Cap 316: Stop flirting with the old man's mother.

Sasuke shivered at the woman's cold stare as she looked at them with mild curiosity - "You... I sense a familiar aura..."

Kaguya slowly walked in their direction, only to frown as she noticed how one of them backed away - "Are you afraid of me?"

Sasuke didn't answer her, he could feel a huge amount of sweat running down his forehead.

Kaguya frowned as she could feel her blood resonating with the two boys, even more so with the redhead - "You are Indra and Ashura..."

Kurama narrowed his gaze for a few seconds before snapping back to guard because something told him that the woman in front of them wasn't walking in their direction just to talk.

"I don't understand..." - Kaguya muttered as she frowned even more - "I'm just trying to bring peace to the world..."

"No... what you seek is absolute control" - replied Kurama as he used one of his tails to flick at his friend to calm him down.

"I thank you for talking some sense into me, but I would have preferred another method" - said Sasuke with irritation.

"Quiet, this is the part where the villain says his monologue" - replied Kurama as he signaled the woman to continue.

". . ." - Kaguya looked at him silently for a few seconds before shaking her head - "I feel like you're a strange being... you're just like me..."

"He's a little crazy, but I don't think he's as bad as you" - Sasuke said as he stepped back when he saw a white bone, headed in his direction.

"Well done, Sasuke, keep annoying a primordial goddess" - Kurama said as he rolled his eyes at him, then looked at the woman - "Please continue."

"No... there's no need to continue..." - Kaguya said as she started to concentrate her chakra - "My words won't change anything..."

"Oh, come on, I know you guys like to tell your plans to gloat for your superior intellect" - said Kurama calmly as he noticed how the woman frowned.

"You are someone strange, my similar..." - Kaguya said as she looked at the red-haired young man.

"You keep calling me similar, but I don't understand why" - Kurama replied as he shook his head at the woman's words.

"You are just like me, you have a physical body, but much of it is composed of chakra..." - Kaguya replied as she looked at the redhead - "Our bodies have reached the limit of what this world allows."

Kaguya wasn't lying, she had a huge interest in the redhead because he was the only person who was comparable to her in this world, not even her children were as close to her in this aspect, though this she attributed it to was because ironically the dominant genes were those of her once husband.

"I feel like my words are coming true..." - Sasuke muttered as he noticed how the woman was looking at the redhead, only to shake his head - "Can't you pass a day without conquering the mother of one of your acquaintances?"

"I haven't done anything" - Kurama replied while frowning.

"You're someone annoying, Indra" - Kaguya said while looking at the Uchiha - "Maybe I should kill you so I can talk in peace with Ashura..."

That was the moment where Sasuke decided to raise his hands in surrender and take a few steps back, telling the redhead that he'd better let him handle it.

Kaguya gave the Uchiha one last neutral look before turning her focus back to Kurama.

"You still won't tell us what you want..." - Kurama said seriously as he looked at the white-haired woman.

"Peace..." - Kaguya replied as she looked at the red-haired man - "That's what I wish for..."

"Not the best way to do it" - said Sasuke, only to dodge the white bone coming towards him - "Come to think of it... Shouldn't we be fighting to save everyone?"

Kurama just rolled his eyes at his friend because he had noticed that the best way to do it was to distract Kaguya because as long as she was concentrating on them, the chakra absorption would be almost non-existent compared to a situation where she was forced to fight.

"Chakra is a mistake in the hands of mortals" - Kaguya said neutrally as she focused on the redhead again - "Humans only wish to use it for their own benefits, that's why Hagoromo was a fool..."

Kurama said nothing at this because it was an irrefutable truth that the humans had misused the blessing Hagoromo had given them.

"From your look, I can tell that you think the same as me" - nodded Kaguya calmly while an almost imperceptible smile appeared on her face - "I feel a huge resonance in you, that tells me that part of the reason for your 'evolution', is thanks to you being part of the Shinju like me... interesting..."

Kurama frowned when he heard this because that was deadly dangerous for him. Kaguya only had to command the Shinju to assimilate him and he would be nothing more than a mindless entity, though his expression changed to one of surprise when he heard the woman's next words.

"Though at the same time you are an independent entity, the strangest thing is that you can't be assimilated..." - Kaguya continued while frowning because she had never thought that something like that would happen - "Are you really part of the Shinju?"

Kurama fell into a deep silence as he thought at full speed - "Maybe it's because of the effects of my 'Adaptation' ability?"

"Anyway, that's not important anymore..." - Kaguya said as she refocused her full attention on the red-haired man - "As a being who shares my thoughts, join me, and together we can bring true peace to this world, a peace that will last for eternity."

"That sounds like a marriage proposal" - Sasuke said unconsciously, only to widen his eyes in surprise as he saw a huge number of roots spring up around him - "Oh..."

Kaguya's eyebrow started to twitch from the huge irritation she felt, only to calm down after seeing how the Shinju roots played Pingpong with the young Uchiha - "As I was saying, join me and there will be no more wars, violence, betrayal..."

"You say that from your own experience?" - Sasuke asked as he groaned in pain after being struck by the vines, only to notice how Kaguya appeared in front of him and gave him a firm punch that plunged him to the ground.

"Be quiet, Indra..." - Kaguya said coolly as her chakra began to become erratic.

"Well done Teme-chan" - said Kurama as he saw how the woman was enraged - "I think you have a natural-born talent to get the [Agro] of the primordial goddesses..."

". . ." - Sasuke didn't answer him right away, he just started asking for help.

Kaguya gave a cold stare to the red-haired man who only held up his hands while telling her that he hadn't done anything. She paused for a few seconds before continuing to hit Sasuke.

"Fucking traitor Dobe!" - Sasuke roared as he saw how Kaguya only focused on him.

"This is fun" - smirked Kurama, only for his smile to disappear as he noticed the world's chakra absorption begin to resume - "Shit!"

"Enough with the games" - Kaguya said coldly as she grabbed Sasuke by the neck and threw him away like he was a rag doll - "It's time to put an end to this..."

The earth began to tremble as the cocoons surrounding the world's inhabitants slowly rose next to the branches of the God Tree.

"Now all that remains is to wait, soon all of humanity will lose their chakra" - Kaguya said as she looked at the two young men - "And when that happens, they will be nothing more than an empty shell."

". . ." - Kurama frowned when he heard this as he noticed how Sasuke struggled to his feet.

"And when that happens, they will slowly become White Zetsu!" - Kaguya exclaimed as her chakra grew with each passing second - "They will be released from their fears and can finally be free!"

"I'm sorry, but that's something I can't allow" - Kurama said seriously as his Rinnegan glowed with malice.

"I'm not going to let you go through with your plans either..." - Sasuke said coldly as his Rinne Sharingan glowed slightly.

"That's too bad..." - Kaguya replied while ignoring Sasuke because to her, he was nothing more than a worm, compared to Kurama who made her feel a certain degree of danger - "Maybe after you see the result, you'll change your mind...".

"It won't be as easy as you think" - Kurama replied as he suddenly released all his chakra, only to pop his neck - "I'm a supporter of true gender equality, so no matter that you're a beautiful woman, I'm going to kick that cute and huge ass of yours!"

Kaguya's expression quickly changed to one of fury because it was the first time in her entire life that she suffered such a level of blasphemy at his person.

"You better stop flirting with the old man's mother" - Sasuke said with clear irritation.
