The Legend of the Kyubi

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (40)

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (40)

The next morning, Kurama was walking along with Ryoko Mikado and Tearju, only to find Sephie sitting in the living room, reading a world history book.

"Oh, hello, sorry for my intrusion" - Sephie said with a calm smile - "It's just that I wanted to know a little more about the history of this world, but there was no way to find this information in the empire's database because this place isn't very popular."

"I understand this, though I'm surprised you're reading it in our house" - Kurama replied while raising an eyebrow - "Oh, and don't get me wrong, we don't mind your presence, it's just that I thought you would do it quietly on your ship."

"You may think I'm a fool, but I didn't disable the ship's teleportation lock, so I can't enter until Gid-kun wakes up" - Sephie replied while letting out a small laugh.

"Do you want me to call him?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, no, he's resting, so he can recover much faster" - Sephie replied with a frown.

"You can stay as long as you want" - said Kurama as he walked towards the kitchen - "And you can have breakfast with us if you wish".

"Thank you very much for your kindness" - smiled Sephie as she noticed how the two women looked at her curiously - "Is something wrong?"

"Oh, no, it's nothing" - replied Tearju as she shook her head.

"Hmm" - Sephie shrugged before going back to reading her book.

Fifteen minutes later, Kurama was setting the table.

"I guess we have to go wake up the others" - Ryoko Mikado said as Tearju nodded.

Sephie smiled slightly because she liked the aura that surrounded this house, it was all too harmonious, to the point that she wished her home was the same, the problem was that Gid was one of those people who rarely showed his emotions, more so with his daughters.

Naruto quickly went downstairs together with Lala, who seemed not to want to part with her fiancé, soon to be husband.

Sephie smiled when she saw this because it reminded her of the time when she fell in love with Gid, oh, and don't get her wrong, she still loved her husband, though as time went by her feelings grew colder and colder. She knew that Gid still loved her, but it was annoying that the emperor couldn't express them like a true husband, that's why she was jealous of the life that Tearju and Mikado were living. It was obvious that Kurama loved his two companions.

"Is something wrong, mom?" - Lala asked as she noticed how her mother's aura seemed to darken, this wasn't noticeable to the others because they couldn't see the empress' expression, but to Lala, it was obvious that her mother was a little upset.

"Oh, it's nothing" - Sephie smiled under her veil - "I was just thinking about some things."

"Oh, ok" - nodded Lala as she turned her attention back to her fiancé.

"Seriously, Anee-ue seems too clingy, don't you think so too, Momo?" - Nana asked as she looked at her twin.

"They look cute together" - smiled Momo as she looked at her sister, then looked over as Kurama was putting breakfast on the table.

Sephie raised an eyebrow as she noticed one of the twins' interest in her future son-in-law's father, though she quickly shook her head because it was obvious that her princess only had a passing interest, she could instinctively feel it.

"Where's Daddy?" - Lala asked with a frown as her father was nowhere to be seen.

"Possibly sleeping or attending to some important problem" - Sephie replied calmly, though she could sense the frown on her daughters face, after all, this was the first family reunion they had in a long time, one that had the entire family of the Emperor's future son-in-law - "Do you want me to call him?"

"No" - Lala replied with annoyance.

Sephie sighed when she saw this before watching in surprise as Lala smiled as she received some sort of snack from Kurama - "What's that?"

"Oh, these are waffles" - Kurama replied calmly - "It's Lala's favorite breakfast since I first prepared it, she likes to eat them with honey".

"It's delicious ~!" - Lala exclaimed as she smiled even more.

Sephie was amazed that she was getting to know a new side of her daughter, more so when she noticed how her other princesses were eating with gusto - "Would you mind?"

"Not in the least, I've prepared for everyone" - Kurama replied as he set a plate with this interesting appetizer for her.

Sephie brought her face close to the saucer and sniffed it lightly as she felt the sugary aroma caress her veil. She slowly took it off, showing her exquisite face.

Mikado and Tearju gawked for a few seconds at the perfect beauty of the empress as they shook their heads to get their thoughts away, though their expressions changed when they remembered that there was someone dangerous in the room.

Lala and the other Deviluke princesses watched this with surprise as they wiped their eyes because they couldn't believe Kurama wasn't gawking at their mother.

"What?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"You don't consider me attractive?" - Sephie asked curiously.

"Oh, you are, but that doesn't mean I don't have enough self-control to keep my cool" - replied Kurama as he sat down and prepared to eat breakfast now that he had put everyone's breakfast on the table - "Not to mention that you're married and your daughter will be my son's wife"

"Makes sense" - Sephie nodded, though inside she felt strange, as if a bittersweet feeling appeared inside her. She was happy that her appearance didn't cause much trouble, but Kurama ignoring her so easily was a hard blow to her pride as the most beautiful woman in the universe, after all, even her husband was lost in her face when the two of them were together.

Lala let out a sigh of relief when she saw Kurama's attitude, at least with this there would be no complications for her wedding with her beloved Naruto, while the two twins were confused with the current situation.

Mikado and Tearju's eyes returned to normal after seeing that their lover wasn't acting like an animal in heat after seeing the empress' face, and they concentrated on their breakfasts, although there were times when they couldn't hide their interest in the empress and looked at her for a few seconds because they knew that any longer would be dangerous for them.

Naruto kept ignoring, not because he didn't see Lala's mother, but because she WAS Lala's mother and there was no way he would think pervertedly about her, it showed his enormous self-control, which seemed to be on the same level as his father's.

Sephie's face darkened, though it quickly returned to normal as she felt she was acting like an idiot, though ironically she wasn't upset about how Naruto was ignoring her, maybe because he would soon be her daughter's husband, not like Kurama, who was just treating her like a normal person in his life.

* * * * *

"Do you have a visitor?" - Rito asked in surprise. He had heard his friend's voice, so he had come to see him because he needed advice, advice that Kurama wouldn't give him because he was laughing at his current situation with the ghost girl.

"Something like that" - Naruto replied as he shrugged, though his face flushed when he felt his fiancée's soft breasts - "Lala!"

"Hello, Lala-san" - Rito said with a smile.

"Hi, Rito!" - Lala exclaimed with a smile - "Are you here to see Naruto?"

"Yeah, it's been a while, so I stopped by to say hi and ask him a few questions" - Rito replied awkwardly.

"Oh, boy stuff, I understand" - nodded Lala with a smile before entering the house.

Rito let out a sigh of relief, though his expression changed when he saw the two girls who looked like his friend's fiancée - "Hi, Momo-san, Nana-san"

"Hello, Yuuki-san" - Momo said with a smile as Nana snorted with disdain.

"Ehehe" - Rito gave them a forced smile because he could tell how the twins were judging him with their eyes, though it wasn't like he could blame them, after all, they were the daughters of the fucking strongest man in the universe, at least half of it.

"Ok, let's go and see what you need" - Naruto said with a smile as he walked next to his friend.

"Thanks" - muttered Rito as the two boys walked away.

"Do you want to go see what they're going to talk about?" - Momo asked as she looked at her twin.

"Why would I want to listen to that useless guy's conversation!" - Nana exclaimed as she frowned.

"Ok, I'm going alone" - replied Momo as she shrugged her shoulders.

Nana was silent for a few seconds before running after her sister.

'For the next few days, I may upload chapters at different times because of my illness, lately I've been with a cold that has me with a fucking headache that I haven't even been able to write a paragraph, the good thing is that I had chapters saved for situations like this.

Leaving that aside, I ask for patience in case a chapter comes out an hour or two later than normal because I might be in the hospital, or resting to get rid of my headache.

Another announcement, extra number 20 of [The Legend of the Kyubi], already to be the last extra of the story, after that I'm going to concentrate completely on [Origin] because I'm sure that many times I must have been confused between the names of the main characters.

Leaving that aside, [Origin] is going to have the same treatment that [The Legend of the Kyubi] had, I'm going to use MT together with a grammar program to be able to upload it here, as for the final destiny of [The Legend of the Kyubi], I'll give more information later.
