Cap 322: The War is Over (1)

Kaguya slowly opened her eyes in confusion as she looked around without understanding where she was, only to feel countless memories pop into her mind. She quickly recalled everything she had done over the years, only to scream in terror as she watched all those nightmares pass one after another.

Kurama just watched her silently as he noticed how a portal appeared next to him - "I see you had fun."

"Yeah, keep teasing me..." - Sasuke snorted only to notice the change in his friend's hair coloring - "Do I have to ask?"

"Side effect of my fight against Kaguya" - Kurama replied as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Anything I need to know?" - Sasuke asked again as he looked at the Rabbit Goddess who seemed to have returned to the form she had before eating the Shinju fruit.

"You just need to know that she is no longer a threat" - Kurama replied as he shook his head, only to hold his head as he was still suffering from the effects of having absorbed the corruption that tormented Kaguya.

"I guess I we have no reason to seal her, though that doesn't mean she won't suffer from the consequences of her actions" - Sasuke said as he looked at the red moon - "For now let's get rid of that shit."

"Sounds like a plan" - nodded Kurama as the two made a hand seal and concentrated their Rikudou Chakra - "Kai!"

Kaguya looked up at the two reincarnations of her grandchildren, only to frown at the realization that they wouldn't do anything against her. She was actually expecting them to seal her away for almost wiping out humanity, but such seemed like that wouldn't happen - "Why?"

"Huh? Did you say something?" - Sasuke asked as he looked at the woman, though he still hadn't let his guard down.

"Why don't you seal me like Hagoromo and Hamura did?" - Kaguya asked as she looked at the two boys - "Isn't it just you wanted to?"

"Normally it would have been like that, but I trust this idiot's words" - said Sasuke seriously while narrowing his eyes - "Though I have to warn you that you better not do anything stupid or we'll seal you like you ask so much."

"Not like you have the power to stand up to her" - Kurama replied as he rolled his eyes at his friend - "He's not lying though, if you do anything out of line, we will seal you for all eternity and believe me when I tell you that it will indeed be forever."

". . ." - Kaguya fell silent when she heard this before looking up at the sky.

The sun slowly peeked from the horizon, as if it was announcing the end of the destruction caused by Akatsuki.

Kaguya slowly shifted the target of her gaze to Kurama and stared at him for a few seconds.

"Is something wrong?" - Kurama asked as he tilted his head in confusion because he didn't sense any kind of evil intent or desire for revenge coming from the woman, although this was obvious because she had been stripped of all the hatred and corruption product of having consumed the Shinju fruit.

"You are someone strange, Uzumaki Kurama..." - Kaguya said as she continued to watch the young Uzumaki's every move - "You managed to stop me just like my sons, but unlike them, you are giving me a new chance despite all my mistakes...."

"Everyone deserves a second chance, or at least those who want to try and thus mend all their actions" - Sasuke replied as he understood his friend's motive - "Though I feel it's mostly because he finds you sexy."

". . ." - Kaguya was silent for a few seconds before focusing on the redhead again - "You find me sexy?"

"Do I have to answer that?" - Kurama asked as he frowned, only to notice how the white haired woman nodded - "Well, I do find you sexy, but that has nothing to do with the fact that I gave you a second chance."

". . ." - Kaguya again remained silent before nodding - "I understand... I guess I know how to start this new second chance."

"I feel like this will be a pain in the ass, but please continue" - Kurama said as he frowned.

"I'd like to live with you" - said Kaguya neutrally.

". . ." - Kurama was silent while looking at Sasuke who was averting his gaze because he didn't want to look him in the eyes - "May I ask why?"

"First of all because I feel a huge blood resonance with you, that means that your blood has been purified so many thanks to my influence that you are now a member of the Otsutsuki clan" - Kaguya answered calmly while her expression remained indifferent - "We walk in pairs, that's why you are the best choice when it comes to housemate, not to mention that it will relieve the other mortals of the Elemental Nations because I will be being watched over by you."

"She has a point with that last one" - said Sasuke while nodding - "If she's with you, all the villages will be able to relax because they know that you don't have megalomaniac tendencies"

"Ok, you can come live with me, although I would like you to accept some conditions from me" - said Kurama calmly.

"Ok, as long as they are in my power, I will fulfill them" - Kaguya answered calmly.

"First, I want you to release my siblings, the Bijuu" - said Kurama as Kaguya's shadow grew and just like before with Madara and Midori, she spat out 6 small silhouettes.

"Ugh... I feel like I'm going to throw up..." - Said a small red monkey with one tail.

"No shit..." - Growled a small kind of ox mixed in with an octopus.

"Does anyone else feel strange?" - asked a small horse-dolphin as it used its tail to stroke its head because it felt like everything was spinning.

"Now that you mention it, I feel extremely weak..." - Replied a white slug.

"Can you guys be quiet, I feel like you're yelling in my ear, nya!" - exclaimed a small blue kitten with different colored eyes - "Ugh... I feel horrible..."

The 6 little figures slowly shook their bodies to shake off the discomfort they felt, only to look around in surprise.

"Huh? Are we safe?" - The cat asked in surprise - "We're safe, nya!"

"Really?!" - exclaimed the other 5 strange beings, only to notice how they were now all in a physical place, not like before they seemed to be in what appeared to be a completely dark place where they couldn't touch anything.

"Done, with that I fulfilled your first condition" - Kaguya said calmly as she ignored the words of the 6 strange beings.

"Kaguya!" - the 6 beings immediately went on guard when they saw the woman, only to feel how they couldn't use any of their abilities.

"What's going on?" - the cat asked with a frown, only to notice how behind her a lone tail was swaying, and what made it worse was that this tail was so small it was barely visible - "This has to be a joke..."

"My tails!" - exclaimed the ox-octopus in terror as he saw how behind him only a small and lonely tail remained if it could even be called that in any way.

"Oh god, Shukaku won't stop pestering us..." - The slug muttered as she lowered her head in annoyance.

". . ." - the horse-dolphin, the monkey, and the strange turtle just screamed in terror as they too were just like their siblings.

"It's good to see that you're all right" - Kurama said as he walked over to the 6 strange beings.

"Kura-nya!" - exclaimed the cat as she jumped into the arms of the young Uzumaki - "You saved us!"

"Kurama?" - The other beings asked while looking at their older brother.

Indeed, those 6 strange beings were none other than the 6 Bijuu that Akatsuki had imprisoned in the Gedo Mazo and they had finally been released.

"It's good to see you guys in good condition... Tabi-chan, guys" - said Kurama with a smile while petting the little cat that started purring.

"A little more to the right, nya ~!" - Matatabi purred as she put on an expression of absolute delight.

"It's not that I don't like seeing you again, but could you tell us what happened?" - Gyuki asked as he frowned.

Kurama explained what had happened to his siblings, only to see them react in different ways.

"Ugh, it's official, Shukaku won't stop annoying us..." - Saiken muttered as she growled in irritation.

"Well... at least we're free..." - Isobu said as he tried to look on the bright side of the situation.

The other Bijuu joined the conversation, with the clear exception of Matatabi who was enjoying how Kurama was scratching behind her ear.

"I already fulfilled your first request, Uzumaki Kurama... tell me what you want me to do next" - Kaguya said as she repeated her words.

The Bijuu remained silent because they didn't know how to react to the presence of their 'grandmother', after all, they were originally part of her.

"The next thing I ask of you is not to try to steal the world's chakra" - Kurama answered seriously.

"I do not need to do so now that I have been stripped of the Shinju's corruption, I don't think I can either because your power is slightly higher than mine after becoming an Otsutsuki" - Kaguya replied while looking normally at the white-haired man.
