Cap 292: I'M GOING TO KILL THEM! (3)

"Ugh..." - Kushina groaned as she slowly opened her eyes, only to see how she was in an unfamiliar room - "Where am I?"

"You are in the hospital of Tetsu no Kuni" - answered Kakashi as he entered the room, only to let out a sigh of relief as he saw how the redhead had woken up. He was aware that if something happened to the redhead in front of his eyes, Kurama would unleash chaos in the Elemental Nations, although remembering the current situation of Samui and Yugito, it was quite obvious that things were about to get out of control.

". . ." - Kushina took her head away from the headache she was feeling, only to open her eyes in surprise - "Right, Yugito-chan, Samui-san! How are they?!"

". . ." - Kakashi could only breathe a sigh as he explained the situation to the red-haired woman, only to notice how she lay down again as tears ran down her cheeks - "Kushina-sama..."

"They..." - Kushina murmured as she bit her lip to be able to resist the emotions that were growing in her chest because this was the first time that the Uzumaki clan suffered a defeat, and not just any defeat, but one that ended with the loss of two of their irreplaceable members - ". . ."

She slowly shook her head as she stood up with difficulty, only to walk in the direction of Samui's room.

Kushina slowly entered the room, just to see how Kumo's blonde woman was lying on a stretcher with an oxygen mask over her face and a countless number of wires connected to her body, checking her condition as accurately as possible - "Samui-san..."

"According to the doctors... she will never be able to work as Kunoichi again..." - answered Kakashi while he was looking down - "Samui-san received direct damage in all her Tenketsu, she cannot circulate her chakra like a normal person, that is why it is even possible that she remains in a vegetable state..."

"!" - Kushina could not contain herself anymore when she heard this. She quickly disappeared in a flash of red no matter what pain or tiredness she felt, only to reappear with a serious Tsunade.

"Kushina told me what was happening..." - Tsunade replied as she nodded to the current Hokage - "I'll see what I can do... although to make sure I can do something, I'll have to check Samui-san's medical information"

"The doctors are in the next room, checking Samui-dono's progress" - replied Kakashi, only to see the blonde say nothing more. Tsunade slowly left the room with a Stoic expression on her face, only to speak directly to the doctors about her findings.

After a few minutes, Tsunade returned with her clothes changed, showing that she was about to get ready for work.

"Tsunade..." - said Kushina as she looked at the large-breasted blonde.

"Listen, Kushina... this is serious, very serious" - said Tsunade while looking at the red-haired woman - "Samui-san not only received direct damage to her Tenketsu but to her entire chakra network, that means that it cannot circulate through her body, I don't have to tell you what will happen when a body cannot generate chakra"

". . ." - Kushina was silent when she heard this because from the Academy they had been informed that the chakra was their source of life, if it disappeared, then they would die, that is why having insufficient chakra was lethal for them, as well as why people with little chakra were forced to not enter the shinobi program.

"I can only tell you one thing, I can save Samui-san, I can make her walk again, but the consequences will be severe for her" - responded Tsunade while she shook her head - "When my medical peers said that she would not be able to exercise as Kunoichi again, they were serious. Samui-san will not be able to work as a shinobi again because her chakra network is unusable and the only way to save her is to use all my medical knowledge to create an artificial Tenketsu over her heart so that she can use her veins and arteries as a pseudo chakra network, although this will only make it possible for her to survive as a normal person, because if she were to use more of her chakra, then her heart would not be able to cope".

". . ." - Kushina nodded weakly as she looked at Kumo's blond woman, only to let out a sigh.

"Easy, Kushina... I promise you she will be safe in my hands," Tsunade replied seriously as a group of doctors entered through the door.

"I am sorry to have to ask you to leave, we are about to start the operation, and we cannot allow any distractions" - said one of the doctors.

Kushina and Kakashi nodded weakly as they left quietly, only to find Mabui and Karui.

"Samui... Yugito..." - Karui murmured as she clenched her fists with fury. She felt so helpless that words could not describe how low she felt.

"Kushina-san..." - said Mabui as she looked at the red-haired woman - "Samui-chan..."

"She... will never be a kunoichi again..." - answered Kushina as she looked down - "But she will be safe, I brought Tsunade to help her"

Mabui and Karui copied Kushina's actions, only to start crying when they heard the news. They knew how important her shinobi career was to Samui, and now she had lost it.

"I don't know Samui as well as you do, so I'm only going to ask you one thing..." - said Kushina as she looked at the two Kumo girls - "I want you to be by her side, to support her, not to leave her alone"

"What will you do, Kushina-sama?" - asked Karui as she clenched her fist because she was feeling that the other redhead was leaving them all the work.

"I... I will try to stop Kuro-chan from doing something crazy when he finds out what has just happened" - answered Kushina with a serious expression - "I cannot allow him to do what Akatsuki wants..."

"!" - Mabui and Karui opened their eyes in surprise when they remembered this. It was obvious that Kurama would go into a state of uncontrollable rage when he heard that not only Kushina had been hurt, but also Samui was in a coma and Yugito had been captured, but their expressions changed when they heard something they feared.

"I'M GOING TO KILL THEM!" - roared Kurama from outside the place.

Kushina ran towards the exit, only to see a huge nine-tailed fox looking north. Its eyes full of evil, the dark chakra surrounding its body, and the tribal marks that seemed to be shining with malice, made the enormous beast look like an entity that would bring about the end of the world.

This huge beast was none other than Kurama, who had completed his three-year training inside the [Hyperbolic Time Chamber], although at this point he would have wished he had not taken so long.

"I PROMISE YOU THAT YOUR DEATHS WILL NOT BE QUICK AND PAINLESS!" - roared the huge Bijuu as he began to concentrate chakra on his legs, but his expression changed when he heard Kushina's voice trying to stop him - ". . ."

"Don't go, Kuro-chan!" - exclaimed Kushina as she ran in the direction of the beast - "That's what they want! They want you to grow angry and do things you normally wouldn't do!"

"THOSE SONS OF BITCHES ARE GOING TO KILL HER! - roared Kurama as he felt his emotions begin to spiral out of control.

"Please calm down, Kuro-chan! - shouted Kushina with tears in her eyes - "You're distracting the doctors who are treating Samui-san!"

Kurama went blank when he heard this. He slowly looked at the redheaded woman who had accompanied him all these years before gritting his teeth in anger.

Kushina could see that Kurama was making an astronomical effort to try to calm down, only to let out a sigh when he saw how the huge beast began to reduce its size to the point that after a few seconds he was no bigger than a normal person.

Kurama slowly took his human form again, only to clench his fists to the point that his hands began to bleed. He could hear Matatabi and Yugito screaming in pain in the distance, making it much harder to resist the urge to run to their aid.

He was truly at a crossroads. If he ran to help Yugito, then he would fall into Akatsuki's trap, and at the same time endanger Kushina and the others because he would leave them unprotected for another attack. On the other hand, if I did not help Yugito, he would feel that he was betraying their trust, after all, Yugito was someone he loved, not on a romantic level, but the level of a close friend, not to mention that Matatabi was his beloved Imouto, the only Bijuu he had loved since they were cubs.

"Kuro-chan..." - said Kushina as she held the redhead's hand, only to notice how tense he was - ". . ."

Kurama gave the red-haired woman a look, only to let out a sigh full of pain. He had made a decision, one that was tearing him apart inside.
