The Legend of the Kyubi

"WE CAN'T FIGHT HIM!" - shouted an Iwa shinobi as he tried to escape, only to fall to the ground dead because a Kunai had impacted his skull.     

"I hate cowards," Madara murmured coldly as he appeared behind the shinobi and burned his body. "There is no greater dishonor for a shinobi than to run from a battle"     

". . ." - Onoki clenched his teeth furiously because seeing his direct subordinate escape was a direct blow to his face - "What are you waiting for? Attack!"     

Madara watched carefully as all the shinobis under Onoki's command threw themselves at him.     

The Jutsus flew in his direction while he just snorted at them with disdain - "No matter how much you try... everything is useless... Uchihagaeshi (Return of the Uchiha)"     

"Stop!" - shouted Onoki as he opened his eyes in terror - "Get back, quick!"     

But to his despair, his shinobis were too slow.     

Madara mirrored all the attacks that were about to hit him, only to calmly make a series of hand seals - "You're still a slow one, young Onoki... Katon: Gouka Mekkyaku"     

He finished speaking and Madara expelled a large amount of fire from his mouth, causing a new wave of terror in his enemies.     

"Everyone behind me!" - roared Onoki as he made hand seals - "All Doton users, I want you to follow my instructions! Doton: Doryuheki!"     

Onoki invoked a huge wall of earth, only to let out a sigh when he saw a huge number of walls appear in front of and behind the wall he had made.

"Keep using your chakra!" - roared Onoki as he focused all his energy on his Jutsu.     

"Interesting... all that effort is admirable..." - said Madara calmly as he began making hand seals because he knew his enemies would succeed in stopping his Jutsu - "But... it's not enough to stop me... Tengai... Shinsei (Shattered Heaven)..."     

At the moment that the Uchiha said those words, the fire invaded by his technique disappeared and a deep silence invaded the place.     

"No..." - murmured an Inuzuka as he looked up at the sky when he heard something approaching - "It is impossible..."     

"?" - the others looked in the direction that Konoha's shinobi was watching, only to feel their legs lose their strength. They just fell to their knees while biting their lips so as not to scream.

"Grandfather!" - Onoki could only open his eyes in terror when he heard his granddaughter's voice in this place - "What the hell are you doing here, Brat?!"     

"I had come to help!" - replied Kurotsuchi as she stared with her pale face in terror at the falling star - "But..."     

"It doesn't matter why you came! You have to run away from this place now!" - roared Onoki as he bit his lip - "No... Everyone has to get out of this place while I stop that thing!"     

"What are you planning to do, you old fool?!" - exclaimed Kurotsuchi in terror as she heard old Tsuchikage's words.     

"What every leader must do," Onoki answered seriously as he mustered all his chakra and courage - "What a grandfather must do..."     

Kurotsuchi tried to say something but was silent when she saw her grandfather's eyes.     

"Kurotsuchi..." - said Onoki, but he was silent as he was about to continue with his words because at this moment there was no time to lose. His body began to shine with great intensity as he released all the chakra he had.     

Without thinking twice, Onoki jumped while ignoring the amused look Madara had when he saw the efforts old Tsuchikage was making to save his subordinates.     

"This is for our victory, for our destiny!" - roared Onoki as he reached the side of the huge meteorite.     

"Grandfather!" - shouted Kurotsuchi as he realized what would happen next.     

"Get all the shinobis out of here, Kurotsuchi!" - roared Onoki as he looked at his granddaughter - "We need all the help we can get!"     

"But what about you?" exclaimed Kurotsuchi with tears in her eyes as she thought of a possible solution.     

"I am old... I have lived more than enough in this world..." - Onoki murmured as he looked at his granddaughter, then at the huge rock - "I have done many things during all these years, good things, but mostly bad ones, and the only thing I regret now that I have reached this situation... is not being able to see your children when they are born, Kurotsuchi..."     

Kurotsuchi blushed when she heard this, but she quickly shook her head because it was not the time for that sort of thing.     

"Good luck... Kurotsuchi..." - murmured Onoki as he gave his granddaughter one last smile, only to suddenly release the entire chakra inside his body - "Doton: Chokeijugan no Jutsu (Earth Element: Ultra Light Rock Jutsu)!     

When those words were released, the great stone suddenly broke its fall, causing the allied shinobis to do nothing but celebrate with emotion.     

"He did it!" - shouted an Iwa shinobi with excitement - "Onoki-sama managed to stop that thing!"     

"We will not die!" - shouted another shinobi as tears streamed down his cheeks - "We will not die today!"     

"Run, you fools!" - roared Kurotsuchi in terror. Something inside her told her that things were about to get worse, not to mention that she knew her grandfather could not last long in stopping that thing - "Don't let the efforts my grandfather is making be for nothing!     

"But... Onoki-sama finally stopped that thing, now we are safe" - said a shinobi from Takigakure no Sato as he looked at the granddaughter of the man who had saved them.

"Bijuudama..." - Madara responded calmly as he looked at the man responsible for destroying his technique - "It has been a long time, Kyubi no Kitsune, though you look quite different from what I remember"     

"Don't talk to me as if I were your friend, Madara," grunted Kurama as he began to release his threatening chakra. "Now, I ask you kindly to resist, so that I may have the satisfaction of slowly tearing your soul apart"

"And that little problem is that you messed with the wrong Bijuu, Madara," said Kurama coldly. "You went down the foxhole for the cubs, and now you're going to have to face the parents..."
