The Legend of the Kyubi

"That's right" - nodded Kurama as he pondered - "Now we just have to wait for the others to kill Naraku, so we can seal the well for good."     

"By the way, what will you do with that girl?" - Hitomi asked curiously. She was clearly referring to Kagome.     

"I'm sorry to tell you that because of her strong spiritual power, she won't be able to stay long in the human world because that would cause an imbalance" - Kikyo replied while shaking her head - "The body of a person with high spiritual power, unconsciously absorbs the spiritual energy of the world, and now that there are no ley lines, unconsciously absorbing all that power will cause nature to slowly start destroying itself, causing an anticipated end of the world"     

"Wait, that doesn't make sense, if that's the way you say, then the presence of demons and Yokai would have already caused global destruction" - Hitomi replied with a frown.     

"That would be the case, if Kurama hadn't directly intervened" - Kaguya replied as she appeared in front of the group - "Hello, new girl"     

"Hello?" - Hitomi repeated, confused because she honestly didn't know who this beautiful woman was.     

"Her name is Kaguya, and you may know her as the moon princess" - said Kurama as he introduced his wife.     

"It's an honor!" - Hitomi exclaimed with excitement because she loved Japanese mythology.     

"Ok, we can talk about that another time, it's time for us to introduce you to the others" - said Kaguya with a small smile as she took Hitomi by the hand.     

"By the way, grandpa, Ayame Onee-chan is looking for you" - said Mike, Izumi and Inuyasha's son.     

"Really?" - Kurama asked in surprise.     

"I still can't believe how that idiot joined our family after how annoying she was in the past" - said Izumi while shaking her head.     

"I know, you don't have to remember my past actions, even I myself wish to choke my younger self" - said a female voice. She was a beautiful woman with reddish brown hair and emerald green eyes who was wearing a white kimono with wolf fur covering some areas.     

"At least now you can remember it with a smile," Kurama said as he shook his head as he looked at his last wife, Ayame of the wolf clan, the same girl who had pestered him for months in order to save Koga.     

Their relationship had started out as one in which Kurama honestly wanted nothing to do with her, but with the passing of time, and the intervention of the great sage, may he rest in peace, the two ended hooking up after a party, oh, and speaking of the one responsible, that was none other than Naruto in one of his pranks.     

The affair ended with Ayame getting pregnant and the two ending up agreeing to enter into a relationship for the sake of the cub, which ended up making the wolf girl mature quickly, leaving the firm leader she now was, a person no one could relate to the spoiled girl of the past.     

"How is Koga?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow. Yes, that was the name of his son with Ayame, in the name of the wolf boy who had fought for his people.     

At first, Kurama wasn't too happy with this idea, though after giving it some thought and realizing how important he had been to the girl, he decided to accept it, and with that earning him a few more points with Ayame. Oh, don't get her wrong, long before the incident that changed their relationship, she had given up her obsession with Koga, though that didn't mean that there weren't times when she thought about the boy and pondered how everything would have been if he had still been alive.     

"He's taking care of Kon" - Ayame replied as she shook her head - "We need to talk about Naruto, he's teaching my son some weird stuff."     

"I will when we get back home, I'm also starting to get annoyed with Naruto's carefree attitude, more so when he is my heir" - Kurama said with annoyance.     

"Did you call me, Tousan?" - Naruto asked, who was wearing a Hawaiian outfit and sunglasses, showing how carefree he was.     

"Yes, we need to talk, son" - said Kurama seriously - "You're already over 500 years old, and you're still acting like a child, I think it's time for me to pass the clan command to you."     

"Oh, come on, you know I don't want to be the leader!" - Naruto exclaimed with annoyance - "You can give the position to Ryu, he's much more qualified, besides, he has an heir who can carry on the tradition!"     

Ryu had ended up marrying Sango and the two now had two children, a boy and a girl.     

"Naruto..." - Kurama growled as he narrowed his eyes - "This time your mother won't change my mind, I want you to start thinking more about the clan and less about your fun."     

Naruto let out a sigh before nodding - "I understand, I just wanted to have a little more fun before taking over..."     

"I know, that's why I hadn't said anything to you until now, but you have to understand it's enough of teaching weird things to your brothers and not acting your age" - sighed Kurama while shaking his head - "Anyway, I'm going to give you control tomorrow morning, and I hope I don't have any pranks."     

"I know, I know, you don't have to repeat it, I'm already going to act like a boring man" - said Naruto with annoyance.     

"What's wrong?" - Kushina asked as she saw how her husband was yelling at her son.     

Kurama looked at his wife telling her what he had said to their son.     

"Don't you think you're being a little hard on him?" - Kushina asked with a frown - "You know very well that Naruto doesn't like that kind of thing."     

"Kushina, I've given him more than enough time to mature, but that wasn't the case, he's still acting like a teenager, and it's time for that to end" - Kurama said with a frown - "And all because you told me to, well, not anymore"     

"He's doing a good job" - Kushina said while frowning.     

"I know he's been training with you in the art of Fuinjutsu to help this dimension..." - Kurama said seriously - "However, we need him to step up, after all, I've already been a long time as a leader."     

Kushina let out a sigh before nodding weakly - "I understand."     

Naruto also seemed to understand the reason for his father's attitude, so he quickly bowed his head and nodded - "I understand, I'm going to take the lead."     

"Thank you, I know you'll do a great job, after all, I've seen how you've been studying, that's why I've accepted your mother's requests to let you do whatever you want" - Kurama said while looking at his son.     

"I won't disappoint you, Tousan" - said Naruto firmly.     

"You never have, and I'm sure you won't in the future either" - smiled Kurama as he put his hand on his son's shoulder - "Now, it's time for the others to know what you are capable of as a leader."     

"Ok!" - Naruto nodded before disappearing from the spot.     

"I don't understand why he was being such a fool" - said Ayame as she looked at Kushina, who was whistling.     

"Anything to say, Kushi-chan?" - Kurama asked while narrowing his eyes.     

"The truth is that he's been reading a lot of Chinese novels and always wished to be like those protagonists that they consider as stupid and then show their talent" - Kushina replied awkwardly.     

"That excuse is stupid, he's been acting like that ever since he went to.... Oh, I see, that's why..." - Kurama said as he looked at his wife - "It was when he went on vacation to Hawaii..."     

Kushina started to sweat when she heard this because she knew Kurama had found the main point.     

"Are you going to talk or am I going to have to find out myself by going to that island?" - Kurama asked as he narrowed his eyes.     

"Ok, I admit it, Naruto changed when he went to that island because he met a girl there" - Kushina said as she let out a sigh and pulled out a picture of her son with that girl.     

"A local goddess?" - Kurama asked with surprise because those tattoos were something traditional to Hawaiian deities - "Why didn't you tell me instead of doing all this charade?"     

"I don't know, but he told me not to tell you" - replied Kushina while shaking her head.     

Kurama decided it was a good time to have a serious talk with his son, when he felt a tremor in the fiber of space-time.     

"Kuro-chan..." - Kushina said with a pale face - "What is that?"     

"I don't know, but it's not a good thing" - replied Kurama as he heard something start to break - "Go to the others and tell them to get ready, we're about to have a problem as big as Mount Fuji!"     

"Kurama..." - Kaguya said seriously as she watched the sky begin to crack - "This is a dimensional fusion..."     

"Dimensional fusion?" - Kushina asked in surprise.
