The Legend of the Kyubi

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (43)

Extra 17: To Love Ruto (43)

A month had passed since Kurama had taken command of Seinan, a time that everything had changed for the better.

Kurama was everything they could ask for in a leader, he was skillful, organized, intelligent and knew what he was doing.

The new rules he had created had helped many people, and now the punishments were much more severe, but fair.

The boys were happy that they could finally have dressing rooms of their own, and the girls were shouting happily when they heard that they would be renovating their facilities.

The food was much better and there was now a greater variety.

The clubs now had better implements for their activities and the parents were increasingly happy when they visited the school, even when they went to receive news of their children's bad activities.

Teachers were also showing better performance in their jobs, all thanks to Kurama having improved salaries and created a basic guideline for having a bonus.

That left us with the current situation....

"He's been running a fever all day?" - Kurama asked with a frown as he watched as Ren lay on one of the many stretchers.

"Yes, the problem is that after a few quick scans, I failed to find any problems, no symptoms of illness either" - replied Kyoko Mikado as she frowned.

Kurama put his hand on Ren's head and used his chakra to do a quick scan of his body, only to frown even more because as Mikado had said, there was no problem with Ren - "Maybe we're looking at it from the wrong point of view."

"Oh?" - Mikado's gaze widened as he nodded calmly - "You're right, it's possible that this is not a disease, but rather a biological change peculiar to his race, that would explain why his biosignals are perfect, but he's still suffering."

"We better call Tearju, it is possible that she can confirm our hypothesis" - said Kurama while looking at the suffering boy - "No offense, but she is the one who has the most experience from the biological point of view"

"I know, Yami-chan's genetic modification is much more impressive than all my experiments, although if I'm honest, I'm more in favor of creating S+ danger level chemicals" - replied Ryoko Mikado while a small smile appeared on her face as she remembered the past, at least the positive one.

"Let's put aside your terrorist past and concentrate on what we have in front of us" - said Kurama while giving her a blank look.

Fifteen minutes later, Tearju appeared in the infirmary with a serious expression. She quickly pulled out her equipment from her pocket dimension, a technology she had created thanks to Kurama's seals, then checked Ren's condition.

"Well?" - Kurama asked seriously.

"It's like you said, he's going through a standard biological process of his species" - replied Tearju with a frown - "It's impressive that he experienced the separation of bodies so early, I guess that shows his future potential, although it could also be because of the conditions on planet Earth, I would have to do more experiments to be sure."

Kurama gave the blonde woman a blank look before focusing on his student - "How long do you need for this procedure to finish?"

"The usual is a few hours of uncontrollable pain from the cell separation" - Tearju replied as she started to think - "After that the procedure is easy and only takes a few seconds."

"I see" - muttered Kurama as he looked at Ren, who was sweating and holding back the urge to scream - "You're a brave boy, Ren, anyone would scream in this situation"

"T-This pain is nothing" - Ren replied as he regained consciousness for a few seconds before closing his eyes again.

Kurama looked at Tearju, who only shrugged because if she was honest, she didn't know why that had happened, after all, in a process as painful as the cellular separation of the Memorizian race, there was no time to think about other things.

A few hours later, Kurama was watching as Ren was breathing normally.

Mikado was checking his bio-signals to make sure everything was okay while Tearju was back to her original job as a science teacher. Kurama had sent a clone to do his job while he continued to monitor the black and white haired boy's overall situation.

"Did you remember to bring clothes for both of them?" - Mikado asked as he looked at his lover.

"No, but I can fix that very easily" - Kurama replied as he created a pair of clothes for the two of them because Ren was naked for this process, a proposition Tearju had given because the fabric of the clothes could make the situation difficult.

"Kurama, his biosignals are starting to escalate" - said Ryoko Mikado while Kurama noticed how Ren's body started to glow.

A powerful light invaded the sight of the two adults, although this did not last long, only a few seconds. When the light disappeared, everything had returned to normal, though now instead of only a boy, there was now a girl by his side.

"I guess everything went well" - Mikado said as he nodded.

Kurama snapped his fingers and the clothes he had created, appeared on the bodies of the two youths.

Ren opened his eyes slowly and looked around in surprise, then looked his sister in the face for the first time in his life.

"I see you woke up" - Kurama said with a smile - "How are you feeling?"

"A little sore" - answered Ren with annoyance - "Although that's not a problem, I just want to know one thing, how is Run?"

"She's in perfect condition" - replied Mikado as she looked at the boy - "I need to run some tests to confirm that she's not suffering from any deficiencies, but from what I can see from her bio-signals, there's nothing wrong with her."

Ren let out a sigh of relief when he heard this because it was not an uncommon thing for one of the siblings to suffer some complication during the process of separating bodies of their race.

"Ugh..." - Run slowly opened her eyes and looked around, surprised to see Ren and realizing what had happened - "We got split up?"

"It's obvious, Run" - Ren replied sarcastically - "Unless you feel this is all a dream?"

Run rolled her eyes at her brother before looking at Kurama with a smile.

Ren gave him a blank look because he didn't expect that the first thing Run did when they split up, was to throw himself into his headmaster's arms and kiss him on the lips.

Mikado smiled slightly as she shook her head.

Kurama remained silent as he gave a blank stare to the girl who could practically be his daughter.

"Let's get this straight, Kurama-san" - Run said as her eyes sparkled with amusement - "I am not your daughter despite my age, so don't try to belittle my love for you."

"I'm too old for you, girl" - said Kurama as he shook his head.

"Oh, come on, in this world there are guys who date older women, but if a girl does the same thing is it wrong?" - said Run with a frown - "Well, never mind, I'm not backing down, and I hope you're ready for a Memorizian attack because this princess will get her prize."

"I recommend you give up, Kurama sensei" - Ren said while holding the bridge of his nose - "Run got the whole stubborn thing out of our parents."

"Shh" - Run hissed with annoyance as she shot a bored look at her brother.

Kurama gave the girl a blank look before grabbing the bridge of his nose because something told him that his problems would only increase as the days went by.

* * * * *

"How?" - Lala asked in surprise when she saw Run and Ren in the same place - "Wait, you guys split up?"

"Yes" - nodded Ren as Run smiled slightly - "Lala-chan ~!"

"Run-chan ~!" - Lala exclaimed as the two old friends talked normally.

Ren shook his head and went to his girlfriend as the others looked on in surprise as the two brothers were together, after all, it was already known that the two seemed to not get along because the moment one appeared, the other was nowhere to be found.

Naruto shrugged, though the look Run was giving him was a bit uncomfortable, it was similar to the one Hinata Kaasan and the others gave him when he was with them.

"I don't think she would do it..." - Naruto muttered before shaking his head because he honestly didn't know what to think about the possibility that his classmate could become his new mother - "I think I've read too many Mangas."

Lala looked at her future husband in confusion before refocusing on Run, who was talking about all the things they could do now that she wasn't linked to Ren.
