The Legend of the Kyubi

The gods were silent after listening to Emroy's explanation, who at least had the decency to show an embarrassed expression.     

"I knew it, everything related to you, is bullshit" - Hardy said with disdain.     

"Asshole, everyone inside this room is related to me, including you, so think before you speak" - replied Emroy with a frown - "But back to the point, I'm going to punish Rory for talking out of turn, that's why I want to apologize for her words."     

"Calm down, this may be of use to us" - Cloud replied while closing his eyes - "Letting the invaders know about the faith system of our world, it could make them show their true colors."     

"If they attack one of our important cities, or try to convince the inhabitants of this world about an atheistic stance, it will show that their intentions are not good, and they wish to reduce our power" - said Elange while nodding - "It makes sense, although this could backfire against us"     

"A preemptive strike could end our precarious situation, but that would only make the communities inhabiting the other world, hostile to us" - Emroy added with a frown.     

"That would leave us with the option of directly attacking their dimension, the problem is that we can't move to that place because we are tied to this place by the domains we control" - mused Hardy while frowning - "The only one who could move to another dimension, would be Kurama-sama because he is the one who possesses the most freedom of us"     

"No, I can't" - replied Kurama as he shook his head - "At least not until my presence is accepted, or the dimensional current disappears."     

The gods looked at each other before shaking their heads.     

"That would leave us with the most counterproductive option, sending in our troops and creating a new holy war" - Zufmuut said as he tried to change the subject - "Although this would also put us in a critical situation because the weapons of those humans are strange and have the destructive potential of a high level spell."     

"Now I'm thankful I took Kurama-dono's advice" - Duncan said as he snapped his fingers and made a box appear in front of the group - "I managed to analyze the weapon more carefully, and I have to admit that the otherworldly humans are geniuses, these weapons are a marvel on a mechanical level, not only can they fire projectiles over long distances that possess explosive properties, but they can accumulate them inside these strange boxes"     

"Interesting, can they only use explosive ammunition?" - Elange asked as he raised an eyebrow and picked up the small box that Duncan said contained these strange munitions.     

"For now, yes, although I couldn't tell you if it's possible to change the ammunition they use" - answered Duncan as he pondered - "I'd have to keep researching a bit more, as well as find resistant materials so that it can withstand the power of the increased explosive ammunition."     

Kurama stood aside because despite understanding what a firearm was, he had no more knowledge than the basics, on the other hand, Duncan was a weapons expert, so he would be able to find out a lot more things.     

"Anyway, for now you can consider these weapons as crossbows that can cast lightning spells" - Duncan said with a frown - "The problem is that those attacks have a minimum reuse time, less than a second in some cases, although this is equally dependent on the ammunition, as far as I could observe, there are some weapons that can launch attacks equivalent to the explosion of an Archmage's attack, not to the level of area damage, but to their general offensive power."     

"Kurama-sama said that they could pierce a dragon's body, so it's not much of a surprise" - said Miritta while shaking her head - "Anyway, now that we know this, we have no choice but to wait"     

"Yeah, just wait" - nodded Kurama calmly as he watched the gods start talking about random things, though after a few seconds, they stopped.     

"Kurama-dono" - Emroy said with a frown.     

"Yeah, I felt them too" - Kurama replied as he raised an eyebrow - "It looks like our princess made her first stupid move"     

"I knew it, we couldn't trust her" - Hardy snorted with disdain.     

"If we look at it from another point of view, this city is not a secret place, so those invaders should have already discovered our location" - Ral replied while shaking his head.     

"The problem is not that she told them where we are, but that she was the person who led them to our city" - Kurama replied with a frown - "That proves that she sided with the invaders."     

"Mortals don't understand that their actions have consequences" - muttered Elange while looking at his sister - "Don't you think the same, sister?"     

"Yes, their actions can be seen as treason even though those were not their intentions" - answered Ral as the other gods showed different kinds of expressions, the most hostile of all being Hardy.     

"Perhaps we should see what they wish?" - Deldort asked as he looked around - "Let's be honest, we don't know their true intentions, and we may be able to come to an agreement."     

"You have a point" - murmured Wareharun as she nodded with a small smile - "Besides, this might be a good opportunity to give them a little scare."     

The gods smiled when they heard this because despite their long lives, there were some things that amused them, and that were tormenting mortals.

"How long until we reach [Samsara]?" - Itami asked as he raised an eyebrow.     

"Not long," Piña replied as she looked at the trees surrounding the area.     

"I'm surprised they built a city in the middle of the forest" - Shino said in surprise.     

"It's because they didn't build it in the middle of the forest, quite the opposite" - Bozes replied calmly.     

"What do you mean?" - Mari asked as she looked at the female knight with surprise.     

"Kurama-sama made the forest grow after he built [Samsara]" - answered this time Beefeater while looking at the soldiers in green - "Then he created life, so he could inhabit the forests and create harmony with the elves who came some time later"     

"Wait, he created the forest?!" - Itami exclaimed in surprise as he looked around in shock because this was much more impressive than he first thought.     

"That aside, we're close" - Piña said as she watched as a group of elves watched them from the forest.     

"Elves!" - Itami exclaimed excitedly as he watched in surprise as they peered into the distance. They were blond, blue-eyed and long pointed ears, all were beautiful, especially the women who seemed to be made from the same mold, slender bodies and well-trained from their life in the forest.     

The soldiers looked curiously at these people because they had only seen them in movies like "Lord of the Rings", or in the case of Itami and the other Otakus in the group, in different stories, especially those with erotic content.     

"Impressive" - said Shino as she looked at the elves, but her expression changed when she saw how it appeared in front of them, some huge walls - "Is this [Samsara]?"     

"Yes" - nodded Piña as she saw the wall she had seen for 4 years.     

The soldiers looked at the walls and noticed how on one side there was a huge metal gate.     

Itami was about to comment something, when he saw how the door opened, showing how from it came out a group of people, all of them had a strange aura, but the most prominent was the man leading the group, a person Itami and Shino recognized immediately.     

"Guys, I want you to be respectful" - Yoji Itami said while looking at his companions - "We are about to talk to someone important."     

"Is he the god you guys talked about?" - Mari asked with surprise at the sight of the handsome white-haired man.     

"Yes, he is Kurama-sama" - replied Bozes as she noticed how Beefeater's eyes sparkled slightly.     

"Well, his appearance is worthy of a god" - muttered Mari with surprise because the more she saw Kurama, the more handsome he was, especially that mysterious aura that surrounded his body and seemed to be attracting mortals.     

The soldiers stopped their vehicle and got out, leaving their weapons in the car because they didn't want to cause a war against a god, at least not so soon.     

"Welcome to [Samsara]" - Kurama said as a huge smile appeared on his lips, although Piña could sense that he wasn't very happy with the situation.     

Bozes, and the other knights escorting her, noticed this as well, so they quickly walked where the princess was and prepared for the worst.     

Kurama raised an eyebrow when he saw this, but did nothing about it, he just looked at the soldiers calmly while waiting for them to say something.     

"Sorry for arriving uninvited, my name is Yoji Itami, leader of this squad" - Yoji said as he looked seriously at the white-haired man - "It's a pleasure to be able to talk to you"
