The Legend of the Kyubi

"You know very well that my race is one that moves from mate to mate until we find the right one, and that's where we earn this mark that says we can finally have offspring" - said Hitomi as she rolled her eyes at him - "That's why before the time comes for me to no longer see this version of you, I want the two of us to have a child together."     

"You're making it hard to make the decision to leave you in the present" - sighed Kurama as he looked the Succubus straight in the eyes.     

"That's the talent that my race has, we are tempting women who enjoy seeing the self-conscious expressions of our victims" - smiled Hitomi as she licked her lips - "That's why you better make the most of every second you have with me, after all, we won't be seeing each other again for quite a while ~"     

"Well, for you, it won't be long, but for me, it'll be a hell of a long time" - smiled Kurama as he resisted the urge to laugh. He had to admit that he would miss this woman when he went back to the past.

"I didn't expect to see you here" - Kikyo said as she raised an eyebrow - "Much less you, Inuyasha."     

"Kikyo" - sighed Inuyasha as he felt something strange in his heart, though he quickly ignored it - "It's good to see that you're alright"     

"Yeah, this place is interesting, so many things to learn, and without the constant pressure of guarding a cursed object" - replied Kikyo as she nodded in Kagome's direction - "I see that you have matured more than I thought, I could even assure that you're almost at the same level as I was during my prime"     

"Thanks, I guess" - Kagome said as she shrugged her shoulders.     

"Anyway, I don't think you came to see me just to check on me" - Kikyo said as she looked at her former crush, and if she was honest with herself, she didn't feel anything for him anymore, not even the hatred of betrayal because she understood that there was something darker hidden.     

"Well, the truth is that I came to see only how you are and to check something" - Inuyasha said while shaking his head.     

"And what was it that you found out?" - Kikyo asked with slight curiosity.     

"That the two of us are better off apart" - Inuyasha replied as he nodded - "You are living as you wish, and I managed to get what I always longed for."     

Kikyo was silent for a few seconds before her lips arched slightly upwards - "I thought the same thing."     

Inuyasha froze when he saw this small smile because it was his first time seeing it, though he quickly shook his head.     

"It's good to see that we both got on the same page for the first time" - Inuyasha said as he smiled slightly - "It was nice to see you again."     

"Same here" - nodded Kikyo with a slightly more relaxed tone.     

The two former lovers looked at each other before stepping back.     

"I see things went as I thought" - said Kurama as he appeared in the room.     

Inuyasha's body tensed slightly because no matter what happened, he still felt an instinctive fear for the Kitsune Daiyokai.     

"It's been a while, Kurama-dono" - Kikyo said as she looked at the silver-haired Yokai.     

"Same here" - Kurama nodded as he looked carefully at the girl - "How has your life been in the future, have you managed to discover that thing you were looking for?"     

"Not yet, though I feel I'm close to finding it" - Kikyo answered calmly as she shook her head - "What I can assure, is that my life is much better than it was in the past, or at least what I can remember."     

"That's good to hear" - Kurama nodded with a small smile.     

"Where have you been, Kurama-san?" - Kagome asked curiously.     

"Talking to someone important" - replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders.     

"Male or female?" - Izumi asked with a frown.     

"A man and a woman" - replied Kurama as he raised an eyebrow - "Anyway, I'm going to head to my home to check on its condition, anyone wants to join me?"     

"I'd like to, but I want to spend time with my family, after all, we haven't seen each other in a long time" - Kagome said as she felt her mother hug her with all her might - "Ugh,mom, you're hurting me!"     

"Come on, Tousan" - said Izumi as she took her boyfriend's hand.     

Inuyasha nodded weakly as the Yokai retreated, all before Kikyo's calm gaze.     

"Are you okay?" - Kagome asked as she looked at her past life.     

"Why do you ask?" - Kikyo replied as she raised an eyebrow.     

"Because I can see you smiling slightly" - Kagome replied as she looked at her other self - "Aren't you upset that he turned over a new leaf so quickly?"     

"Not in the least" - Kikyo replied as she shook her head - "In fact, I'm happy for him, at least now I don't have to worry about him."

Time flew by, and Kurama had decided it was time to return to the past.     

Inuyasha and Izumi nodded at this.     

Kagome seemed to have accepted this idea as well.     

Over the past few days, Izumi had managed to talk to the woman her father was seeing, and she had to admit that she was everything her father seemed to like in a woman, kind, caring, a cute personality and possibly a body with enough curves to give a weak hearted man a heart attack just by looking at her naked silhouette.     

Izumi could still remember their first encounter, mostly because the stinky scent of her father, mixed with the stench of sex was permeating this woman's skin, though it wasn't as if she could blame her after discovering her race. Succubus, the dream demons that devoured the vitality of their victims through sex or dreams, depending on how attractive you are as prey.     

"Hello, Izumi-chan" - Hitomi said while giving a small smile to her lover's daughter - "What are you doing?"     

"Nothing" - Izumi replied, though her expression changed when she felt a familiar aura on the woman's stomach - "Oh god!"     

"Are? I didn't think you'd find out so soon" - Hitomi said in surprise.     

"Wait! How is it possible that you're showing symptoms of pregnancy so fast when you were just like nothing yesterday?" - Izumi asked with a frown.     

"It's a natural biology of my kind" - replied Hitomi while shrugging her shoulders - "The speed in the development of our offspring depends on the vitality we absorb from our partner, and seeing how your father is..."     

"I understand, you don't need to explain any further" - Izumi said as she shook her head, after all, she didn't want to know anything about what was going on inside her father's room - "So, how long will it take you to give birth?"     

"It depends on how much vitality your father gives me" - Hitomi answered while tilting her head - "Like I said, my baby's development depends on my partner"     

"I-I see..." - Izumi nodded, not knowing what else to say, after all, she didn't expect this news in the early hours of the morning - "Will you come with us to the past?"     

"Sorry, it's impossible" - replied Hitomi while shaking her head - "One, because it might harm my baby, two, because it's basically impossible because I don't possess a catalyst like the pearl of Shikon."     

"You know about the pearl?" - Izumi asked in surprise.     

"Of course I know about it, it's an ancient legend that all the Yokai and demons that still inhabit Japan know about" - Hitomi answered while shaking her head - "Back to the point, even if I could travel back in time, I don't think I could accept it."     

"Why?" - Izumi asked with a frown.     

"Because I'm used to my lifestyle" - replied Hitomi while shaking her head - "Besides, I don't know what kind of consequences Kurama will have if he helps me travel with him, I mean, he himself told me that I was already pushing his luck by telling him some important things."     

"Like what?" - Izumi asked curiously.     

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I can't talk about it" - Hitomi replied while shaking her head.     

"Tch" - Izumi clicked her tongue, though this seemed kind of cute from Hitomi's point of view, who had a motherly smile on her face. Oh, don't get her wrong, her being a sex demon didn't mean she was an unfeeling bitch, but rather that she was conditioned to have to absorb the vitality of men to live and grow stronger.     

From the point of view of many dream demons, both Succubus and Incubus, their biological condition was more of a curse than a blessing, one they were forced to accept and learn to "enjoy" unless they wanted to go insane, which is why many of them were happy to find the right person.
