The Legend of the Kyubi

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (13)

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (13)

A week had passed since the meeting between the Uzumaki family and the Saiba Yuuki, a time in which many interesting things had happened.

First, Naruto managed to capture a certain boy who had been spying on the girls and taking pictures of them. He didn't meet a pretty end when Naruto brought him to the female population of the school with proof of his actions.

The other thing that happened was that a typhoon was going to cancel Naruto's class trip, so after asking his father for help, the typhoon disappeared without a trace.

During this trip, a huge smile appeared on Kurama's face because he had been chosen as the one responsible for organizing the challenge that the students had to overcome.

Those responsible for taking care of the students were Kurama, as the head teacher of the class, Mikado because it was better to have a nurse in case of emergency, and finally the principal, who had only come to do activities with a lot of legal problems.

Honestly, the students felt a bad feeling while Naruto knew he would have to prepare for the worst.

During the trip, things were normal, at least for the Seinan school.

The girls went to take a shower in the outdoor hot springs, only to run into an unconscious headmaster. Mikado quickly pulled him out of the bath, so the girls could take a well-deserved rest, and much to the boys' annoyance, they couldn't get close enough to peek in because it looked like something was keeping them from moving on.

During the choice of couples, Rito was blessed with the luck to go with Lala, and although she was not his girlfriend Haruna, the two were friends, so there was not much of a problem.

As for Haruna, she went with Naruto, whom she sincerely respected because he wasn't a pervert like the other guys.

The instructions of the challenge were quite normal, they just had to get to the abandoned shrine and mark their cards with the stamp that was near the donation box, how they got to the place, was up to each one, although Naruto was sure that the direct way was full of traps, so after talking it over with Haruna, they decided to take the long way, something they told Rito and Lala because they didn't want them to suffer from what Naruto called, the "Uzumaki evilness".

The minutes passed normally, although to Rito and Haruna's terror, the screams of their companions were becoming more and more frequent.

Takami, the manager of the hotel where they were staying, and the one responsible for the challenges that were organized in the area, was impressed by Kurama's skills, especially how funny some of them were.

Mikado for her part just shook her head because she was sure that after Kurama's planning, some of her students were going to need psychological help to overcome their ghost traumas.

Well, leaving aside that traumatic night for the kids, the next day everyone was as if nothing had happened. Mikado attributed this to the fact that the boys were unconsciously repressing that memory.

Putting aside the incident of the swimsuit thief who ended up being a poor lost dolphin, things went on as normal, or at least as normally as possible for Naruto and the others.

After two more days of rest, the group returned to the city with new and nice experiences to remember.

Naruto managed to visit a few places together with Lala, further cementing their growing relationship, and if he was honest, Naruto enjoyed spending time with Lala. He was feeling something he hadn't felt before, a warm feeling in his heart every time he saw the smile of the princess of the Devilukean empire.

Rito also managed to spend time with his girlfriend, although to the teenager's surprise, the moment he got away from Naruto, his bad luck returned, and although the incident he had with Haruna was embarrassing, at least it was something intimate, not like before which was without simple unintentional sexual assault.

When they were reunited, Rito quickly went to Kurama to explain the situation, and saw how strange everything was. He had heard some things about how Rito had had these incidents, which had stopped with the arrival of his son, so he wanted to think that Rito's bad luck, was being balanced with Naruto's good luck, although this was a bit complicated, after all, Naruto couldn't be around Rito that much.

After some more thought, Kurama decided to create a seal to cancel Rito's bad luck, though he needed a "volunteer" to steal his luck, and if he was honest, he had a few idiots in mind, among them, a certain director who was lucky enough to dodge all the trouble his continuous perverted attacks should have caused him.

* * * * *

"So, you're the new exchange student?" - Kurama asked as he looked at the handsome white-haired boy.

"Yes, my name is Ren Elsie Jewelria" - replied the boy as he looked at the handsome white-haired man, and if he was honest, he felt that he was everything he wished to be since his childhood.

"You'll fit in well in class with how polite you are, boy" - nodded Kurama as he got to thinking - "Where are you from?"

"From the planet Memorze" - answered Ren unconsciously, only to be embarrassed when he saw how he had over spoken, but to his surprise, Kurama seemed not to be too surprised.

"Oh, I see, Memorze..." - Kurama nodded as he started to think - "If I remember correctly, your race is one in which two members of the opposite sex, live in the same body, and exchange control through sneezing."

"Huh? How do you know about that?" - Ren said with surprise.

"It's because I'm not an earthling" - replied Kurama while shrugging his shoulders - "Anyway, if you're not from this world, I'd like to assume that you've come for Lala."

"Yes, I'm an old childhood friend of Lala-sama, and we promised that we would get married when we grew up" - answered Ren seriously.

"I see" - nodded Kurama, then shook his head - "Ok, I won't get in the way, although I have to tell you that it's my son who is Lala's new fiancé."

"Huh?" - Ren was surprised when he heard this, the more he saw that the white-haired man was honest - "You're not going to try to intimidate me?"

"Why should I?" - Kurama asked, confused at the boy's assumption - "Listen, I don't have the right to get in the way, not when it's up to Lala to decide who's going to make her happy."

Ren was silent as he tried to continue listening to the wisdom of this man who seemed to have experience with women - "What should I do?"

"I'm not the one who has to tell you" - Kurama answered as he shook his head - "If your feelings are as real as you say, then it's better that you talk to her directly to see how everything develops, but the moment she gives you her answer, that's the moment you should accept it. If she accepts to leave everything behind to go with you, then it means that the feelings are reciprocal, but the moment she says no, you just have to accept it like a man and move on."

"And what if I can't move on, if I want to keep trying?" - Ren asked as he frowned because if he was honest, he didn't like the rumors he'd heard about how happy Lala was with this new contender.

"Then you are going to have to step back long enough to think better about your situation" - replied Kurama as he shook his head - "Listen kid, having feelings for someone, is the most beautiful thing that can happen, but you have to understand that there are times when the person you love, is not going to feel the same as you, that's the moment where you have to be a man, and recognize the truth, take a step back and wish the girl the best. The moment you continue to stand by her side, you will only show yourself as someone weak, someone who doesn't know how to accept reality, someone she is going to continue to use as a tissue."

Ren frowned because he didn't like how he sounded, more so with how nice Lala is.

"I know, she's not going to act like that, but I know Lala well enough to know that she will try to get away from you if you bother her like a fly after she says no, the same thing is going to happen to my son if she accepts you" - Kurama replied as he shook his head - "Lala is a strong, honest and stubborn girl, the moment she decides something, there is nothing that will make her change her mind, except maybe the safety of her important people."

Ren nodded when he heard this because that was the exact definition of the Lala he remembered from his childhood - "Thank you for your words."

"You don't have to thank me, that's what we teachers are for" - smiled Kurama as he patted the boy a few times - "If you need to talk, or anything, you can always come talk to me, I'll always be there for you."

"Thank you so much!" - Ren exclaimed with a huge smile because it felt good to have support in this unfamiliar place.
