The Legend of the Kyubi

Cap 324: Peace

Cap 324: Peace

The Princess Kurama detector, Izumi-chan, led her family in the direction of where her father and older brother were, only for them all to notice with surprise the beautiful woman standing next to them.

"Ten Thousand Ryo that she's a new clan member..." - Tayuya said as the other women gave her a blank stare.

"That's a bet even I know I'm going to lose" - Tsunade said as she rolled her eyes at her noticing the impassive look the woman was giving her husband - "Though for now, I don't sense anything strange coming from her."

"I guess she has to be Otsutsuki Kaguya, you know, the crazy and vengeful goddess who wanted to turn humanity into her slaves" - Kin said as they all looked carefully at the woman - "Am I the only one who thinks Kurama saved her because she's sexy?"

"No..." - replied the others as Kaguya frowned at how disrespectful those women were - "Do you need something?"

"No, they just wanted to welcome you to the clan" - Kushina said with a slightly forced smile.

"Thanks, I guess..." - Kaguya replied neutrally.

"Oh, she's quite the Hyuga..." - muttered Anko as Hanabi gave her a blank look - "What, your whole clan is this stern..."

"At least she said it politely... normally I'd say they all have a stick up their..." - Tayuya said, only to be knocked out by Kushina - "No swearing in front of the kids..."

"I missed that" - nodded Anko with a smile - "I guess that proves it, things are back to normal..."

The other members of the Uzumaki clan, gave the snake charmer a blank look, though they had to admit they missed seeing the poor pink-haired girl, being knocked out by an irate Kushina.

"They're a strange bunch..." - Kaguya muttered with a small smile on her face.

"What happened to your hair, Kuro-chan!" - Kushina exclaimed when she noticed this small detail. The beautiful crimson red hair that showed he was an Uzumaki was gone, now he had silky white hair like Kaguya's.

"I'll explain later, for now, let's go check on the others" - Kurama said as he shook his head.

The women looked at each other before nodding and following their husband, though they had to admit they were curious about the slight change in their beloved's appearance.

"Even my mother ignored me..." - Sasuke muttered as he felt tears begin to gather in his eyes - "I'm not crying, I'm not crying at all..."

* * * * *

Time moved quickly and the night had arrived.

Kurama had verified that no one had died during the execution of the Mugen Tsukuyomi, a matter that greatly relieved the now albino because at least this made things a little easier with Kaguya.

The Uzumaki had explained the situation to the Kage, who honestly wasn't too happy with the idea of having a woman who could bring the end to the world if she lost control, though after Kurama stepped in as the woman's watcher, they reluctantly nodded.

Shukaku enjoyed this victory the most as he couldn't be happier with his brothers' current appearances, though he was silent when Matatabi annihilated him in a matter of seconds despite her much-weakened state.

The shinobi had returned to their respective villages so they could celebrate the victory, with only the higher-ups knowing that the one 'responsible' for it all, was still in the world alongside the person who had defeated her.

The festivities continued for days and by the time everything had calmed down, there was a new reason to celebrate.

* * * * *

"And with this, the new constitution of the Elemental Nations is declared!" - Mifune exclaimed as he looked at all the Kage and village leaders who were gathered in Tetsu no Kuni.

As the villages celebrated the victory over Akatsuki, the leaders had decided it was time to put things behind and begin a new era of peace.

Konoha, along with the other major villages, had decided to contact all the other villages and put an end to all the problems through negotiation. They invited all the leaders to Tetsu no Kuni, a neutral land to decide on how to move forward from now on.

Things had not started well because many of the leaders did not want to follow the path that the Great Villages were proposing, but after Kurama made some things clear and revealed some dark secrets, they reluctantly agreed, although after reading the 'laws' they had to follow, they felt a little better.

The Daimios decided to support the villages, rather than oppose them because they knew things would not end well for them, and this not only caused them to be in the good light of the shinobi but also that their personal 'villages' were now treated with even greater respect.

The simple laws they had created were the first steps to a new era of peace for the Elemental Nations.

As the years passed, slowly society began to evolve.

New ways of using chakra appeared that made people's lives easier.

Things unimaginable to their ancestors appeared in the Elemental Nations.

Vehicles, refrigerators, new forms of energy, architecture, and agriculture appeared, further increasing the productivity of the world, but not only that had happened over the years.

Many other interesting things happened, such as the fact that Kakashi had decided to leave his post as Hokage, four years after the War and had given the post to his student, Uchiha Sasuke, the younger brother of the new leader of the Uchiha clan, Itachi, who now had a cute daughter with his wife Ayane.

Sasuke had become the best leader Konoha could get, and ironically he was an Uchiha. He brought prosperity to the village, all thanks to the skills he had learned from his ancestors, as well as his connection to the Uzumaki clan.

Chojuro had taken over Kiri after Ao could no longer handle the burden of the position.

Kisame had returned to his clan, only to leave it in utter chaos, just to go on a training trip with his best friend Zabuza, who had decided to leave his daughter/son, Haku with her now-husband, Kiba.

Shino married Fuu and now they are happy together with Choumei, who decided to become the guardian of the Aburame clan.

Gaara became so popular in Suna, that it was no surprise that many girls wanted to become the future Mrs. "Sabaku", although he remained impassive, or at least it would be so if his friends did not know that he was surprisingly dating Maki, Pakura's adopted daughter. Kankuro on the other hand was now living a happy life with his normal girlfriend he had known all those years ago along with his now growing family.

Neji and Tenten were married, the best man and godmother being none other than Lee and his girlfriend Yakumo of the Kurama clan.

A, the Raikage stayed single for a good few years until his secretary got tired of it and took Anko's advice, sedating her boss and having a good night when he woke up. Everyone was surprised when they saw how the powerful Raikage was now nothing more than a whipped man who was under the control of his now girlfriend.

Killer B for his part decided to concentrate completely as an instructor while going to the red light district of his village from time to time with his friends.

Shikamaru managed to get married after his mother practically forced him to go on blind dates, it wasn't the best time for poor Nara, but as the years went by, he managed to fall in love with his wife, more so when she wasn't as annoying as his mother.

Choji ended up in a relationship with Karui, the girl that Kurama had introduced to him, they even had a daughter named Chouchou.

Onoki, passed away 10 years after the war with a smile on his face because he had managed to have his great-grandson before he left, a beautiful boy with black hair and pink eyes like his mother.

On that day, many of the world's most important people had gone to bid farewell to one of the oldest men in the world as a hero, after all, he had almost sacrificed himself during the war that ravaged the Elemental Nations.

Peace continued to hold steady for quite some time, all thanks to the efforts of the village leaders as well as the neutral protector of the Elemental Nations, the prestigious Uzumaki clan that inhabited the mysterious islands of Uzu no Kuni.

Oh, speaking of the Uzumaki clan...

"Let me go at once, Sarada-chan!" - Naruto exclaimed as he ran away from a little 12-year-old girl - "For the last time, I don't want to play house, I'm too big for that!"

"Come on, Naruto Nii-chan!" - Sarada, Sasuke's daughter exclaimed with a smile - "Just a few minutes!"

"Some things don't change as the years go by..." - Ryu said as he sipped some tea. He was watching with amusement as his older brother suffered from the affection Sarada was giving him.

"He should just give up and accept his fate" - Izumi replied with an amused smile on her face, though inside she was rooting for her niece and wished she would fulfill her dream.

"Those children..." - Kurama muttered as he let out a laugh seeing how his older children were having fun in their own way, or at least two of them.
