The Legend of the Kyubi

Two days had passed since Kurama had revived as many people as possible from Amegakure no Sato and he was currently resting in his office.     

Konan had decided to stay in Ame to organize all the staff so she could rebuild her beloved village as soon as possible, after all, it was the last thing left of her best friend.     

Today should have been a quiet day for the current leader of Uzu, but his expression changed when he saw his calendar. He quickly pressed a huge red button and exclaimed at the top of his lungs - "Code Alpha 9! Repeat, Code Alpha 9!"     

All the members of the Uzumaki clan reacted immediately when they heard these words because today would not be a quiet day, no, today would be a day full of blood.     

Today was the day of pranks.

"Nishishi" - Naruto had a huge smile on his face as he read with all his attention the words he had written in his special notebook - "Today I will finally be able to put my best plans into action..."     

'Pranks Diary', a title that foreshadowed only chaos for all the members of the Uzumaki clan.     

"Today everyone will fall to my pranks" - Naruto muttered excitedly - "Even Tousan will fall to my pranking skills!"     

Naruto couldn't contain how happy he was because he could finally unleash all his creativity - "Now, who will be my first victim?"     

The young prince of the Whirlpool went through the information he had on each member of his family, only for a smile to appear on his face when he came to a picture - "Perfect!"     

Naruto had already chosen his first target, and she was none other than the mother of his younger sister, Izumi - "You'll be the first, Mikoto Kaasan."     

* * * * *     

"I just hope this is a safe place" - Mikoto muttered as she shook her head. She had decided that it was better to get some air and stroll through the streets of Uzushiogakure no Sato together with her beloved princess.     

"Safe place?" - Izumi asked in confusion as she cocked her head to the side.     

"You see, today..." - Mikoto replied, but her expression changed when she noticed how her daughter was sniffing the surroundings - "What's the wrong daughter?"     

"Naruto Nii is nearby" - Izumi replied as she tilted her head to the side.     

"!" - Mikoto opened her eyes in surprise when she heard this, only to notice how the young Uzumaki appeared in front of them - "W-what are you doing here, Naruto-chan?"     

"Why are you reacting like this, Mikoto Kaasan?" - Naruto asked as a pained expression appeared on his face.     

Mikoto didn't know how to respond to the pained expression of her clan sister's son, so she tried to talk to the little boy. Izumi frowned when she saw this because her senses told her that something weird was going on - "Mommy, Naruto Nii is up to something bad."     

"That's not true!" - Naruto exclaimed in annoyance - "I just wanted to hug Mikoto Kaasan!"     

Mikoto didn't know what to do. She knew Naruto was up to a prank, but at the same time she couldn't hug Kushina's son - "Ok, come on, honey"     

"You're the best!" - Naruto exclaimed as he hugged the Uchiha Matriarch with a smile full of happiness - "Thank you, Mikoto Kaasan!"     

"You're welcome sweetie" - replied Mikoto as she shook her head. Maybe she was overthinking.     

"But there's something I want to tell you" - Naruto said as his smile slowly disappeared.     

"What?" - Mikoto asked as she felt a bad feeling, only to open her eyes in surprise when she felt something icy impacting the back of her neck - "Kya!"     

"Happy prank day!" - Naruto exclaimed as he ran off - "I hope you like that ice cream cake!"     

"Naruto-chan!" - roared Mikoto with a red face because she had let her guard down - "This won't end like this, young man!"     

Izumi slowly walked over to where her mother was and took some of the cake - "Not bad."     

". . ." - Mikoto could only give her daughter a blank look as she took some cake. She had to admit it was delicious.     

"I guess now comes my second target..." - Naruto thought as he crossed out Mikoto's name and read the second name - "Tsume Kaasan."

"If I remember correctly, 'that' should be in areas like these..." - Tsume muttered as she looked around in search of her target. She had heard from Kurama that around this area there were Shiitake mushrooms, a luxury ingredient.     

Kushina had told her that they could eat them for dinner, though Tsume had to go collect them because the ones they had gathered earlier, had already been eaten.     

"I guess I'm going to have to go deeper into the forest" - Tsume muttered as she frowned, but her expression changed when she smelled a familiar scent - "Naruto?"     

Tsume was confused because she didn't understand why the Whirlpool prince was in this place and since she had been out of the mansion since morning, she didn't know about the bloody carnage called prank day.     

"Naruto, I think that's enough of games" - Tsume said with a frown when she saw that no one answered her - "If you don't come out now, I'm going to go where you are and..."     

Tsume was about to continue speaking, but her expression changed when she felt herself step on something soft. She slowly looked down to the ground and saw how some kind of package was under her feet as a bad feeling invaded her insides - "Oh, shit!"     

"Happy prank day!" - Naruto exclaimed and from his voice, you could tell he was happy for his prank.     

"Oh my god!" - Tsume's shout echoed through the forest along with the sound of a small explosion - "What the fuck is that smell!"     

The prank was simple, Naruto had planted a super stink bomb, though at the same time these types of pranks were 'lethal' to people with superhuman senses like the Inuzuka.     

"NARUTO!" - Tsume shouted furiously as the red-haired young man continued to run away.     

"Two down" - said Naruto happily - "Next victim..."     

Naruto quickly moved towards his next target, and to his good fortune, there was two more prey by her side - "I guess I can try [that] now."     

* * * * *     

"Anyone else have a bad feeling?" - Hanabi asked as she looked around in terror.     

"You're not the only one" - Ino replied as she frowned - "I feel like something bad is about to happen."     

Hinata said nothing, though her instincts told her that they had better run out of the place.     

"I think we'd better continue with the training" - Hanabi said as she shook her head - "Maybe it's just a cold or someone is talking about us."     

"You might be right" - nodded Ino as she watched the two Hyuga sisters fight again. They had been training since dawn and didn't know about the danger hovering around them.     

"I think it's time to start with the operation" - Naruto muttered as he narrowed his eyes. He had to be careful with this prank because Hinata and Hanabi possessed the Byakugan, which meant they could see his prank coming if he didn't get it right.     

He quickly pulled a small gun from his seal and hid it inside one of the nearby bushes, only to tie the 'trigger' of the gun with a small string.     

Naruto slowly retreated to a safe distance as a huge grin appeared on his face, but not before tying a second rope on a few branches of another bush.     

When he was at a safe distance and noticing that the two Hyuga didn't have their Byakugan activated, he pulled the second bush to shake it.     

"What was that?"- Hanabi asked as she noticed how a bush moved - "Is someone spying on us, by any chance?"     

"I don't think so" - replied Hinata as she looked in the direction of the bush - "We would have felt its chakra if so".     

"Maybe it's a small animal" - added Ino as she tilted her head in confusion.     

"What kind of animal?" - Hanabi asked excitedly. She liked animals and the cuter the better.     

"Maybe a rabbit?" - Hinata replied as she noticed her younger sister getting excited - "I guess we can investigate."     

"I feel like that's a bad idea" - Ino said with a frown, though she still walked alongside the two Hyuga sisters towards the bush, but her expression changed when she heard a familiar voice.     

"Fire in the hole!" - Naruto shouted as he pulled the second rope, only for the barrel inside the bush to release a flour shot.     

"It's Naruto!" - Ino exclaimed in terror as flour shot into her eyes - "Kya!"     

Though to her 'relief', she wasn't the only one who suffered from the little prince of the Whirlpool's prank.     

"Kya!" - Hinata and Hanabi also felt the flour get into their eyes, being much more effective on them thanks to her powerful Doujutsu.     

"Happy prank day!" - Naruto shouted as he ran away from the place with a smile on his face.     

"Naruto-chan!" - roared the three girls as they realized what had happened as they felt their anger grow with each passing second.     

Naruto was excited about all the pranks he was playing, not knowing about the endless amount of trouble he had gotten himself into.
