Extra 17: To Love Ruto (15)

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (15)

"How long do you think you need to go back to being Ren?" - Kurama asked while looking at the girl - "Oh, and it's not like I'm trying to tell you that I don't want to see you, it's just that it's your brother who is enrolled in this school."

"You don't have to feel guilty, I understand the situation" - Run replied with a small smile - "As for your question, the current state in my brother's sentimental stability, it's making it difficult to calculate the time needed"

"This is a problem" - muttered Kurama as he shook his head - "Although I understand what you're trying to say. Anyway, it's better that he can get better, so I'll go tell the teachers that Ren had an accident and couldn't return to school until further notice"

"You are a kind person, Kurama-san" - Run said while looking at the white-haired man.

"No, I'm just doing my duty" - Kurama replied as he walked towards the teacher's lounge.

Run quickly walked behind him as she looked around curiously, because even though she had observed everything thanks to her brother, seeing everything herself was a very different feeling.

After making sure everything was okay, Kurama and Run walked towards the infirmary, a place where Ryoko Mikado was waiting for them.

"Hmm, a Memorizian" - said Mikado as she nodded - "I want to assume that you are Ren's sister."

"Yes" - nodded Run as she looked at the beautiful brown-haired woman - "It's a pleasure."

"Oh, the pleasure is mine, sweetie" - smiled Mikado as she waited for an explanation.

Kurama quickly gave a quick comment on the situation.

"I see, I'm sorry to hear about this" - said Mikado as she felt sorry for Run's brother.

"Thank you, I'm sure he must be happy to have so many people supporting him, even when they are close to Naruto-san and Lala" - replied Run with a small smile.

"But that leaves us with the current situation" - Mikado said while putting on a serious expression - "What will you do now?"

"What do you mean?" - Run asked as she cocked her head to one side.

"Let's be honest, being close to Lala, will only make Ren-kun suffer, that's why I would recommend you that it's better for you to get away for a bit and see the wonders this planet has to give" - said Mikado calmly.

"I think it's better that he stay close, seeing her happy can make him accept the reality faster" - replied Kurama while shaking his head.

"Better let him make the decision by himself" - muttered Mikado while looking at Run.

"Sorry, he doesn't seem to want to talk to me" - replied Run as she shook her head, then looked at Kurama - "Though if I'm honest, I wish I could check out this city a bit more".

"Do you have a place to stay?" - Kurama asked as he looked at the girl.

"Yeah, don't worry about me" - smiled Run as she gave a small bow before retreating.

Kurama just shook his head before looking at Mikado - "I'd like to know a little more about the biology of the Memorizians."

"Oh, it's not much different from that of humans, only that two people share the same body" - Mikado replied as she shrugged - "When they reach a certain age, the two individuals split and manage to get their own body, as for when this happens, it depends on many factors."

Kurama was silent before nodding and leaving because he still had a lot of work to do, and he wanted to finish it as fast as possible because tomorrow he only had to teach one class, and he would have the whole rest of the day off.

The next day, Kurama was leaving the teacher's room and getting ready to go home and do some personal stuff, when he heard how one of his colleagues was calling him.

"Kurama sensei, there's someone looking for you" - said the history teacher as he motioned for him to walk over to him.

Kurama raised an eyebrow, only to see how Run was waving at him with her eyes - "Run-san?"

"Hello, Kurama-san" - smiled Run as she looked at the white-haired man.

"What's wrong?" - Kurama asked as he cocked his head slightly - "Did something happen to your brother?"

"No, he's fine" - replied Run with a small smile - "It's just that I wanted to ask you a favor."

"Ok, we can talk in the teacher's lounge" - Kurama answered calmly, all at the sight of the history teacher who only nodded because Kurama's attitude was professional and ethical enough to prove that there was nothing weird between him and the girl.

It wasn't that Kurama was a person who sought to do things with his students, it was just that with the principal, and the constant growth among the relationships between students and teachers, he didn't want to see how a person with such a good future, ended up in trouble for not being able to control his most primitive desires.

The duo quickly reached their destination and sat across from each other.

"Do you want something to drink?" - Kurama asked while at the small cooler he had brought to store some drinks for the hot days.

"Hmm, I haven't tried the variety of beverages that exist on this planet, so I don't know if I'll like them or not" - replied Run while scratching her cheek.

"You have a point" - nodded Kurama as he checked a bit and decided to give her an apple juice.

Run looked at the can curiously before opening it and drinking its contents, only to widen her eyes, surprised at how smooth and refreshing it tasted - "Delicious ~!"

"I'm glad you liked it" - Kurama smiled as he took out another can and placed it near the girl - "Anyway, what did you come to meet me for?"

"I would like to know if you could guide me around the city because I'm not very comfortable walking in an unfamiliar place" - replied Run with embarrassment.

"Hmm, I have no problem, today I have the whole rest of the day off, so helping you check out your surroundings is no inconvenience for me" - nodded Kurama as he smiled at the girl.

Run smiled happily as she felt her heart give a little jump. She could feel her cheeks heat up slightly, but she quickly drank the juice Kurama had offered her to regulate her body temperature.

Kurama didn't notice this because he was looking for something to drink.

"Thank you very much for your kindness, Kurama-san" - Run said while looking at the white-haired man.

"Like I said, you don't have to thank me, it's my duty to take care of my students, and well, technically you are one of them" - Kurama replied while winking at her - "Anyway, we better go right away".

"But there's no problem with you accompanying me?" - Run asked with concern - "My presence by your side might not cause you inconvenience?"

"Oh, don't worry, I can solve that little problem" - replied Kurama as his body was surrounded by a curtain of smoke. A few seconds later, the smoke disappeared, revealing a Kurama who appeared to be much younger, almost the same age as the girl - "Hmm, it's been years since I wore this appearance."

"Huh?" - Run was surprised to see the transformation of the white-haired man, only to be surprised to see how his long white hair, was now a deep red color and his eyes were completely different colors - "What is that appearance?"

"This is my appearance when I was your age" - Kurama answered as he recalled the past - "It still brings back memories, those days were fun."

Ren looked closely at Kurama, only to notice the similarity he had with Naruto, though she quickly shook her head as she felt a bit strange with this new appearance - "Can't you use your current appearance as the basis for your transformation?"

"Hmm, I hadn't thought of that" - Kurama replied as he used his Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu) again, and took on the appearance of his current, but much younger self - "How is it now?"

"Much better" - nodded Run as she walked to Kurama and started observing him from different perspectives - "You look much better like this".

"If you say so" - replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders because he honestly didn't care what he looked like as he escorted the girl around the city.

"Huh, who are they, and why does that guy look like Kurama sensei?" - A girl asked as she looked out the window and saw two teenagers walking towards the exit.

The students looked out the window and saw a handsome white-haired boy a few years older than them, walking next to a beautiful green-haired girl.

"Huh? Run-chan?" - Lala said in surprise as she looked at the girl - "Oh, that explains why Ren hasn't shown up."

"You know her?" - Naruto asked as he looked at the girl accompanying his father.

"Yes, she's Run-chan, Ren's sister" - replied Lala with a smile - "I played with her most of the time when I was a kid, Ren would show up from time to time, that's why I didn't remember the promise."

"So did that promise exist?" - asked Naruto with concern because for his Clan, promises were important.

"Yes, but I made it to Run-chan" - replied Lala - "I told her that we would be together forever because I wanted to remain her friend".

"Oh, that makes sense" - nodded Naruto with a smile.
