

". . ." - Kurama only sighed when he heard this because it confirmed it. His other self, was responsible for this strange situation - "By the way, it is strange that your personality Lust is so calm, normally that type of desire is the most active..."

"That's because it is sealed" - answered Konan(?) while shrugging her shoulders - "Unlike me, the outer Konan completely sealed her desire for pleasure"

". . ." - Konan nodded when he heard this. She could still feel some emotions, so the words of her inner self were not wrong.

"Okay, that explains a few things," replied Kurama as he looked at the two blue-haired women, "So... What do we have to do now?"

"As I said, talk a bit, talk about your lives, your likes, your desires for the future" - answered Konan(?) with a smile.

"It feels strange to see such a lively you," whispered Kurama. He had not known this woman for long, but he knew she was as cold as the highest mountain in these lands.

"Believe me, I am a little confused too..." - replied Konan with neutrality, although she had to admit that seeing her old personality brought back some happy moments among all those bad memories.

* * * * *

Neither of them knew how much time had passed, only that enough time had passed for the two of them to get to know each other a little better.

"You see? You're not so different," replied Konan(?) with a smile.

"We are quite different, we don't even have the same tastes" - answered Kurama while giving him a blank look.

"That bad?" - asked Konan(?) with a forced smile.

". . ." - External Konan only nodded neutrally.

"Oh... I guess things couldn't be that good," replied Konan(?) as she shrugged. "At least you don't hate each other anymore"

"Honestly, I didn't hate Konan" - answered Kurama while looking at the two blue-haired women.

"I didn't hate Uzumaki Kurama, he was just part of the plan" - answered Konan calmly.

"Ok, to say that they have nothing in common, they are equally annoying" - said Konan(?) as she rolled her eyes - "Anyway, at least it's an advance"

"A slow progress, if this continues, we won't be able to go out for at least another year" - said Konan with a frown - " By the way, how long has it been?"

"I don't know, a day at the most" - answered Konan(?) as she shook her head - "You better keep improving your relationship if you want to get out of this place, good luck"

That said, Konan(?) disappeared from the scene.

"This will be a long year..." - murmured Kurama as Konan sighed with regret.

* * * * *

"I guess that gives them enough time to get along better" - said Konan(?) as she reappeared at the site, only to open her eyes in surprise as everything seemed to have changed too much - "What the fuck just happened?!"

In front of her now was a huge house with a beautiful, lush garden.

"Oh, you're back," said Kurama normally. "How long has it been?"

"About a week..." - replied Konan(?) just to shake her head - "That doesn't matter! How the hell did those things show up in this place?!"

"We're in your head, you can invoke whatever you want" - answered Kurama while giving a blank look at the woman who had just arrived.

"Do you have a three?" - asked Konan neutrally.

"Go fish," replied Kurama only to hear the woman click her tongue in irritation - "Do you want to play?"

"I feel that I am the only one who is struggling out of the three..." - murmured Konan(?) as she sighed with sorrow.

"Don't worry, we've made progress on what you said, we're friends now," replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders.
